This is great! I just bought the F1 because of this video. For some reason my sound switch doesn't recognize the F1. Where do I download the N/I software in the bottom left corner of your video?
Wzup Spencer Davis, sorry for the delay, the Controller Editor and driver can be found here: www.native-instruments.com/en/support/downloads/drivers-other-files/ let me know if you are still having issues. You can also use Native Access if you have applied your product key, and the apps will be available for the F1. Thanks
Can you control with this controller as I am doing with the BeatstepPro the Analog RYTM MK2 or others hardwares? I am looking for a controller with faders that makes me able to map kicks from the AR or other external hardwares, Many thanks for the sharing!!! Cheers
Wzup Frankie...I haven't had the opportunity to use that controller but it appears to be midi mappable in the manual it looks like it may work. No guarantee but it looks like it is worth a shot if it.
Omg you just exited and struck me down at the same time with this Numark Orbit. I'd love to have one, but it's not to be found anywhere... I wish I've bought it when it was in production, It would open whole new posibilities.
Wzup Jan, thanks for checking out the video. Yeah the Orbit was unique and unfortunately was not marketed to its full potential. I see them on eBay occasionally so be sure to set a search with notifications to secure one. Best of Luck.

hi mate, great to find a video on soundswitch with the f1 controller, only thing is i have tried to use the coloured buttons to launch the autoloops but nothing happens, soundswitch recognises i have pressed the button but no change on the fly. i can control strobe, blackout,whiteout and strobe intensity. but after been able to control somethings but when i close soundswitch and then open it all the controller mappings are lost and i have to do all the mappings again. i have clicked on save in the top right hand corner but i still loose mapings.
@@XFaderz hi xfaderz did you manage to hook up your gear, and find out if your f1 still has kept its mapping to sound switch or do you still have to reprogram everything again. I managed to program some of the thing you done in the video but still not been able to programme the rgb buttons to launch the 32 pre-set light banks to work. i havent tried the single colour buttons. but if i could find out how to save what i have been able to map would still be a good. if you find out any thing or have any tips it would be much appreciative. thanks.

Traktor F1 tiene muchas opciones de mapeo. Sugeriría comprar en algún lugar al que pueda devolver en caso de que no funcione como se esperaba. La mejor de las suertes.
Wzup DJ Tolley T, I double checked and I only see the option for basic and shift for pages under the NI Controller Editor. Unfortunately, those are the only 2 pages.
@@XFaderz Thats what I figured! Should be still more than enough. You've convinced me to look for a Kontrol F1 haha. Can't seem to find any other midi controller with this kind of form factor.
Hello Brother, just wondering, I use Traktor Pro, does that mean f1 will still use Traktor and as I mix through my software the light will still sync with my music? am mixing this Friday 28!
Wzup Graphix_Lab_2015, sorry for the delay I hope your event went well. I don't think it works with both simultaneously if I am understanding your question. I know Traktor and SoundSwitch is a little different when it comes to setup and I will need to do some research/testing before I can provide a definitive answer.
Awesome Tutorial! Saw this today an got lucky trying to find a used F1 on ebay. Ended up finding a Numark Orbit on ebay, brand new, never used!

@@XFaderz I thinks so unless there have released a new version in the last 4 months and you have to update manually.

With the Kontrol F1 can you access more than one pad page aside from the one the shift button activates?
