Picked up a used one for $3.46 at LKQ!!! Came out of a 02 X5. Do the research. BMW dual heater valves are in different models. Do not pay $175 @ the dealer! Hope this helps!
yes it fixed it. go to the junk yard and cut the connector on the donor car and do the same procedure. the x5 i took it from, the selonoid is beefer than the newer ones that come on the 645!
hi frank i am having the same problem with my 05 645ci no heat and the temp is below normal all the time. I replaced the thermostat but no luck. did u get it fixed after replacing the heater valve? hope you respond thanks
