@@OldAussieAds I think he's referring to writing credits, Steven was there for the writing of the song so therefore should be given some sort of rights to the music as far as just a standard nod to him being the original drummer. He helped shape the sound of Guns n Roses, give the man some credit regardless whether he played on the "record" or not. Sorum was great but they WROTE this song with Adler being the drummer and setting the pace for the song is just as important as anything else.
@@DiegoGarcia-iu6kz seeee! Los amo a los dos. Matt es un animal. Suena demoledor.
Sorum is obviously a good drummer just too technical for GnR uses too much double bass..just think how bad Appetite would have sounded with Sorum drumming
Steven is the best drummer they ever had. He’s one of a five piece that were greater than the sum of their parts.
This really sounds goods. It's hypnotic.
Excellent more , more , more
Adler
Listen to his bass drum work.
He was amazing.
Awsome tone for the guitar !!!!
Still the only drummer for GNR
Izzy and Duff was a huge factor for steven’s drumming, Matt did great too when he got the chance…
Eterno baterista do Guns! Alma pura.
nice
a shame that they gave steven Adler only just credits on Civil war.....
slash and duff are assholes they didn't even gave hime the chance with the reunion
That's because on UYI, Matt Sorum plays drums on every track but Civil War. It's not going to list who played on demos.

@@freaknbigpanda Oh trust me, I have the upmost respect for Steven Adler. GnR was a sum of it's parts and Adler was a vital ingredient.
@@freaknbigpandai was referring to this 👍

How do you know this is Steven Adler? Of Guns n Roses for that matter?
It’s from the old mates studio sessions. There is an awesome take on locomotive amongst a couple of other tracks.
These recordings come from rehearsals in Chicago in 1989, only Slash, Duff and Steven played at those rehearsals
steven adler drumming was so perfect and fit for guns n roses music, when steven gone they seems like loosing their music direction
It's exactly what I've been thinking since 1991 !
The problem is that Adler was heavily addicted to drugs during this time period. Also Axl didn't like Adler due to Adler giving a speedball to Erin.
He hardly had a say in anything, he was just the drummer
He didn't write many songs
yup they really have noy had anything new that he wasnt already playing 1 and 2 was mostly old songs
Unmatched flow but I feel matt is more creative like in the breakdown at the end.
For me adler good n fit for fast songs, sorrum better on slow songs
the best and only drummer of GNR they should re release USE YOUR ILLUSION with Steven Adler on drums I still dont like Matt Sorum
Just shows Steven Adler and his drug habits over took the drumming
MATT SORUM IS THE BEST MORE STRONGER BEAT
Matt made It better at least on this classic... ,
Sorum is obviously a good drummer just too technical for GnR uses too much double bass..just think how bad Appetite would have sounded with Sorum drumming
Adler also used double bass during PRE-GNR days
Sorum had no feeling
Nice try. That is not Slash playing.
😂😂😂
Adler was great but he’s loose on these demos. Couldn’t keep up
Sorum was way too robotic. Adler always had soul, and you can hear it here, even if it sounds loose.
This is poor drumming. Matt did a better job on this song.
