Those 'easy' (Palace, Southampton and Brighton) games that we lost look even worse defeats now. Next season is going to be even tougher and less forgiving. Games on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday with a thin and inexperienced squad. Newcastle, Spurs and Man United are gonna be spending big and bringing in quality. Unless we do the same I can't see us even in the top 6.
All of that is pure facts!! It's hard to look at our season in a positive way because realistically we should be exactly where we are but the way the season played out and the missed opportunities we had, it's painful! The best analogy i can give is hitting 5 numbers on the lottery and missing that 6th and final number, you'd be happy with the £100 you won but you'd be having sleepless night's over the life changing money you could've had if you got that final number! And that's exactly what we did this season, we got 5 numbers and missed the champions league jackpot! 😭🤯😡🤦🏽♂️

Losing the spot to Spurs as well makes it even more bitter. I could handle missing out due to United and Ronaldo, not Spurs. We've bottled it essentially.

3 players meant to be absolutely key to team and how Arteta wants to play in KT, Tomi and Partey are likely to spend as much time on physio table as on the field. How this is solved is one serious pickle. But clearly KT, Partey and Tomi cannot be relied upon to be available throughout a season. In fact quite the opposite, we know we'll miss them for more than a quarter of every season.
Next season will be 2 games a week too!
