- Today we are on 14th and 9th in Manhattan's Meatpacking District trying the oldest steakhouse in the country, Old Homestead. It has been here since 1868, making it nearly 20 years older than Keens and Peter Luger!

The thing is, Kristin. You are able to convey in such a discriptive manner, the essence of the food, and the feel of the restaurant so naturally and with such grace. You both, review and describe with such class. Guess I have eaten vicariously through you...... Thank you.
We always look forward to your comments. Thank you so much! Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!
Not trying to go overboard here, but I must say. I am so glad to have found a channel that is so well produced as well as, excellent content presented. I actually look forward to viewing. I hope you two are together for ever, and always hold your love for life. Merry Christmas....... @@travelfuller
I like that you gave Peter Luger another chance. Restaurants are not static. I saw another youtube video in which the server (very helpful) recommended the burger). Who would have known to go to a steakhouse for their burger? Kudos to you for calling out the hostess. Most guests don't realize how important the front of house staff is to the entire restaurant team. As a host/ hostess you are the first and last face the guests see. It does not matter if they think you are tourists and are fed up with tourists. Tourists bring money to NYC.
Love your restaurant/ food reviews!! I have soooo many new places to try when I'm back in NYC. Happy holidays to you both!
So glad you’re enjoying them! We love making them. Happy holidays!!
Great video. Homestead is now on my list to go.
Now thats a good looking steak! congrats on the 2K, hope you both have a great xmas and new years!
Thanks so much! Hope you have an amazing holiday as well!
OMG- Kristin its a home run , i am on my third in a row Kristin and Will. The description and camera work are both excellent
Thanks so much! Really appreciate the support and all your comments!
I enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Love this review, wish you’d tried more sides but I understand the meat was the thing.
Thanks! We did too. Hopefully as the channel grows we can ask everyone if they’ve been to places before we go and get some more suggestions
that burger was probably was made with close to a 1/4 lb of butter
You’re probably right but it certainly was delicious!
You are an HONEST and excellent reviewer, keep it up!@@travelfuller
Thanks so much! Anywhere you’d like to see a review of?
Sure; "The Fulton" by Jean Georges at New York City's Seaport @@travelfuller
We’ve been meaning to try it! We just posted a Seaport video if you haven’t seen it but didn’t make it to the Fulton so we’ll have to go back!
I had one of the best meals of my life there. Lobster cocktail (Two actually. My co-worker gave me his as well because he’s allergic) and steak au poivre. Also my first dinner out not drinking. I quit over 9 years ago. Paid for by the company I was working for. Amazing dinner. I love that place💯
I have eaten there a few times. Food is always good, and the atmosphere is great. A bit pricey, but very enjoyable
Well done video with great information. I nearly dismissed this as 'one of those big channels' but was very surprised that it is not. It's very professional done, almost 'too perfect' and polished which is why I almost dismissed it.
Thanks for the feedback! Did it feel too scripted or ungenuine? We’re still small and trying to keep improving!
Great meal!
It definitely was!
this is my favorite steakhouse in the country...BUT not the NYC location...you MUST go to the one at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City, because they have an offering that is not on the NYC menu...it's the colossal crab meat cocktail...trust me, you need to go there and get that app...and THEN add it to your Gotham ribeye via Oscar style as well...it will be one of the best steaks you will have...you have to trust me if you go down there...cheers, love u guys and keep up the amazing videos!
Wow good to know! Thanks so much for the recommendation we'll have to add AC to the list. Thank you!

My favorite channel!!
If you are going to steakhouses, try the British eating method. 😊
Was there in 2014, tried their "Kobe" burger, not quite sure if it was real Kobe, based on the price, but damn, it was great!
It’s actually not! They said that was just the name which seems a little misleading
Wow, even the price was right in my opinion
Does he ever get a chance to taste the food?
Bit concerning is the cheesy/cheap holiday lights. Yikes. And he decor just looks sad. It's not modern at all. Bare brown walls, mirrors that are just old, and sad tables and yeesh those placemats look awful. The cheap Lunch sign belongs at a Ruby Tuesdays. Love your videos and how you bring us inside these great steakhouses...but based on this, hard pass.
