Honestly, except maybe Lando if you stretch it, there are no equivalent archetype in the Star Wars universe. Also you got to love the balls on that man, capturing the known leader of one of the 2 superpower at war in the galaxy ! Even admiting he his a Sith Lord...Not scared !! Numbers here !!

This episode is so great. I didn't really like or appreciate it that much when it first aired, to be honest, but this episode has some of the best Anakin/Obi-Wan banter in the entire franchise. Also, It introduces arguably the best character Star Wars animation has ever introduced.
The time has come, the introduction to my favourite new character not only in the Clone Wars, but in all of new Star Wars... I thought he'd be only a one off, a disposable character for the series, but each time he comes back, he gets better, and cooler... I think it is when they decided to create their own original characters (or from comics, non-canon, old canon, or just old movies... not sure where he originated) and with depth and personality (seemingly something that in some series and versions is apparently not important) that this show takes off... anyone who saw Mandalorian and Bo Katan can see what I mean I hope he shows up on Mandalorian season 3 or better in Boba Fett's show

Hondo Onaka is voice by Jim Cummings, the voice of Whinny the Pooh, Tigger, and Pete (Mickey Mouse's antagonist). He's also quite the VA legend, usually voicing smaller roles though. Fun fact: he actually sang about half of "Be Prepared" from the Lion King, after Jeremy Irons (the VA for Scar) blew his voice singing the song.

There's an in-universe reason the Separatist ships tend to be so cavernous. A lot of them are repurposed armed transports the Trade Federation and Techno Union had built before the war. The Lucre-Hulk, the big ball with the ring, was essentially a cargo vessel with a ton of guns slapped on afterwards.
I find it funny that they were talking to Palpatine about the embarrassment at them catching Dooku so easy. That's his apprentice that just got caught by the Star Wars equivalent to Jack Sparrow.

So, one of the things that I think was sorely missing in the prequels was the time around Obi Wan and Anakin's relationship. Most of the time, they are on their separate adventures. Hell, in the Phantom Menace I don't think Obi Wan said a word to him before he promised to train him (good for the drama of Anakin being in a situation where he knows no one, bad for the development of their relationship that Obi Wan muses about in Episode 4). Half the time when they talk about each other in the movies' it's seems like animosity and frustration. Their banter between each other in episodes like this goes a long way to solidify the sort of relationship that they had. Even on the best of terms, they argued, but they argued like an old married couple
