would love to see them do more in universe TV shows like I wanna see a episode of “Watson whore” want to see like a TH-cam style video of maxMike with a guest like a nc legend
Two things, A player character that doesn't have predetermined name. The second would be a silent protagonist or an AI generated voice like some of the new Skyrim mods. I find it annoying that they let you customize the look but you can't give your character the name you want and it's voiced by someone you don't get to choose. Also, voiced protagonist can really cut into how many lines can be written for your character and forces everything to be designed around very limited options. At least with AI voice acting you can get around that in theory and give player an old school CRPG storytelling experience with some form of voiced protagonist.
For me: 1. Knocked out enemies can be woken up again by friendlies (making it so there's more risk involved if you want to go non-leathal) 2. Not so much bigger enemy HP bars, but better tech at high level. More implants, more drones and mechs, better tactics. 3. Watch BDs, visit Dolls, call a taxi to to ride you around town. 4. More use for money. Once you got the best guns and implants you're kinda done. Maybe buy a garage for all your cars, buy furniture, become a Platinum Trauma Team member and have them actually help you out when you get knocked out. Almost like a "Second Chance" mechanic. 5. NPC citizens not going crazy whenever you slightly bump into their car. Maybe more reactive NPCs like ones trying to preform CPR after a crime. 6. Customizing your vehicles. Put decals on your cars, put spoilers, nitro boosters, all that fun stuff.
"1. Knocked out enemies can be woken up again by friendlies (making it so there's more risk involved if you want to go non-leathal)" Ah, so much like in Baldur's Gate 3. Great suggestion.
Regardless of what they choose to do with Orion, I just want another memorable story to escape into again. Everything about the first game is a work of art, but Cyberpunk stuck with me because of its story and characters, and that's all I could ask for in the next game. ❤
Agreed. The story and characters really set this game apart. TBH I hope the specifics of gameplay and environment don't change too much...They don't need to change to tell a new story.
i think this can tie in with the romance options, i dont explicitly want sex when it comes to those kinds of things, but i fully support having more romance options, because JUDY MAKES ME FEEL THINGS
So far I have gotten that Tez does indeed know CDPR, they watch every single one of his videos. This is also a list of 20 things that will definitely be in the game. And in fact, is not a wish list; but indeed a guaranteed reality. It’s ok to get carried away about it, there is no chance that these exact things are not happening.
My two requests are simple and I believe viable. Similar to Skyrim, Fallout, Starfield, I would like a select character on the load game menu. Essentially sandboxing my characters rather than a massive list of saves. Avoiding the concern of deleting my level 60 Judy save, lol. Secondly, I really want the next game to maintain a level of vagueness about V. Maintaining an aura of mystery about them. Example: I heard SHE stopped the malfunction of Delamain. Well, I heard HE dominated the underground fight scene.
Agreed. CP77 is exactly as DEI as it needs to be, and if it becomes a character focus, it would be too much. Keep in mind that there is a tiny minority of people who will _never_ be satisfied, and have very loud voices.
Since they made it so scary in PL i hope the Blackwall & rogue AIs plays a bigger part in the main story. & this one is a personal want but i hope the next game has a crew rather than being a solo, itd be cool if you chould choose your role in the gang rather than V being good at everything
I think my biggest request is some kind of arena mode. I’m tired of fighting max tac or constantly reloading dont fear the reaper when I want to take a break from story and just want to enjoy the gameplay and stress test my build without the world getting in the way.
Try the border crossing, for a little variety in the meantime that's a great area to test a build. Not quite as punishing as MaxTac but constant spawn localised in one area.
I actually like riding the bikes in first person and driving 3rd. But some 3rd person cuts scenes will be sick. I love this game, and i would one day liie to see an online open world of it. Great video choom.
When I think we make a Netrunner more interesting is if you had a whole blackmail system where manipulate fractions a main characters into doing what you want maybe some of them don't know who you are I know I'm shooting for the Moon but it's fun to dream
There's at least one Fixer side job like this...there could be more, more elaborate ones. Something not mentioned in the list is _companions_ ...it might be interesting [and have a bearing on Karma or whatever] if side characters are somehow coerced into cooperating with our protagonist.
You could have one of your companions be the one that handles the data for you or opens it up I was envisioning more like currency you have it on your personal server you can sell it to whoever you want to be more like a repeatable activity in the open world William Red Dead Redemption 2 the steal wagons and sell them
When it comes to hijacking and hacking a trauma team vehicle I think it would be interesting if you could sell the data to fixers I also think it would be interesting if you could keep the vehicle somehow and also be able to disable or manipulate the tracker to give a false location
Ok my number one Wish for Cyberpunk Orion: - is to be able to Play a Male, that is able to have Hetero s. Relationships! (Just like Cyberpunk 2077) And with out that opion present, i can confidently say that im not going to buy the Game no matter how good it is. OTHER than that, two things: The game should try to become a little more like Witcher 3. Espacially the Dialoge, cinematic 3rd Person view Dialoge would be great, for combat and world exploration, we could than switch back into 1rst Person. The Story of Witcher 3 is also way better and im not even a Fantasy fan. And than let us Visit a Place outside of the US, maybe Mexico, South America, Asia whatever. Not completly but maybe just a little Town or City. You know expanding the Universe. (I dont mean Cyberspace with that) Lastly who ever wrote the Story for the Witcher 3 DLC Hearts of Stone (Gaunter o' Dimm), please let him Cook something out for C. ORION.
Thanks for your measured words Tez. There's a lot of hate being thrown around at any media with any queer characters and the smoke screen of "it's woke politics ruining stories" gets used. But there's a lot more nuance to these stories and characters. You spoke well to that effect. But hey, I'm 30 so i guess I'm too old for senseless fighting over video games and would rather enjoy things.
No worries. It's one complex subject and I have very nuanced and mixed opinions about it myself. So many people on both sides of the debate are far too polarizing and don't want to hear reasoned "middle-ground" opinions, I appreciate the feedback, thanks. :)
Spot on end there. When I see the FUD surrounding the new Ghosts game I appreciate the take "go away you're not welcome here" but also the take that adding in more plot around gender and right v left is also unwelcome. Appreciate the work you put into the whole vid but especially that last bit
Surprised better hacking didn't make the list. I found the hacking in 77 to be a bit uninteresting. And it could be great! I mean, everyone is walking around with a computer in the head essentially, V having a computer/radio/TV in his apartment makes no sense. The world should reflect the tech level. City adverts should be beamed directly into your visual field, you should be able to ICE yourself against that sort of stuff easily, but enemy's hacking you should require a special build or equipment to evade. If you are not an int build yourself, you should need to hire someone like TBug to protect you remotely or need buy expensive programs from seedy zero day hackers to run on your cyberware. Your own hacks should have a bit more thought to them too, or they will just get neutralized. Maybe something like Path of Exiles skills that can be modified with different supports. Trojans. Viruses. Anything besides press button to fry enemy. Also, character specific quests, I was disappointed when I did Nix quest and just got more of the same hacks I already had.
Actually me too, not one person mentioned it by the time I began recording. VERY interesting, and yeah, what you outline sounds insanely good! How are you doing anyway buddy? Hope you're well.
(Bear with me I always do a backstory to get to my point) So I first got introduced to cyberpunk through the anime, after watching it all and someone telling me there's a game, I watched a bit of gameplay and loved it so I bought the game. Fastforward to ending the game and getting into mods, I find out about this thing called e3 2018 i think, and I do some digging to get to this cool trailer where netrunning isn't a cheap choose the right order game but rather this fleshed out digging into the net and inserting hacks and idfk, I NEED THAT IN ORION!!
I was surprised to hear you are 45, I figured you would be more around your late twenties - early thirties. Anyway, that was an immaculate video. Subbed. One thing I would like to add more strongly when it comes to AI is the driving AI. The CPU AI for driving in CP2077 is laughably horrible. GTA V from 2013 was light years ahead of it. I love and mod Cyberpunk to this day actively and thoroughly enjoy it, it is one of my all-time favorite games, but the driving AI literally "drives" me nuts. First of all, not AI related but still worth mentioning, I hate how traffic lights magically turn green whenever I approach them, insane immersion breaker. Second of all, I use a mod to counteract traffic lights turning green whenever you approach them, arguably it does not work that well with CP2077 AI but is still better than the vanilla alternative. If I don't move back or forth with my car/bike every 15-20 seconds or so, the AI will just ram into me and start speeding away like crazy into incoming traffic. I also can't count how often I was walking through the city or slowly driving along in my car enjoying the music when multiple cars just start crashing into each other like completely insane people for no reason at all (No gang activity or anything like that, just the AI freaking out). This needs to URGENTLY be fixed in the sequel. In my humble opinion, CP2077 biggest flaw when it comes to immersion. I pray we get these modding tools from CD Projekt Red rather sooner than later, so we can fix problems like that...
Do you know what, I never in 1000 hours noticed that about the traffic lights 😂 I'm always driving about like a lunatic never obey them. That's definitely something they should look at, that and the driver AI, great point, they did make steps in the right direction with 2.0, so more of a that please! Thanks for watching and subbing, really glad you enjoyed it.
I actually have just one request: don't close of places you've been already in. Make them live again. Like the hotel from the first act. Or any special location afterwards. Make them visitable again. Make NPC live in them again depending on what happened earlier. Bethesda does pretty good job at that. Do the same. Everything else is almost perfect. More of the same please.
Gang/corp rep would be a good thing - so in a mission where you have to side with a faction (eg The Pickup where you choose either Maelstrom or Militech) this would have implications further down the line. Some of the Fallout games did this pretty well. I have a few pet peeves with 2077 though, such as being forced to use certain weapons at certain points in the game (eg when you are in the motel room after the parade, why are you holding a crappy tier 1 shotgun when you almost certainly have far better weapons available?) And don't get me started on being forced to use Panam's awful car gun while she screams at me when I'm playing a sandy swordsman or a netrunner. (On that note, I hate being forced into certain clothes in the endgame - say I'm playing a V with a signature colour, or one who likes snappy suits, and I have no option but to put on those awful clothes in V's penthouse during the Sun ending. Let us keep our own wardrobes. It is style over substance, after all).
Things I want to see: 1. New Game + option where currency, abilities, unlocks, weapons, clothing, levels, etc. carry over. 2. More atractive female NPC characters like Aurora and make them romancable. 3. Don't make it woke. I've seen Dragon age Veilguard and they ruined the Dragon age franchise, hopefully CDProjekctRed doesn't become a woke company with an agenda that's a fast track to lose an audience. 4. Be able to return to past mission locations rather than locking it up after. For completionist we want to return and gather all the items in the area that was initially missed. ie) Players glitching in Konpeki Plaza to get missed items like the Iguana Egg. 5. More Save slots. 20 isn't enough. Make save slots similar to Skyrim and have it organized by multiple created characters rather than 1 stream. 6. More advertisement variety. After playing in Night City for too long, seeing the same ads lack variety. 7. A way to revisit or replay previous cutscenes. Like the player can go back and remember past events review the old cutscenes. 8. Do not lock an ending behind a stupid dialogue choice. Players will have regret after investing many hours into a game save.
what I would really like to see is a finished story with every character fully developed and curated. I think that should be at the top of their list. For example, it would be good to see your romance options develop over time instead of just after 2 quests. For multiplayer, it's a tall ask but it would be cool if multiplay is not multiple Vs. instead have it co-op where one player plays V and the other plays Jackie or something like that. That means multiple narratives. I can't even imagine what that story tree would look like.
For real, you can't see the wood for the trees with people throwing out the baby with the bathwater. Woke inserts and politics exist, but CDPR haven't indulged in it so far. For example, it was Netflix that made Jaskier Bi, not CDPR, they always respected the source material. CP2077 is a perfect example of inclusion done the right way.
@@StuGamePlus to be fair, I can't think of too many games I have recently played that have indulged in the stuff some of these people are ranting about. Baldur's Gate 3 has plenty of inclusion and representation, but I don't hear anyone yelling that its "woke". It almost feels like these claims of "wokeness" are massively overstated, and largely made by people who don't actually play video games.
Halfway paused comment: Actually liked your rent about Ai a lot. You could do long-format videos on topics like that, incorporating Cyberpunk 2077 for your audience base, but also talking about the state of systems (Like here AI) and look at different example. This section in the video made me think and you are totally right. Some sort of unlocking needs to happen there. Continuing the video ;)
I can't wait for someone to make that AI leap so we can talk about something other than "wow look at those graphics" lol. Thanks buddy, glad you're enjoying.
@@StuGamePlus i will for sure i just released my first mod if you'd like to check it out the video is kind of meh but it explains what it does and shows how to install it
Haven't watched the entire list, yet, but my needs for Orion remain pretty much the same:
1. Really lean into the ROLEPLAY aspects of an RPG, by having your Attributes and Lifepath Choices having a bigger impact on the outcomes on Gigs, Side Missions and Main Story Missions-especially with regards to dialogue-resulting in multiple potential endings in every case (these mechanics crop up every so often in CP2077, and most particular in the Expansion, but need to be dialled-up to 11 in Orion).
2. I also want to see Lifepaths factoring into Character Creation in multiple, significant ways-bonus attribute point(s) (like Tech for Nomad, Body for Street-kid & Intelligence for Corpo), a bonus starting Perk and/or Unique Perk and maybe even a unique piece of equipment or weapon, and multiple unique Gigs/Missions peppered throughout the Main Story.
3. More immersive vendors and bartenders throughout whatever city we’re in and, as a side note, more accessibility to the buildings within said city. 4. More Cyberware options-like Scratchers, Fangs and Wolvers, as well as more cosmetic cyberware.
These things alone would make the sequel even more awesome than the original game IMHO.
Multiplayer. I don't know if you said that in the video, but some aspect of multiplayer would be amazing. Maybe in a separate "world" than the "campaign/story" like in GTAV, but some aspect of being able to see others or play against/with your friends would be amazing. Imagine you're hired for a defense gig and you (maybe toggleably) get to fight another player who has an assassination gig? That would be amazing to me.
Modular apartments would be cool too, being able to "renovate" your home, basically just switching out different parts with presets, but it would add a little diversity to your living areas, other than just having 30 different homes around town.
Being able to associate yourself with/join a faction, like gangs or a nomad group, and be able to get specific clothes/vehicles/missions/weapons/cyberware based on the faction, being able to betray them and have them start hunting you as well, or also being able to make your own. While I'm there, being able to start your own business from a few options, and either use it as an actual business or a front for something illegal. Maybe if you have enough money you should be able to purchase some plot of land and build your own megatower if you get there... Orion is coming with the newest technology, and I know my ideas are big asks, but there are games that have done this sort of thing well. Being able to become some sort of billionaire, at least in your campaign world, and start corpo-ing out if you really want to be, would be so cool to me...
It's gonna be a LONG 5-6 years... Really wish it were possible to continue developing content for 2077 while the new one is made, but oh well I guess! I just recently bought a nice PC and switched to that from PS5. Main reason being I REALLY missed the pre-2.0 version of the game. Playing the old patches now I only miss air dash, radio port and Phantom Liberty. Maybe Im in the minority, but I love the crafting system, being able to pick up a common tier weapon with Legendary attributes, the weapon and character leveling system and even the attributes / perks system. I get why they changed some stuff, but man could you eventually become a borg in this game!
It's going to be one heck of a wait. Maybe if I can become a big TH-camr I might get a nice early hands-on. I mean it's on my top 10 reasons for doing this job.
Endgame: Procedurally generated Fixer Gigs, after you've done them all. The interiors and threads from old Gigs could be used and the game rolls a dice and mashes different assets together and Boom! Endless Fixer Gigs.
Evolving gang territories that the player can influence by working with certain gangs thus changing or unlocking certain quests, making them easier or harder. Like you have a quest to do but before you can do it you need to help a certain gang grab a foothold in a particular region of the city
Ngl i would just like more cyberware customization, youre telling me its possible in this universe to have foldable blades come out of the side of your arms but NOBODY has wolverine claws? And ofc cybernetic body parts, like a robotic arm, robotic legs, stuff like that, stuff that wont give you a buff (unless they also go with stuff like double jump cybernetics having visual changes) just a visual customization And this is the most out there thing but i think having usable mechs would be awesome, like the cyber skeleton from edgerunners, the balancing would be almost impossible but its just a thing id like to see
Would love more lore content on stuff shown in Cyberpunk but not fully explained. The Blackwall, Rogue AIs, Mr. Blue Eyes and the whole Ai controlled blue eyed people etc! and even what the data crash was like in a flashback or something.
I hope for more, new Lifepaths as well. And more variation between what effect Lifepaths have. Playing a different lifepath should be a somewhat new experience in the game.
@@r1pbuck I agree I don't think the life paths should follow the same exact storyline after the intro mission like 2077 like a corp shouldn't be doing street kid work
When it comes to romance overhaul I'd love it if the quest with your partner of choice could be much longer. Haven't played Balder's Gate 3 but apparently those romances can last for like the entire story from what I've heard. To me it personally feels like with Panam's quest the conclusion to her story came much too quickly, like Saul just suddenly being like "you're right, my bad, let's work together". I was hoping there was gonna be a borderline civil war and you could help play the mediator and negotiate with the sides, or Saul is revealed to be a traitor, or whatever. Maybe partners can also be tied in to a follower system and they can have comments on conversations you have with others [like with party members in Mass Effect whenever they tag along] or if not when you visit each other you can tell them what you've been up to [any time a new major quest is finished you can give them the abridged version] and they can share their thoughts, and they can tell you what they've been up to and you can share your thoughts right back. Just more dialogue for sure after their quest is done with.
I really don’t want any sort of online / multiplayer in the next game. I could rant but I won’t. CDPR stick to what you’re clearly amazing at and what we love you for… Bethesda
Indeed, be careful what you wish for. People thought they wanted an online Multiplayer version of Fallout.....and look what we got 😆. "Sixteen times the detail".
well chooms.. Imagine V (your old character from 2077) in Johnny's shoes, cast away with a psycho-personality on a bio chip you either have to find, earn or something else to gain BACK the character/stats you worked for in CP2077 as a quest/side quest
Thank you for another great video, and perfectly timed as I'm just beginning another run through Night City (though modded to allow my V to do most of the things we're all hoping for in CP77 Pt.2). Your videos always leave me with a deeper appreciation of the incredible world the devs at CDPR have gifted us. Still looking for that graffiti tribute to Jackie in The Glen (or maybe Heywood) .... I'll find it one day!
Your list is spot on. To expand photo mode I want an in game instant replay with 3rd person. If si pull off an aerial knife throw headshot I want to replay it in 3rd person and share the video. And pause it and take photos mid air.
A well-done video, even if I don't agree with everything, I can't argue that there's a lot of good ideas here. And the people who say X is "woke" think anything that conflicts with the worldview they've bought into from those who have monetized anger and fear. Mike Pondsmith has been far ahead of the curve for many years.
Thank you! I try to stay centered. There's no denying there are disingenuous people in the industry on both sides that are milking this whole thing for everything it is worth. There are definitely people who have legitimate concerns that get swept away by using the word woke though, through flames fanned by "shock jocks" they go deep down the rabbit hole. On the flip side I bet not a single one of the people making the most quick-money from DEI side of things even know who Sidney Poitier was and what he already did for entertainment.
Dude the character creator was mid at best. It definitely needs a huge upgrade in the next game. Like heights, weights, body types, actual visible Cyberware options that the NPCs get that the player can't even obtain. I would have loved to be a big buff solo like Jackie or one of those Sumo Arasaka guys. but Nooo you get the one size fits all, no muscle tone basic bitch V. and don't get me started on the clothes and vehicles that rando NPCs can have that V can't .
I agree when it comes to bodies I guess I was just referring to faces. With the variety of clothes I can see why they didn't do it though. Pretty intensive element programatically making all the clothing work. Don't forget they went from Geralt who was 1 body model.
All you have to do is go down the list of body mods on Nexus to see what people want. Maybe the more extreme body types would have only a very limited selection of clothing? [Kind of like real life...]
Fallout 4 was far better in that regard - you could change your character's build using sliders. But yeah, both male and female V look as though they haven't seen the inside of a gym, despite there being one on the floor below.
Every game character creation should be a morph feature at this point not a select tab of options dragons dogma 2 nailed it somewhat saints row got it right besides the trash remake so yea i want a morph vs selectable trash
Fun fact: furries have been canon in the cyberpunk series IRL since 1992 via the Chromebook 2 supplement. The book also introduced full body conversions as well
Thanks choom, I had no idea we could get the actual CP rulebook from owning a copy of the game. I am going to download that as soon as I get home. Great video. CP is one of my favorite fictional universes.
I love the idea of having your own gang especially if you could have your own version of Dogtown or you would have abandoned megastructure in my mind I forgot to be tolerant you have to make the right friends Lakeland the help the paralysis playing into a reputation / bribery system
ESPECIALLY IF THEY MAKE MEGA BUILDINGS ACTUALLY FULLY EXPLORABLE, when you take one over you could fully customize it, add shops and shit, sleeping quarters for people that work for you, that kinda stuff, you need to make money to buy all this stuff which would also add gang missions, like massive gigs where you and your gang attack a militech transport, would also add more use for the street cred thing, the more cred you have the more people and stronger people would want to work for you
I just looked up images of a real life Mega building I would love to capture the greatness of that I love the idea of it being explorable and customizable in my mind depending on where the mega buildings located what affect how much you can get away with it without bribing someone if it's in the middle of Pacifica or the Badlands who's going to put the effort to stop you before it's too late but if it's closer the government or corporate controlled civilization then you need to have more of a bribery system and make the right friends so you can customize the outside of the building too and when you mention robbing a militech transport that made me think of the reputation system who won the rap battle transport did you do it on your own accord these things could have different consequences of benefits and maybe someone tips you off about the transport with the military maybe he escapes and comes to live in the mega building I think that would be a neat little feature
Two features I like to see is the the ability to store stolen vehicles white trauma team vans sell their data and repurpose and customize them and net running Farms
One thing I’d love to think of is what actor should take the roll of someone like Morgan black hand. I feel like he is gonna get the Johnny/Keanu treatment and have a celebrity performance and I’m for something like that. Part of me would like to see John Bernthal take the mantle but I’m curious who would if anyone
NIKO!!! IT'S BRUCY BABE!!!! Loved that shit. Shame that no one picked that feature further. With the game that have NPC's that u friends with or romancing hanging with them only in cutscenes is GTA Vice City lvl. I'm glad u brought this up and analyzed feedback. Thank u for the video sir ❤
“its already what you call woke” Thank you, and thats not a bad thing stories and games can have progressive and perceived woke agendas and still be great… the first 6 star wars(anit american imperialism), star trek(socialist society), Bladerunner and the matrix all pillars of science fiction all “progressive” ideas- i mean come on guys most of these works were made by big hippies- BUT ultimately you cant win because even the new gta 6 was called woke😂 why? because women😪
@@pm.meowth4850 woke has really lost its meaning. It's really just thrown at anything that doesn't include what one specific person wants. Black people, woke. Women, woke. Gay people, woke. Like damn just play the game
15:07 There should be those sex based limitations though. It makes a lot of sense to me that people have their preferences, made the characters feel more human and natural. Unlike in a lot of other games like FO4 or the mass effect games where all characters are universally bisexual when it comes to the player character. I was pleasantly surprised actually when I tried to hit on Judy as a male V (Didnt know she was lesbian, just knew you got the maxtac gear from her) and it wasn't even an option. Made her feel more like a real person.
@@ambientoblivion I get where you ask for relatability, but we're playing in a fantastical future where people literally inject themselves in cybernetic enhancements and eat synthetic meat. We don't was realistic weapons, joytoys, or cars. We want futuristic and fantastical experiences to escape to. Also, in a future where people don't question changing out their organs for artificial ones, we think the same chooms being more bicurious, even with our awesome protagonist so far fetched?
@@DMLoosey I wouldn't say so. Based on the existing data, sexual preference heavily relies on the brain. No matter how much one replaces from the body, the brain still plays a big role in that area. Even gym girls injecting testosterone in their system still stay within their sexual preference. With all that said, I'm referring to relatability, which refers to the player. If I play as a straight male and this female only likes females, I would be able to relate to it in real life, which adds more depth to this character as opposed to everyone just aggreeing to be romanced like a typical Mass Effect NPC.
@@ambientoblivion Sure. I get wharlt you're saying but sexual preference is such a variable factor when taking into consideration cultural affects. Sexuality is not the same in the developed world as it would be in developing countries for example. Yes, there are genetic components, but let's not ignore cultural pressures as well. You can't compare a person from our reality, yourself, to a fictional fantastical character that not only has altered brain chemistry from the synthetic food they eat but also by the sheer fact they live in an augmented reality where the line between biological and cybernetic is intertwined. Additionally, I am not saying to specifically have the binary of straight or gay, but instead some fluidity of even a straight person considering having a relationship with a person if they are famous enough or in a more pansexual kind of way. Doesn't even have to be all the characters, but I believe Larian does a good job with this in BG3.
Idea: the game detects your 2077 files so you can choose which one of you’re v’s you have made to be a fixer in the game (goes with the pl ending with imo is canon)
Actually, I just want more options on character's creation. 😂 Example character's height, I just wanna create a chibi character. 😄 Nice to have you back. 😊
the enemies can also be pretty static when attacking them i kinda hope it becomes more like gta read dead or dying light edit: also it takes place in california game needs more homeless people
Homelessness is crazy right now in Ireland too. World's gone mad. As someone who's been there although only for a short period, I don't wish it on anyone... Except NPCs. 😆
Multiplayer co play of course but add npc gangs to city too we just don’t have to fight our friends and other players but fight npc gang members to walking around city run into gangs either kill them or run like hell lol bring a character along with you of your choice like Johnny sliverhand, Jackie Welles, Kerry eurodyne, Judy, Panam, songbird, reed, and even gang members from the game and more, go alone or have them at your side fighting with you , have the music playing during the game, have Jackie Welles pistols those are badass guns and Johnny sliverhand gun too and the inferno katana, our character we already built and made on cyberpunk 2077 transfer our character over to Orion we have our guns items and so on. And we can be other characters as well in game not just our character and romance one of the characters you bring along with you romance in game or romance flirt with npc on the game
I like every idea in this and we shouldn’t be able to only buy apartments but we should also be able to buy like houses or mansions like the houses you see out in Arrayo or like Kerry mansion or something and be able to customize them and the romance options like have the option of them moving in so when you walk into your house or apartment they are there doing something or if they go out they get in a car and drive away not vanish into thin air same and more interaction options not just romance options but with like friends or characters along the way be able to hang out with them drove them around just more options like gta 4 where you can take your date and have them go bowling or to a bar or a club I like all of those to as a option and I’ve had so many story ideas for the next one
Great video, top stuff. Nothing much to add, but I do think CDPR could take a bit of inspiration from their Czech neighbours Warhorse, with what they did with Kingdom Come Deliverance and what they are going to do with KCD 2. KCD isn't a perfect game and the steep (initial) learning curve turns away a lot of new players, but it's the most immersed I've felt in a game since Cyberpunk. The NPCs have day / night cycles, the woods feel so real and it's got great / characters and story. They did KCD on a shoestring, so am very hyped for the sequel.
WB games has a patent on the Nemesis system, so you can forget about that ever existing in other games. Since NC is already such an amazing game world, they should just flesh it out in the next game. More building interiors, finish off blocked off areas, an underground system, and greatly expand the Badlands. I want to just go on an adventure and find things out there, you know to take a break from the city life. Give the option to just live in the world and go about daily activities without this looming reminder of your impending doom so you better jump on the main missions. Some of these items have already made it to your list so glad to see I'm on the same wavelength.
@@StuGamePlus That's true, but you have to wonder why nobody else has dared to do something similar. I'm by no means clued up with law, but if you read the patent, there doesn't seem to be much wiggle room to work around it. An interesting topic for discussion. Have you thought about doing a vid on it?
Sadly, there will not be a Nemesis system. Whoever made that Lord of the Rings game put a patent on it, so no one else can use that system for another 10 years or so. It includes sustained damage to enemies who come back at a later date and who can go up and down in rank depending on player actions.
Another thing I think may be missing from the new game would be Johnny Silverhand / Samurai. At least I think now that Refused (Samurai in-game) just announced they are disbanding, not sure how they would be able to expand on the lore of both Johnny and Samurai as a whole without at least a few new tracks. I listen to the Samurai songs outside the game because they're honestly all bangers, but it would make no sense to re-use them. But if they do somehow have Keanu on-board for the new game I'd love some kind of announcement sooner than later. CDPR picked the right band for sure to play as Samurai...but I think it'll be super hard to make new music that vocally is anywhere near what Refused's vocalist did on the tracks we have now.
Honestly I think this is a great reminder that people DON'T know what goes into a good game. You note how silly a few suggestions are. Thank god your subs aren't making Orion. MORE romance, ALL buildings have interiors, MORE voices, MULTIPLAYER, V as a FIXER, 7 different openings!!! That said, more extensive interiors, and more interiors that you have a reason to navigate more than once, would be great. The megabuilding idea was a good one. So was the BD-scrolling one. Seems like it would be a great chain of quests like epistrophy or beast in me.
Things i want for the sequel: 1. Make sure the story this time is easy to understand like Mass Effect 2. Make sure the cutscenes where you interact with NPC's is in 3rd person to make it believable 3. No exposition dumps mostly because it bored me to death
From my personal experience, games that try to do a mix of 3rd and 1st person tend to make neither perspective look or feel particularly good. I'd be more than happy if they stuck to their guns and kept Orion 100% in first person-with the exception of vehicle use.
I mean Rockstar and Bethesda have been doing both for a long time, but I see your point, as an example COD FPS would be better than GTA or Rockstar FPS, and say Uncharted or GOW 3rd person would be better than Skyrim for example. Yeah interesting, I hadn't thought of that, but if anyone can pull it off the Reds can. The Witcher 3rd person is great, they should be able to bring across that know-how.
The same here. Usually i like 3rd person games more, but I love Cyberpunk that its 1st person, makes the game more immersive, even cut scenes in 1st person, made the game more rpg. Never interrupts the gameplay whit cut scenes from 3rd person, gameplay is more seamlessly. And in the endings, when u see ur V for the first time in 3rd person makes more special for me.
Cyberpunk has always felt more focused on the difference between social class and tribes. People are essentially living on apocalypse conditions, "are you in the group or out the group," they couldn't care less about sexual or gender orientation, race or anything else. When "people" like Adam Smasher exist, is it really hard to believe someone like Claire exists? Would you even bat an eye? It's not out of place and that makes it totally fine. I don't care so long as it doesn't become overbearing and the main focus, like you said. Other than that sadly relevant stuff out of the way, I just really want to be able to make cybernetics more visible on character models, that and more varied body types. I really wanted to make a beefcake of a man with a massive ass shotgun, someone more Jackie-esque, the first game tragically didn't really allow that. 3rd person would make this even better.
Would be very interesting if they did the choice transfer to see how your choices affected the world from cp2077 to Orion just like how they do it in the walking dead games from telltale. But that would probably be too much work for the story.
If honestly prefer a continuation to Vs story. Picking up where he left off. The circumstances depending on the ending. Or maybe something like the main character being an engram of V in a cloned body. And one of the main subplots is the new V trying to figure out what happened to the original. Again, the circumstances depending on the ending you chose for the first game. Could even work with the suicide ending. We know Arasaka can create engrams from dead people. Maybe the new V could be the a result of them perfecting that technology
I think for the most part everything that was mentioned is what most players want to see. There are certain things that obviously can't be done or over done and I suppose that's where the modding community comes in with the cyberware and better clothing and whatnot. I have 900 plus hours into this game and every playthrough I find little things i missed the first few times which show the great lengths CD Project Red went to make such an immersive world. That being said it would be nice to go sit down at a bar and have a drink or go eat dinner or just hang out at a club with a bit more interaction. The vendors are a bit irritating as well because no matter if you buy or sell they act like you haven't done anything and blew them off with their comments. Even some of the Rippers do that as well. Third person option would also be great at certain moments and I agree with wanting to see romance options being fleshed out a bit more. They added a lot in with 2.0 but sadly it becomes repetition. I would be great to meet your significant other for drinks or at a club. As far as the future goes I would love to see V return in a minor role in some way. Fixer would be fabulous through it might be hard to do considering whether you played V as a male or female character to begin with. Still it would be nice to see V mentioned as one of the Legends like Morgan Blackhand...ect. Even with all the little flaws Cyberpunk is one of the most fantastic games I have ever played and Night city or Dogtown whichever you prefer is like a world of it's own and there is beauty in every part of this world they created. Even in the muck, the advertising, the characters, its all fantastic. Thanks for doing the videos you do and putting the communities thoughts out there for CD Project Red to see. 👍
Couldn't agree more about the game. And yeah, until we get that leap in AI, unfortunately any developer could cram it to the gills but after 1000 hours it's going to end up repetitive at some point, but we'll get there for sure. And you're welcome. Was my pleasure to make.
More than just two LMGs, and if you're going to model bipods at least let us go prone! Crossbows and compound bows, yes please. Wearable ripperdoc gauntlets, custom _visually obvious_ cyberware, techhair, night vision kiroshis and luminous tattoos.
A few things I’d like is improved blood/gore like I just cut someone’s arms off then stabbed him where’s the blood splatter or even drip like in the new dead island. Be pretty cool. C4? Rocket launcher? I wanna blow up some walls. Smoke bombs let me be Batman! Grapple hook cyberwear?shotgun cyberwear? Or even a crossbow cyberwear for stealth? More of a sprawling perk tree. Hoverboard? And last one more visual changes to my character with cyberwear like turn my ass into Adam smasher with cyberwear or potentially do some spider like legs or something or atleast darth maul from the tv show.
Wouldn’t mind being able to switch builds to change up for the given situation. I’m on a “body” build right now and stealth demands are virtually impossible.
Well, Chooms... did I miss anything? Thank you all for your feedback, hope I covered everything!
would love to see them do more in universe TV shows like I wanna see a episode of “Watson whore” want to see like a TH-cam style video of maxMike with a guest like a nc legend
There are some people that are just never going to be happy and always find something that they hate. There's no fixing that.
I'd really like for my netrunner V to get a (or a suite) of drones that they can control remotely.
I want my own flathead or something like that
wall running with mantis blades equipped
Two things, A player character that doesn't have predetermined name. The second would be a silent protagonist or an AI generated voice like some of the new Skyrim mods. I find it annoying that they let you customize the look but you can't give your character the name you want and it's voiced by someone you don't get to choose. Also, voiced protagonist can really cut into how many lines can be written for your character and forces everything to be designed around very limited options. At least with AI voice acting you can get around that in theory and give player an old school CRPG storytelling experience with some form of voiced protagonist.
For me:
1. Knocked out enemies can be woken up again by friendlies (making it so there's more risk involved if you want to go non-leathal)
A modest and excellent viewpoint. I humbly agree.
Agreed. The story and characters really set this game apart. TBH I hope the specifics of gameplay and environment don't change too much...They don't need to change to tell a new story.
Exactly what I was going say!!!!
i think this can tie in with the romance options, i dont explicitly want sex when it comes to those kinds of things, but i fully support having more romance options, because JUDY MAKES ME FEEL THINGS
@@wilbysot343mid
So far I have gotten that Tez does indeed know CDPR, they watch every single one of his videos. This is also a list of 20 things that will definitely be in the game. And in fact, is not a wish list; but indeed a guaranteed reality. It’s ok to get carried away about it, there is no chance that these exact things are not happening.
You mother fu....😂 I have to go and clean tea off my keyboard now.
Agree with the former. And I guess for the latter it'll be they/them pronouns.
Keep em comin. And perfect take on the "Touchy Subject"
Thanks!
Me too, I think this would be key to story continuation
You gotta shoot for the moon, choom, it's how we get into orbit.
There's at least one Fixer side job like this...there could be more, more elaborate ones. Something not mentioned in the list is _companions_ ...it might be interesting [and have a bearing on Karma or whatever] if side characters are somehow coerced into cooperating with our protagonist.
You could have one of your companions be the one that handles the data for you or opens it up I was envisioning more like currency you have it on your personal server you can sell it to whoever you want to be more like a repeatable activity in the open world William Red Dead Redemption 2 the steal wagons and sell them
Doing this to or four Side characters it would be very interesting
When it comes to hijacking and hacking a trauma team vehicle I think it would be interesting if you could sell the data to fixers I also think it would be interesting if you could keep the vehicle somehow and also be able to disable or manipulate the tracker to give a false location
That's a great idea.
Ok my number one Wish for Cyberpunk Orion:
- is to be able to Play a Male, that is able to have Hetero s. Relationships!
(Just like Cyberpunk 2077)
And with out that opion present, i can confidently say that im not going to buy the Game no matter how good it is.
OTHER than that, two things:
The game should try to become a little more like Witcher 3.
(I dont mean Cyberspace with that)
Lastly who ever wrote the Story for the Witcher 3 DLC Hearts of Stone (Gaunter o' Dimm), please let him Cook something out for C. ORION.
exactly brother I'm with you on that
Thanks for your measured words Tez.
@@StuGamePlus Yeah man, I'm good thanks! Glad to see some Tez vids pop back up in my feed! Welcome back :) I missed your sexy brogue lol
But then... How will I make a "get back into Konpeki - Project Orion Version" then 😂
@@StuGamePlus You won't ;-P And the world will be a better place then as you won't need to ;-)
I'll need counselling. I have a love hate relationship with those videos. it's complicated 😂
Things I want to see:
Players will have regret after investing many hours into a game save.
yeah
I want So-Mi as a romance option in Orion. No, I need that.
what I would really like to see is a finished story with every character fully developed and curated.
Absolutely based take at the end, im so sick of people shouting "no woke" when nobody is even asking for more from Cyberpunk or CDPR
As a Mexican man you trying to pronounce Jackie’s guns made this video 😂😂😂keep working on it Mano you’re closer than you think!!
You are giving me ideas of things to script redmods for such as the bounty system lol
If you do it let me know, I'll check it out.
@@StuGamePlus i will for sure i just released my first mod if you'd like to check it out the video is kind of meh but it explains what it does and shows how to install it
An eye for a foot........ Sun Tzu 2077
Solid list!
Man, in regards to NPCs routines and that most (if not all) accesss to all buildings, CDPR should take Kingdom Come Deliverance as an example.
Oooh actually yeah that game really punches above it's weight
city of dreams, city of gangs, gangs, gangs, gangs.
Have to add, this vid goes deep. Way deep. Well done.
Base building (hideouts, apartments etc). Customize interiors. Add rooms, hallways, secret basements. In badlands be able to build camps and forts.
OMG everything you said is exactly what I want from the next cyberpunk I hope these guys are listening
Fingers crossed.
more cyberware options for your character would be nice
Multiplayer. I don't know if you said that in the video, but some aspect of multiplayer would be amazing. Maybe in a separate "world" than the "campaign/story" like in GTAV, but some aspect of being able to see others or play against/with your friends would be amazing. Imagine you're hired for a defense gig and you (maybe toggleably) get to fight another player who has an assassination gig? That would be amazing to me.
Lifepaths should actually have more of a purpose than just the start of your story and a few dialogue options.
More racing minigames would be cool too. Maybe like a cross-country thing, if they do end up making Orion span over multiple places.
Great input, thanks choom!
Nicely done Mate. Great video with some great comedy. I bet a beer down the pub with you is a great craic
Thanks buddy. I've contemplated seeing if drinking improves my videos tbh. 😂
If the player character could do memory alteration like what happened to the paralysis narrative Choice involved it would be awesome
Think of the opportunities that could create.
2031 release date
@handsomeTez honestly, if they're going to hand some out you'll be on their list!
And ofc cybernetic body parts, like a robotic arm, robotic legs, stuff like that, stuff that wont give you a buff (unless they also go with stuff like double jump cybernetics having visual changes) just a visual customization
And this is the most out there thing but i think having usable mechs would be awesome, like the cyber skeleton from edgerunners, the balancing would be almost impossible but its just a thing id like to see
And of course titanfall 2 style wall running
Would love more lore content on stuff shown in Cyberpunk but not fully explained. The Blackwall, Rogue AIs, Mr. Blue Eyes and the whole Ai controlled blue eyed people etc! and even what the data crash was like in a flashback or something.
Indeed. Some mystery is always welcome, all the best works of art have some mystique and leave things for interpretation.
I would like more life Path for the next character it would be amazing
Yup would be cool
Also, I would love to see more of the bozos and smaller gangs. Even tho bozos mostly disappeared in the 2045s
I really don’t want any sort of online / multiplayer in the next game. I could rant but I won’t. CDPR stick to what you’re clearly amazing at and what we love you for…
Bethesda
haha! You're not wrong.
Indeed, be careful what you wish for. People thought they wanted an online Multiplayer version of Fallout.....and look what we got 😆. "Sixteen times the detail".
well chooms..
Imagine V (your old character from 2077)
in Johnny's shoes, cast away with a psycho-personality on a bio chip you either have to find, earn or something else to gain BACK the character/stats you worked for in CP2077 as a quest/side quest
Good to hear from you! Enjoy your next run :)
Great video Choom!
I like what you had to say, I think spot on.
Appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed it. Gotta keep things centered.
Your list is spot on. To expand photo mode I want an in game instant replay with 3rd person. If si pull off an aerial knife throw headshot I want to replay it in 3rd person and share the video. And pause it and take photos mid air.
Dude, that would be an excellent photo!
Te it's so great to get this early Orion information from someone who is involved with and represents CD Projekt!
lol not you too.
The book also introduced full body conversions as well
Fun fact, people who start sentences with "fun fact" assume nobody else in the comments already mentioned what they are about to say!
Thanks choom, I had no idea we could get the actual CP rulebook from owning a copy of the game. I am going to download that as soon as I get home. Great video. CP is one of my favorite fictional universes.
You're welcome! Me too.
I love the idea of having your own gang especially if you could have your own version of Dogtown or you would have abandoned megastructure in my mind I forgot to be tolerant you have to make the right friends Lakeland the help the paralysis playing into a reputation / bribery system
Imagine running Dogtown. The power trip is already going to my head lol!
32:49 the original cyberpunk RP books are so based and prescient in a kinda Orwell sort of way.
100% it's crazy prescient. HOWEVER, that is probably due to a lot of the shit going on today also happening in the 80s. It's all cyclical.
More heists would be great
Thanks for including Flying Vehicles!!! You're tha best choom! 🤘😎
No problem 👍
One thing I’d love to think of is what actor should take the roll of someone like Morgan black hand. I feel like he is gonna get the Johnny/Keanu treatment and have a celebrity performance and I’m for something like that. Part of me would like to see John Bernthal take the mantle but I’m curious who would if anyone
Great video!
Thanks, good to hear from you buddy, how are you?
You're welcome, thanks for watching. Now, when are you coming to pick me up for bowling? 😁
Id like a flashlight!
Yup this definitely comes under weapon mods, damn I meant to mention that specifically though.
it blew my mind how something so simple yet so helpful never made it into a game where your eyeballs could be literal flashlights! Lol
There is just too much fighting going on. I hope my centrist take on things made sense!
This is true. Makes them more grounded and relatable.
I feel this
@@ambientoblivion I get where you ask for relatability, but we're playing in a fantastical future where people literally inject themselves in cybernetic enhancements and eat synthetic meat.
Example character's height, I just wanna create a chibi character. 😄
Nice to have you back. 😊
I don't know what a chibi character is and am appreciative to google it 😂
@@StuGamePlus , yeah, just wanna create a cute character. Now imagine a chibi V, going around NC, firing at gangs. 😂
the enemies can also be pretty static when attacking them i kinda hope it becomes more like gta read dead or dying light
edit: also it takes place in california game needs more homeless people
Homelessness is crazy right now in Ireland too. World's gone mad. As someone who's been there although only for a short period, I don't wish it on anyone... Except NPCs. 😆
What do I want to see on Orion (cyberpunk 2)? What ever they put in it....they have earned my respect.
Very cool attitude choom. I like it.
Online with friends in this game would be amazing.
I think you have a great point. Reminds me, I really need to get back to KCD!
@@StuGamePlus It's going to blow up when the sequel is released - I'd be interested in content on it!
14:25 good ai would be preem!
The nemesis system is a very specific patent you could absolutely take elements of it and implement it in your game
I agree, genuinely they have pretty great music.
More cg movies in game they were bangers in the trailer department
Things i want for the sequel:
1. Make sure the story this time is easy to understand like Mass Effect
2. Make sure the cutscenes where you interact with NPC's is in 3rd person to make it believable
3. No exposition dumps mostly because it bored me to death
Oh, I like a complex story.
Hope they add more voices for the protagonist
Also drivable loactions which has lots of greenery... Like a forest area
I'd like some greenery too.
Popular desire.
"The moon was full the night Orion asked Lilith to be his mate."
Excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
some enemies dont have cyberware and therefore shouldnt be quickhackable, potentially adding extra challenge
Yes!
More than just two LMGs, and if you're going to model bipods at least let us go prone!
Crossbows and compound bows, yes please. Wearable ripperdoc gauntlets, custom _visually obvious_ cyberware, techhair, night vision kiroshis and luminous tattoos.
Prone!!! Absolutely
car modding, controling avs, weapon customization like rdr 2 , cybernetic limbs, more expanded night city map
An other great video: some additions - self driving cars
I definitely could use them lol. Glad you enjoyed it.
I was very surprised to not hear a return of Johnny silverhand in the new game
I mentioned it under cast
Would like a dual wield pistols/smgs mechanic even with swords
Sword in one hand and gun on the other
This isn't just in cyberpunk this isn't a lot of games it would be awesome to have aquatic Warfare yachts more things to do on the water
Are aquatic Warfare yachts essentially submarines?
It would be fantastic to have a submersible yacht
With artificial gravity
Bring it on!
My biggest request is that it comes out before 2030 and works properly that’s all
Wouldn’t mind being able to switch builds to change up for the given situation. I’m on a “body” build right now and stealth demands are virtually impossible.
But. You can benchpress a truck, swings and roundabouts 😆
@@StuGamePlus yeah, but then the fixer whines about it
I comment while I watch choom… I’m not done yet.
Great video! Thx!
Glad you liked it!
