Thanks for the heads up on these pal. Don't always have time to browse when at Aldi. Fancied a curry on Friday. Got a few bags in today. Will use them as a base.
Glad you put this video up Keith, this sauce is my favourite from this range, used to get in HomeBargains, but they've stopped that particular one. They still do some of the others though including Vindaloo, Saag Masala (my other favourites), Korma, Tandoori, Murg Makhani, Balti, Butter chicken and Tikka masala. Nipped to one of the Aldi's in Stafford after work today and all they had got was.....the chennai Madras (result......stocked up n bought 10 of em , had 1 for dinner...LOVELY). Love the vids mate, keep up the good work.
kohinoor curry sauce is nicer, it has no acidity regulator, so no vinigar after-taste. Its made in India with all natural ingredients. Its dear at £2 per pack, but worth it for me.
Indi Grand curry sauces from Home Bargains are the best ready made curry sauces I've tasted and I've tasted loads over the years. Second only to an Indian takeaway. However *they* are in black pouches that look slightly bigger than these.
like it , ive recently found currys that are exactly the same as indian takeaways ,would love you to review these they are from "East at home" ,you can either by the base sauce and make them from scratch ( love to see you do this) or buy ready made sauce and add meat ,dont need to go to a takeaway ever again they are that good
I've been to homebargains keith & got the sauce mixes indii grand for 99p I've yet to try them but I'm sure they will be tasty as on your review I got vindaloo for hubby I got the tikka masala for myself I can't wait to try them 😋
They sell these in home bargains as well, or at least they did. The butter chicken is delicious. Best prepackaged curry sauce I’ve ever had. You’d never know it wasn’t home made 😂 Never had the others
Look lovely... although anything hotter then a korma you can keep lol... do they do a korma one? also my own personal preference i would of cut the chicken up to smaller chunks
Balti is not a recipe it is the dish it is cooked in and can be any recipe and any heat you prefer, it is any meat and ingredients you include to make a curry and was named from the original immigrants from India that could not bring their wives. Historical note.
Im not a big fan of chicken my fav curry is keema its made with mincemeat and is from Pakistan, and Bangladesh. The term “keema” refers to minced or ground meat its yum 😋
I've tried every curry sauce known to man Keith, even those that claim to be made by restaurants and none taste anything like they are from an Indian restaurant or take away, so now I just order from my favourite places. At the end of the day when you add up the costs of the ingredients and the gas/electric plus your time and effort, the difference is negligible. Love your videos anyway.
I agree. I completely dislike jarred sauces. Though, if you stock up on the basic ingrediants, it’s easy to make a curry at home. The spices can be bought very cheaply from an Indian store and will last you ages if stored correctly. They also sell yoghurt and tinned tomatoes really cheaply as a rule, which are used a lot in Indian curries as a base.
Looked delicious..did you buy the Nan bread from Aldi.? Thank you for sharing..have a fab week ❤xx

Same in home bargains, heron foods etc, made in Tipton! Better than your pataks, nice curry out of a packet 👍
Cheers mate

I get the vindaloo from Home Bargains - it's bloody lovely.
The saag one is pretty damn good too for when you fancy something milder.

Home Bargains have few of the curries in that range, some milder ones too.
Looking good 😊

We do enjoy this range of curries. More authentic flavours than most other supermarkets own ranges. The price is good too.
Thanks for the review.
I get mine from home bargins they don't sell them on tescos there lovely 😊
@@janolafulThanks Jano, I think i've seen them there too. I'll take a look next time i'm in there.

Hi they have this brand curry in sachets in Home Bargains the packaging is different colour but it’s the same product for 99p, we love it 😊
They sell Indi Grand products in Home Bargains. Jars and packets.
Thanks for that Suzanne
Chicken, chicken and chicken then? 😆 nice presentation though
Keith you can get them in home bargains much cheaper than aldi's also there are pickles too in there range
For that challenge I'd just put a half of scotch bonnet in that'll be enough😂😂😂
try the frozen coriander from iceland
The only indian I can tolerate is a Korma lol. Poor excuse lol xx
Korma = babys nappy😳
You have a massive spice rack Keith 😮
200 more subs needed

100% right mate
you are correct and theres not much point doing a review of a takeout in yorkshire or wherever if you live in Brighton.
Have you tried kohinoor curry sauce

@@markshirley01 I have Mark but still didn't think much to it, which flavour would you recommend in that range?
I like the bald foodie guy but he’s not like him he cooks but I can’t understand he’s 10.8k he should be far higher than that
I had this same conversation with another you tuber..he said its all about the algorythems
Had these there rubbish, don't taste like there names use to get them from farmfoods for £1
Balti is hotter then madras?
