It has a display between 1080p and 1440p, and it has an extreme screen door effect, which, to make it easier to explain, is like watching an episode of Invincible, but through a screen door. You can essentially see every pixel and the ones you can’t see that blend into other things have a blue or yellow outline. TLDR; Buy a Quest 2. It’s cheaper and way better.

I just tried it in VR with the wheel for the first time and it's amazing but felt immediately sick going around brands hatch with the big elevation changes, you really feel it in your stomach. It seems like you cant play the actual game in VR though, just these little demo things in their own section which is upsetting
Just change the view to cockpit. Though it’s not exactly like the VR experience mode, it’s really quite good. Crazy when remembering Pole Position and Cruising USA vs. what we have at home now.
for me hitman vr gave me nausea whereas i can play skyrim vr and walking dead saint and sinner with full locomotion for hours with no nausea. i even can handle ace combat vr, not sure why i can only handle himan vr for 20mins XD
That's what I thought too at first. It was really cool playing Dirt Rally in VR, but I got motion sick after 5 minutes. It was sad. But I tried playing for 5 minutes the next day, and, well I still got motion sick, but I also felt a small improvement to my "VR Stamina", but it was still unbearable. The third day I could play upto 10 minutes until it got too bad. The fourth day I could play up to half an hour while feeling only a little sick, but not enough to stop me. The fifth day it was basically gone. I cannot guarantee that everyone will adapt as fast (or slow) as me, but your brain can adapt. My tips for VR racing is to do it everyday. Keep playing until you get motion sick, then take a break, or just quit for the day. There's no point in trying to push yourself at these early stages. Simply sitting racing in VR until you start feeling motion sick should be enough to build VR stamina over time.

I wish you could get behind a Simucube sc2 pro and some Heusinkveld pedals! You would lose your mind! If you plan on keeping that set up I'd HIGHLY recommend getting a load cell kit for your brake pedal, it really is a must have. It converts the pedal to measure pressure (like a real car) instead of distance of travel. I got to say I really enjoyed watching how much you enjoyed that!

Hey! I don't know if you know this yet, but you can drive all cars (minus a few without an interior) in VR! You can either get them via buying from Brand Central or from gifts.
Since playing getting my G29 to go with my PSVR, GT Sport VR tour is the only racing game I play. I don’t even care about how restricted it is. Flat screen gaming doesn’t come close any more. I hope Sony invests in VR with the PS5 as even on a base, 500gb, noisy af, day-1 PS4 the experience is absolutely mind blowing
You should try dirt rally 1.0 in psvr. There's even motion camera options. When it's ON you have to have good stomach for it. Lol. It's fix you view so you literally feel every bump on track. Most insane vr racing experience I ever had
I dont like how the base for the pedals flex like that. Once my frame arrives I hope I dont have to strengthen or prop something solid underneath it. I hope the mounts for the steering wheel & Shifter post doesnt flex either. Same for the seat

IMO This is what VR was made for. Racing games with cockpit view and FPS. I never liked FPS games nor got into them because of that very reason (No VR at the time I was getting into video games). Still liked racing games so got into those. I enjoy TPS games more than FPS but PSVR2 might make me an FPS love hopefully.

Personally the PSVR is a must have. Having just the g29 is a whole lot of fun but add the psvr and it just feels so real. Only downside is once you play with psvr you cannot enjoy the game again without the vr.

@@OfficerFredPowell Oh, the Quest 2 is a standalone headset; it has it's own components and OS. You can hook it up to a PC for SteamVR though.
