It's a shame Crave didn't get the moment it deserved. Tommy was truly out to get her and of course Mariah gets all the blame 😒 I didn't realize that clown Cory was a part of this too, he's awful.
Ginx Teng ya but he tommy didn’t want her going out on her own and glitter was already being sabotaged by then cause the idea of glitter started in 96/97
This record label was not Mariah's idea. She said so in interviews after the label folded. Tommy saw him and Mariah as the next Emilio and Gloria Estefan, as he described in his memoir. So, it seems like the label was Tommy's idea, making the song Last Chance autobiographical for Mariah, trying to make her marriage work.
too bad everything went havoc afterwards she could have done something more with this record , so sad just months after this she was on her way to divorce and change of plans have been set thus the recording of butterfly she had to finish her contract with sony records to be free, but if everything went well what more she could have really done with her career and no offense might have preservered her voice further if she was still with mottola, because the whole situation really stressed her out and ruined her voice
1. Mariah was already working on Butterfly when this video was recorded. The divorce did not cause a "change of plans." She had been in the studio since late 1996/early 1997 working on a new album and it eventually became Butterfly. 2. Crave Records fell through because of Tommy. They were on their way to divorce and he pulled his support of the label. 🤷🏽♀️ Not that I believe it was ever the right move for her to start her own label considering how preoccupied she was with her own career. 3. I'm sure all the stress of the divorce had an effect on her vocals but her voice was going to go through those changes in that era regardless of whether she was with Tommy or not. Her voice was changing/maturing/evolving. 🤷🏽♀️
i love how Mariah fans can just see a photo of her and know exactly what year/era it was for her.
Its so weird seeing daydreamriah in 1997 😭😭
man she was SO beautiful back in the Daydream era! Completely flawless!
noemistephanie93 True. I also think she looked this good here because she was just getting into her Butterfly look.
Wrapped In The Warm Gentle Breeze hm u make a good point. She does look like the butterfly era as well
During that time, she was recording Whenever You Call, Close My Eyes, Outside and was before recording the song Butterfly as she was still with Tommy.
Please posting the Mariah’s videos back 😢
I think this was early 1997 because she worked with allure during that time
Darlene Nguyen she never wore fringe bangs in butterfly,I think this is the last of daydream.
clint johnson
She wore it in February of 1997
LOVE this Allure song Head over Heels! It's so interesting seeing this in-between of Daydreamriah and Butterflyriah she's gorgeous

Sorry for the all those cuts, but I didn't do that.
She look so stunning at this time!!!
LEGENDARY
I love Mariah 💘 💗 ♥ 💓
Mariah really could’ve done so well with this label, had she of had the chance.
also, that song didn't get anywhere near #1 lmaoo
OMG that walk off at the end,I'm literally cringing 😂😂😂😂
It’s sad that this idea flopped
it didn't flop, Tommy Matola sabotaged her.
Caramel Delight ya Ik that but to the public people think it just flopped and sabotaged or not, it still flopped :((((((
Caramel Delight I don't think he was sabotaging them in that time, because butterfly still a successful era
Ginx Teng ya but he tommy didn’t want her going out on her own and glitter was already being sabotaged by then cause the idea of glitter started in 96/97

Is there a demo of this song in Mariah's voice?
why can't they just put their headphones on properly?
I thought that she admitted not really owning "Crave Records". She dissolved it after her first divorce.
It was an imprint through Columbia records, the label that was actively sabotaging her career at the time
@@dariusjamison8888 She implied In an interview that Tommy endorsed the label for. That girl group was definitely no competition.
Now we know 🙂
it's 1997
Sick Tommy

You can tell that she was so fake presentational in this. This is so phony anhd not Mariah's voice at all.
