She really does look great for this interview and her voice is sublime. On the set she looks like any old schleppy Asian woman. Her features are not at all what you would call beautiful for an Asian woman,but that hair,make-up, dress and the super intelligent sounding voice all combine to give this plain Jane Asian a whole lot of razzle-dazzle. She is tricked out enough to look like an Oriental Empress !
Ed Denoy but like why tf does everyone have to comment on her beauty and how her features aren’t “pretty for an Asian women” like stfu. Also of course when she’s on set she’s not gonna have a full face of makeup on and be wearing a gown! She plays a freakin doctor! How about instead of focusing on her appearance u focus on her damn good acting.

@@vickyhou5315 I liked the woman before her (the one he wanted to move in with.) She was no Christina, but she was likable. It's clear that the doctors need love interests who work at the hospital as well (or who are patients) because it's so much easier there, hence, they couldn't keep her on.

He is trying to be intelligible. Those of us with accents and dialect coaching can control their accent. He can have a very thick Elgin accent, he voiced one of the suitors in Brave. He is speaking to an American, so he adjusts.

Him and Camilla (Jo, who is British) go to some sort of speech expert to make sure that they don't accidentally say their lines in their accents.
Go find "Soap MW2", its the character he voiced, Soap, and his Scottish accent is just eargasm

Ugh she was the best for Cristinas character. I love her and Owen so much. It really was so heartbreaking rewatching greys and seeing their relationship progress. They went through SO much and seeing Owen miss cristina so so so much when she left, really broke my heart. They loved each other so much that whatever came their way they wanted to just be together. I love how Cristina had a picture of her and Owen in her new office. Ugh it's so beautiful. They were so beautiful. Owen, the love of your life is Cristina Yang. Not Teddy.

I might not like Owen for Cristina since he doesn't deserve her because she's amazing and he was just a whiny, gaslighting, and manipulative toxic boy to her. But I still believe that Cristina is his greatest love and the one who got away; their ups and downs really make their bond stronger and more special. After her, everyone is just a substitute for the life that he actually wanted to build with Cristina. His love for her is incomparable and truly special. Cristina will always be that ex-that everybody knows-that had a big impact on him, and she will always be relevant to him; after all, she's his first ever wife. That's why it's a good thing that they were able to maintain their friendship after that separation. Also, it's a good thing that they didn't end up together. They're the definition of the right person but want different things in life. But again, I want to see Kevin & Sandra again soon! ❤🤞🏻🧿

Just because he was in Trainspotting doesn't make him Scottish. No doubt he is Scottish, but it's not "obvious" just because he was in that Iconic Scottish Film. (one of the best films btw)

The way Kevin says yeah like three times, it´s like he is surprised that Sandra said the character has become more like her. It´s like he didn´t see it coming.
I don´t like how Sandra revealed that Kevin wasn´t looking at her, he is so embarrassed she said it, it made him seem as if he were unfocused on the scene while filming, not a nice thing to reveal.Also Kevin seems quite thoughtful when Sandra mentioned the scene with Meredith. I don´t think Cristina has changed at all.She is still the same s in S1. JMHO

I don't think Kevin felt embarrased. I think that they both thougt it was funny. You can't be focused 100% all the time when you are shooting GA. They were propably shooting it the whole day or maybe days and at some point you can feel tired and can' t be focused. I think Cristina has changed after what she's been through (especially in season 6, 8 and 9).

I didn't know he was Scottish xD I just thought he was really good at having that accent when I saw him in Maid of Honor a couple of years ago. XDD If you haven't seen it I recommend it, Patrick Dempsy is in the movie too!
