Then again, I don't think I will be picking that series up because, being a South Slavic person whose mythology includes vampires, I just _cannot_ take them seriously as love interests 😆 Like, how can I find sexy a zombie that comes to your house at 3 in the morning, knocking at the door until he wakes up the entire household, wailing to be let inside (for no real reason except being annoying)?? 😂😂

The vampires definetly have so much lore to them that's not traditional so I'd say if that's the one thing stopping you I'd try it. Like they aren't that at all
