You don't need to change the snap to track option to lay straight track. If you hold shift while laying track it will automatically find a straight piece.

Having real difficulty getting two tracks to rejoin. Track join tool seems to like creating a new siding

Help!!!!! I am having issues with 2 of my switches they show they're connected but they aren't connected correctly. The switch has a large rectangle above it and then down where the track is it has the same small square showing it needs fixed. Hope I explained my issue correctly. Also the track usually has the small inner pieces to keep the train from derailing. But mine don't have thise and idk hiw to fix it.

Awesome tutorial. I just have one problem. I can't set crossovers for the main line tracks. Do i need to use a different track?

If the crossover tool isn't working, then your tracks are not parallel (both not perfectly aligned with eachother)

How do I create junctions if both tracks go opposite directions (the yellow arrows don't face the same directions)? How do I change their directions?

Do you mean the direction that traffic is allowed to flow on a given track? You can use select tool to highlight a piece of track and change the Line direction to "Both".

It's so confusing, when i create a rail, it keeps going up and up and up... the curves are too long, impossible to make junctions.

Make sure it's not configured to automatically go uphill or snap to terrain

cActUsjUiCe Bleh :P - making a scenery bothered me, it’s too hard. It’s impossible to make curves, it just lets me straight rails or big curves, unable to make junctions (because I can’t make small curves) and I’ve fixed the rail going up hill!

Hey, I got a question, How do I use turntables? if I place one and connect a rail on them. There is still a buffer on both ends of the rail. Even on the end conecting to the turntable

The track rule contains properties that are applied when you are laying track. It has properties such as minimum curve radius that you can adjust in a text editor. You can do your own research on where to find the track rules and how to modify them. I won't get into that here.
