Well if you think about it they do have some stuff in common thou at least in the beginning Bailey was « the Nazi » and pretty cold / harsh herself and successfull. It would have been interesting to see her in that role instead but I am glad she endef up as Christina since I just am ibsessed with her character

You know I was so sad when Sandra left the show but when I see what road Shonda has taken the show down I'm glad Sandra left before her character got destroyed.
I feel the same about Mark and Lexie. They died, but it was noble, and they died in love. The show now completely appeals to social justice warriors. It's all "this is what a feminist looks like" and "check your white privilege" instead of how it was in the old days. Plus the new characters are trash, All of the relationships are dying (some are literally dying), and all of the good cast members are leaving.
Max O'Hala, you are definitely right. The show has become a propaganda podcast for social justice.

Same I love Cristina, but if she had stayed her character would’ve been ruined. Also, I feel like Sandra’s acting is way too good for what the place the show is at now.
Sandra really acts Cristina SO WELL. She is too talented and funny. And Sandra is the most important reason why I am a fan of GA. Especially, the part of relationship btw Cristina and Owen is so attractive to me.

Even though Burke got fired,he wasn't killed off like Derek or George!Instead he was this successful and brilliant surgeon in Switzerland..His storyline was perfect,he gave Cristina closure in a big way...dare I dream of a spin off for these two...that will be awesome.They are great actors...
Would love a spin off about Christina, but not with Burke. He is happily married and has kids. I would rather see the spin off with Hunt - even though he is married too, I just don't see his marriage lasting ....but they would never end up together because of the kids issue...😔...at least they had closure. Just wanna see Christina again, loved her character! She was my favorite and the only reason why I really watch the show.

I'm watching this in 2020... Christina Yang was the reason I bought a maroon coloured stethoscope (her stethoscope was maroon on the show) when I first started nursing school 5 years ago. I'm one year into being an RN and I still have that same stethoscope with Christina still inspiring me every day! :)
