And I have to say that I have never meet a more friendly people in the world as the Turkish people. So open minded and curios on you, even thou, there English is not so good. We love you tread the globe. You must visit eastern Turkey. Kars, Ağrı, Urfa, Mardin... these are unique places in the universe. I know these are as beautiful as Cappadocia. You can meet the most neighborhood people in the world in Urfa. You can eat the most delicious food in Gaziantep. You can feel the magic and spirit in old Mardin.

Some tourists who make videos on Turkey put an Arabic/Indian song over it and assume we are Arabs when they've only been to Istanbul's European side. We are basically Muslim Greeks. I don't even consider you guys as tourists, you guys should be given Turkish citizenship.

right now in the UK it's just a Sunday bank holiday all the kids go back to school and a week's time and also within the next 3 weeks it will be the end of the holiday season in the UK I think you might be right decision to stick to what you know and carried on going around Turkey and gave us all valuable information of different locations and also schedule bit of your food connoisseur knowledge and get your cake and eat it and of course with the tea or the cafe or occasional cold beer my experience in life is that food always tastes better if you're in the right place at the right time and believe me you are right now I am looking at the housing market in Turkey I'm looking at the price of apartments I have warmed to the idea of possibly getting a small apartment somewhere in Turkey there is lots of good information around on TH-cam and of course people like yourselves you have more knowledge and experience than most I have been to Turkey many times in the past and did like you decide loved it and it might happen in the future always remember Turkey is like the Pearl and the Jewel In country full of Eastern Promise remember you are like on the heaters Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy xxxxxxxxxx

I wonder if the Borders Authorities do a trial run with someone that doesn’t speak the language and see whether the “ follow instructions “ method actually works and facilitate the whole procedure for the foreign user.I’m sure the experience would highlight a few holes in the system.
It sounds like you have this kind of planning background ..... I think you are right it is a great way to find out the kinks in a system, and of course unless you don't know what you are doing (like us!) you don't realise the system is tricky !! M xx
When you get back for the turtle sanctuary opening, are you going to help set up a t-shirt site? Logo on shirt, etc.....I have my plane tickets for Istanbul in December and will get over yo the sanctuary in the spring.
Hi Debbie - yes we hope one day to be able to do that - but we need to get permission for Seher to be able to sell T-shirts as she needs a licence to sell anything and a tax number etc .... but once we have found a way we will share it - we have made a commitment to help forever ... so this is a long term project and we will not abandon her !! Ha Ha !! LOL - I am sure there is a way to bring an animal back with all the paperwork - but there are lots of animal rescue centres in the UK that need animals adopting and it might be less traumatic for the animal to not be shipped to a new country / weather etc .... just a though 🌺🤗💜
Thank you. I think it’s because of the poor animals that been rescued from Afghanistan in last few days has got me thinking about helping animals in overseas rescues n thought it was a way I could help.
That is very thoughtful - I have to be honest the animals in Turkey are some of the best looked after in the world ... We are hoping to meet up with some animal workers in Georgia ... where they have a problem, as there is no infrastructure to spay and neuter the street animals so there are lots .... lots in trouble !! If we managed to find / work with a charity ... I will share that information in the newsletter which is free to sight up to on the website xx Marianne xx

I wonder if the Borders Authorities do a trial run with someone that doesn’t speak the language and see whether the “ follow instructions “ method actually works and facilitate the whole procedure for the foreign user.I’m sure the experience would highlight a few holes in the system.
It sounds like you have this kind of planning background ..... I think you are right it is a great way to find out the kinks in a system, and of course unless you don't know what you are doing (like us!) you don't realise the system is tricky !! M xx

When you get back for the turtle sanctuary opening, are you going to help set up a t-shirt site? Logo on shirt, etc.....I have my plane tickets for Istanbul in December and will get over yo the sanctuary in the spring.
Hi Debbie - yes we hope one day to be able to do that - but we need to get permission for Seher to be able to sell T-shirts as she needs a licence to sell anything and a tax number etc .... but once we have found a way we will share it - we have made a commitment to help forever ... so this is a long term project and we will not abandon her !! Hi Nigel - no it is 100 Euros - we are in a van which is classed as a truck .... for one month 🌺 After driving here for a while ... I understand why it is this expensive and why it is necessary !! Marianne

I know u guys love ur animals n I love how caring you are to them. Do u know is it possible to bring a Turkish animal back to the UK? Also cactus man looks like someone cheering when their footy team has scored lol
Ha Ha !! LOL - I am sure there is a way to bring an animal back with all the paperwork - but there are lots of animal rescue centres in the UK that need animals adopting and it might be less traumatic for the animal to not be shipped to a new country / weather etc .... just a though 🌺🤗💜
Thank you. I think it’s because of the poor animals that been rescued from Afghanistan in last few days has got me thinking about helping animals in overseas rescues n thought it was a way I could help.
That is very thoughtful - I have to be honest the animals in Turkey are some of the best looked after in the world ... We are hoping to meet up with some animal workers in Georgia ... where they have a problem, as there is no infrastructure to spay and neuter the street animals so there are lots .... lots in trouble !! If we managed to find / work with a charity ... I will share that information in the newsletter which is free to sight up to on the website xx Marianne xx
