      Bad take, very bad. Except for the victim of the crime of getting their bike stolen which might had been his only modes of transportation to school, a job, or even shopping for groceries. Like stealing a horse would destroy a family because it's how they function living far from a township or tending their homestead all on their own. Any crime should be dealt with seriously and fairly.

Absolutely yes. But lie the person said, it is way, way, way less damage to society. When you deal damage on the level of SBF however, that's when you are affecting more then just 1 person. His victims goes into the tens to hundreds of millions, with tens of hundreds of billions gone. The second one does way more damage to society then the first. hence why the second should be punished way worse and not been given any sort of benefits, simply because the second criminal is rich beyond all measures.

      Bonded out not bailed

    • @Pygmyz06
      @Pygmyz06 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      bail is the money or property required in the form of a security deposit and is given to ensure that you will return and appear for your court date if you are released. By paying the bail amount, you are using that act to symbolize your seriousness in promising to return if you are let out. If you do not keep that promise, you forfeit the bail.
      Sometimes you may not have the financial resources to pay, or you are unable to get the money quickly. This is where a bondsman or bonding company steps in. They assure the court that they will pay the bail amount on your behalf in exchange for you paying them a fee. This financial pledge from the bonding company is called a bond.

      @@LuciferMoringstar999 You misunderstood what I said (my bad). If SBF hadnt stolen from rich people he would have gotten away with it, at least for a lot longer anyway. LP stole from what rich people consider to be poor people (sub £1Million) which means he probably wont face any real legal consequences regardless of the POS he is.

      The amount of idiots here who don’t understand that bail is not “paying for your crimes” it’s actually surprising to me. When you get arrested for committing a crime they put you in jail, where you will wait there until your trial begins. When you post bail it only means you won’t be waiting in jail until your trial begins. It doesn’t mean you won’t be found guilty in court. Literally anyone could make bail, good God y’all need to read a book.

    With the amount of funds he had access to, and how easy it is to launder money in the crypto community, I bet he has a fortune tucked away.
