@@macmotuim4403 nah Frank held down the Pizza Show. Some of the best content on First We Feast. Nicole brought the whole Pissa thing, but it does seem she's changed her pronunciation which is good. Some of the time. She still slips up lol. Wait I'm actually trippin .. Frank had his show on Munchies !
Frank Pinello was my whole childhood. I loved all his pizza episodes. I also love Nicole so much. She is so vibrant. This whole episode is so nostalgic but also hip. I enjoy First We Feast so much. You guys make life so bright!
The way that the owners of L'Industrie recognized their employees for playing a major role in the success of the pizzeria was dope. Always nice to see an owner show appreciation and give praise to their employees.
I still watch the Munchies episodes, from 5 or 6 years ago, of The Pizza show with Frank. It's one of those series I come back to yearly. Thanks for this new content, love it!
I went to L'Industrie when they first opened and were just a simple window serving slices. Nick was there serving us and every slice got its own individual attention. From piping the ricotta on the white slice, to the shaved parm and basil to the regular slice. Now they've blown up and couldn't be more deserving. These guys are the best: pizza wise and personality. Also: gotta shout out the homie Frank. He just opened another location near where I live and he's always in there, cleaning the sidewalk, making pies, everything. Guy is a hustler and making amazing classic NY slices.
Love it. I first went to L'Industrie during the first part of the pandemic where restrictions began to ease. It was still kind empty in the area, and Massimo was running it as a one man show. He took my order, re-heated my slices, and rang me up. I avoid Williamsburg at all costs, but this place deserves it's success.
I used to live across the street from L'Industrie. LITERALLY. Literally across the street. Would just go over any time, it was a simple window, I'd put my order and be served in a minute. And then it blew up so that there were lines around the corner and it's like, WHAT IS HAPPENING! But it was so exciting for them and remarkable for me personally to see that shop explode in popularity.
The Pizza Show with Frank was what got me really into pizza. Yeah I ate pizza before, but watching that show gave me a whole new level of appreciation and respect for the people behind the pizza as well as teaching me what pizza can and should be. I’ve since opened my own slice shop and couldn’t be happier in life. Thanks, Frank.
Geo at Luigis is the pizza OG.. from Portnoy's videos how he was just eternally grateful while helping to lead the charge to keep small pizzerias open through covid. absolute rockstar.
Luigis was hands down the best slice I had while in New yirk this past summer. I drove an extra hour and a half to get a couple more slices before heading to the airport to head home. I was staying Secaucus and flying out of Newark. So you know it was good and it was worth it.
This is great! I remember growing up in Brooklyn and me and my cousins use to go into the Pizza shop by my Aunt’s house. The owner knew all of use because we use to go there all the time. It was very old school and authentic…over time you started to see less and less of these pizzerias. I miss those times…it’s good to see that there are still shops like this around…no gimmicks, no glamour..just down to earth, good authentic Brooklyn slices…
As a Brooklyn girl who was practically weaned on pizza, this episode is really meaningful. I haven’t been to any of these places (I live in Manhattan now), but I’d heard of L’Industrie. I’m going to have to check all of them out. Thanks for the inspiration!
@@PapeySapote It’s just not very good. It’s standard corner slice joint, but with a story. That’s all. Everything they use is average, the product is inconsistent, and it’s just not better than any other slice.

"What's the best part of your life sitting at the dinner table with your family, this is my family" that hit too close to home being an 28 and no longer coming home to my sister, dad, and mom to eat around the dinner table what great memories
I’m born and raised in Brooklyn but only discovered Luigis’s a couple of months ago and have been there about 6 times now. Nothing really compares. You’ll get a decent slice of pizza anywhere in Brooklyn but they’re usually very cheesy, gooey, doughy, and dripping with oil. Luigi’s is light, crispy (never burnt), and unbelievably tasty. Di Fara was my go to for amazing pizza until the old man passed a couple of years ago. It’s not quite the same anymore. Luigi’s is undisputed champ for me now.
Sal is the man, he is always bringing the slices you order right to the table. Chops it up with you and just and all around great person. Also the pizza is amazing, im so glad we have something like his pizzeria in South Brooklyn.
I’ve never felt more proud, or luckier to live in Brooklyn. What a town. What incredible pizza we have… And not just the pizza… The people. It’s all about the people first, Pizza next.

As someone who grew up and lived in Sheepshead Bay for the first 22 years of my life, it made me so happy to see not only Sheepshead Bay represented but Brooklyn being the entire focus of the video. Don't get me wrong, there are some insanely good pizza joints all over the boroughs - but Brooklyn as mentioned in the video is the epicenter and never, never got the recognition it deserved. Now at least, people can see how good pizza is in Brooklyn. From higher end spots to the mom n pop spots that have been there for 70 years or something. Just great stuff.
I saw Frank - I clicked SO fast. Without a doubt, he and Brad Leone are two of my favorite food hosts on TH-cam! We need more Frank and his pizza-searching escapades
