oh my god, 4 years later you are a godsend...the single take mode had me stumped, all these people using the slicer tool and me wondering why mine didn't work...thank you!
So damn great, you explained pretty much everything down to the point and you re super fun also, your voice sounds like badger in Breaking Bad , thanks man have a nice day
Wow, this was extremely helpful. I watched a couple of other folk try to explain this feature and they totally confused the heck out of me. Thanks for making it plain.
Dude, 10:15 secs, Single take mode. This is where I was totally stuck (razor wouldn't work!!). I watched like 5 vids, till you told me this. Thanks so much!!
Very nicely done. I did not understand comp mode at all until I watched your video. To be honest, it took me two viewings to get it, but it's been worth the effort. Thanks for doing this. Yours are the clearest, most easily understood Reason videos that I've seen yet.
Such an awesome video. That cleared up a lot of stuff that i was wondering about. i didnt think you could crossfade in reason 10 until i saw this video. thanks so much
Great tutorial. Please tell me. Where do I find your tutorial for pitch editing mode in reason which you talked about it at the end in this video ..? All the best.
Thanks for this video..the single take mode had been messing with brain...cos sometimes the razor comes up and some times nothing. Thanks for this video.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this tutorial! What would you suggest for recording something like a bass track where you would have long recorded performances (3 min at least) and situations where you would need to "fix" just a few notes here and there?
Awesome, thanks for that! If you want to jump right to where he talks about why you can't use the razor to cut pieces properly/why you can't delete parts you did use the razor on, here you go: 10:03
Gonna try this out .. in reason 7.1 .. though I have reason 10 haven't installed it yet .. looking at all the glitches users face with older computers installing reason 10 .. 2019 .. I'm sure there with 10
Great video, but... could you talk less and get to the point quicker? I'd rather be making music than watching youtube videos lol. I was having issues with recording vocals in reason (AGAIN)... and found myself here, thus... I did not know it saved all the takes!! No more undo record and new tracks. So... worth the watch. Buuuut yeah... 30min for just a quick little tip?
Wow this was awesome. I haven’t used the comp editor at all. I didn’t know what it was for. Now I’m gonna have a ball messing around with it. Thank you. I’m also going to hear 6 1 2 5 over and over in my nightmares. Thanks for that too. 😂

What a FANTASTIC tutorial. You have brought me back to Reason's sequencer, back from the Reaper one. Very stoked to watch more!

This was a great tutorial! Especially the part with crossfades. I've be using waaaaay too harder techniques to achieve the same result.
This contained everything I needed. Perfecto!
Dude you are fantastic, both your knowledge and your presentation. Instantly subscribed.
Agreed. Great tutorial! Reason Comp Editing was, indeed, very confusing from the User Manual explanation. Chill ...Guy made it totally understandable!
Great tutorial, very easy to follow
Dude!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!! Only video I've seen that actually explains it!
Joey Dalto glad you liked the video thanks for the comment.
11:00 - life saver for a first time Reason audio user (been using it as a rewire slave since v1 but moving over for audio now). Thanks for the tip °¬)
I'm having a problem getting the top line to show silence....can anyone help?
Great tutorial. Please tell me. Where do I find your tutorial for pitch editing mode in reason which you talked about it at the end in this video ..? All the best.
Thank you very clear explanation
Great video!!
Comp mode is so good, so powerful, love it!!
Hi. Is it possible to set automatic recording from left locator? So that I can hear a piece in front of the locator before recording? Thanks.
Very well explained. Isn't there also a way of adding part of the silence track?
Thanks for this video..the single take mode had been messing with brain...cos sometimes the razor comes up and some times nothing. Thanks for this video.

Saul Goodman knows how to make music!
😂
Super useful video - thank you. Your step by step approach is great. Any chance of something on the ReGroove Mixer?
Thanks mate!
You can also join some audio clips (stack on each other and command+j) and edit it in comp mode :)
Appreciate you much bro!!!!
I'm a CM fan... and ChCG too!!! Greetings from Argentina
Late to the party but thank you that was super helpful

It's a pity that comp mode does not have the ability to copy internal parts of the path.
