    You can seal up the bottom of the goggles to prevent breath from seeping up and in, leave the top open, that’s what I’ve done with my sierra’s and they have been doing well (I’m a super sweaty guy too)

    I use Revision Sawfly's + Revision anti-fog wipes, ZERO fogging! (I even hand out wipes to people @ games when I see them totally fogged up) - I tried all sorts of combo's glasses, goggles & anti-fog solutions etc...nothing worked. A long time ago a RAF Regiment guy who used to play @ out site, handed me a Revision wipe and it was Night & Day...never looked back since and I buy them in bulk now.

    Thank you for sharing this product with us. Speaking of fogging I still remember my first airsoft game, I had full seal goggles and an Arabian scarf covering my face. And my goggles fog up like every breath I take because I sweat so much that even if I move my scarf to lower position I still fog up like crazy. I don't know what to do at that time, but just keep playing and have a hard time seeing anything, I pretty much shoot blind into the human silhouette and not knowing it's friendly or foe lol.
    After that, I try a lot of solutions, like revision wipes. Anti-fog wipes never work for my airsoft goggles and even for my corrective lens glasses. But after that one of my friend told me just use soap water to wash the glass and let it have a couple of soap water coating onto it, it will prevent the fog form up, and it works for me. The science behind it, it's just to coat some oil onto the glass and not allow water and moisture to form.

      I'm the same I sweat a lot!! I've had sweat running down the inside of my goggles before so I totally feel your pain, yeah this is genuinely the first lower face I've been really satisfied with ever and I've been playing 25 years so ive been through the options. It's pricey but totally worth it.

    Yeah, you know that I was totally all about shooting glasses and no face pro for ages. Then there was that time that we where less than 10 minutes into the National Airsoft Event when someone phoned in a drop shot from a ridge over 40meters away, and one of your Bristol BATS crew had his smile permanently rearranged before our eyes. Been trying to figure out the best combo of protection since. This looks pretty solid combo.

    • @OllieTalksAirsoft
      @OllieTalksAirsoft  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Well you're not as sweaty as me Dan 🥵 so you can get away with some standard bolle eye pro and won't need the fans but the face pro is awesome, and I know you'd make it look really cool too! It feel like what the bat suit is made of, really weird. And yeah mark getting his tooth shot out, ouch, bad times!

    My site started selling revision wipes. It's what the army uses/used in Afghanistan. As long as you apply it between each game, it keeps your goggles fog free. You can even apply it after you fogged up and it'll sort you out. Genuine black magic.

    I've very rarely had any issues with fogging, for about 10 years now I've been using the Peltor Marcus Gronholm safety glasses/no face mask combination. I keep my mouth closed to protect my teeth lol. But you're right about face protection and the trapped heat and breath rising which causes eye pro fogging. That rubber face shield which directs exhalation downwards does look good though.

    Hi first of om sorry for my English . I’m an Airsoft player from Belgium 🇧🇪 and I use in my goggle’s bolé b200 anti-fog spray and it helps pretty damn good just spray some on the glasses swipe it around and let I’d sit for some time (4-to-10 min ) en Dan swipe it wit a micro fiber cloth and it works so good never head an issue with fogging when I use it!!! Definitely reconnected it to all !!!!

    Fogging is a pretty difficult issue, but airsoft seems to be lagging in terms of how to solve it, especially considering how big of an issue it can be.
    All we have to do is look to the ways its been solved before, and gas masks are a fantastic example.
    an oral nasal cup completely isolates the breath from the lenses, ensuring any fog is not caused by breath.
    thats why I think brainexploders design works so well, it is very reminiscent of inner oral nasal cups.

    • @OllieTalksAirsoft
      @OllieTalksAirsoft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree 100% the brain exploder design makes the setup like a dyeI4 or 5 internally but you can get a cheek weld on the gun too 🥳🥳😎

    I've been a DM snood user for a couple of years now with either Wiley Sabre glasses (outdoors) or Bolle i800 for indoor. My two tips for using a snood is
    1) Breathe through your nose as much as possible, and if you do need to use your mouth pull the snood down if its safe to do so. You'll avoid blowing the hot damp air up into your eyepro that way.
    2) The older snoods came with fabric covering the mesh on the outside and the inside, but if you cut out the material from the inside you'll greatly increase airflow through the mesh (I think the newer model does away with the inner material).
    The main downside with wearing a snood, at least in my experience, is getting shot on the nose. Guaranteed to make you jump and bring a tear to the eyes! 🤣

    Thermal lenses do it for me (Dye mask, Valken Tango thermal, etc). Only issue I have is I wear high prescription glasses so don't have the option to wear contact lenses and my glasses fog up under my goggles even with antifog solution, catcrap, etc. so I am now going to move over to prescription safety/shooting glasses.

    • @Hamzah__
      @Hamzah__ 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Im the same, have you seen the YouZee inserts for the dye mask? Have been considering them.

    • @Anonymous_1_1
      @Anonymous_1_1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Hamzah__ prescription lens inserts like that work great if you want a small set of goggles that won't otherwise fit a normal pair of glasses underneath, but the Dye masks have no such issues. Still uses standard prescription lenses that are just as susceptible to fogging as any other pair of prescription lenses. I wear my prescription safety glasses for outdoor games and my Dye mask for CQB. I still fog up a little bit after a while but I can keep on top of it with anti-fog wipes. If I wanted to fix it once and for all, I might consider fitting an exfog to my helmet but it's that small of an issue now tha I'm happy to carry on as I am.

    bolle x800, mesh mask cut on the sides for shouldering, attached to goggles, and now i will try to attach a small 20x20mm fan on the top of the goggles with a battery pack on the strap to toggle the fan. think its going to be my endgame. They already work great even in foggy, cold days playing in swamp forests. They were already great even with balaclavas.
    Tried those cheap goggles with an inbuilt fan and they were amazing, quiet too, didnt even know if it was on most of the time but the actual goggles were extremela flimsy, bad materials, quality, the protection rating not good enough, bad strap solution and just flimsy.
