A simple guide on scenario creation for Train Simulator 2020... In this first guide we'll just make a very basic freight train going from Kingswear to Brixham and add another AI train :)
Thank you so much for these tutorials! The "how 2's" in TS are a bit difficult to find, and some of the manuals for routes or add-ons tend to be vague with certain functions. The detailed instructions in your tutorials are giving me a good grasp on what I need to do. Thanks again.
Almost… yes to an extent, but certain (real life) couplings are different. Putting an American Big Boy with British carriages for example won’t connect up, and likewise, things like Mk3 British carriages won’t connect to most steam trains… but most “normal” combinations are possible. Good example is I do a lot of Hall scenarios. There’s a model of my namesake in one DLC but with a pretty bad tender, so I use the tender from a different DLC, and carriages from a third. Think in real world “what would connect” terms and the answer is yes
From memory, it’s that you’ve ticked “timetable” on a station (in other words told the train to arrive at station number 3 at a certain time) and it’s telling you the train would arrive late at the other stations... Try that, if not I’ll think of something else 🙂
@@z-ulu6657 No problem, hope that sorts it The scenario will still run with times in red, it’s mainly just a warning in case you’ve timed trains to go the other way etc
You can use as many as you like, just enable them… It’s quite a while since I’ve made one, but you could literally select every DLC you have and the engines/carriages will appear I did a scenario a while ago with Hall locos from 3 different DLCs running on a line together… they all work… the only coil of down sides are:- 1 - You quite often find different company’s engines will be slightly different from each other. In the case of the Halls, the nameplates and livery varied considerably 2 - Remembering which engine/carriage came from which DLC because it won’t tell you what you’ve used… that’s only really important if you’re uploading it to the Steam workshop Hope that helps 🙂

Hey, my signals show red instead of green when I want it to be a green aspect. Any way to fix this?

How do you enable a dlc?
do you know how to add Armstrong Powerhouse trains to scenarios as they don’t appear when you’re selecting a train
Honestly, no… I’ve never bought any. I do know Steam Sounds Supreme show up in the regular list so I really don’t know 🙄
