So it works after all. What these kids are learning is the foundation of knowledge. Do you see the foundation of a building? Not really, it is deep down and in the inside. So you don’t necessarily see it, but it is still essential.

@@juzoli Save your cheap fortune cookie comments for your mouth breather friends. Don't be bitter just because you didn't have a life in high-school. I started skipping in the 5th grade, skipped at least one class a day (Which is alot when there is only four classes a day.) if not the entire day all through high-school. I am not an idiot, and; I am sure that most of the people that you have generalized and stereotyped aren't dumb either.
I was a year ahead in school, graduated a year early, and was finished earning my credits by the end of the first semester of my junior year. I went on (After taking seven years off of school) to get a bachelor degree in paralegalism, and now I am a certified nurse. And I never could have done that if I were "incredibly dumb."

You are an example why am right, and why schools are good. What I’m talking about are the people who don’t even finish the school.
School was too easy for you? Good for you, but that’s not the point here. School is not too easy for most people out there.

Okay, the hot dog question. Seems incomplete to my analtyical self. The 50 Combo's answer only accounts for the $250 he has to pay the city. That doesn't cover the additional $2 per combo fee he has to pay in addition. Each combo he sells will change how much more he's paying them...🤔 Poorly written question?

    • @jb888888888
      @jb888888888 ปีที่แล้ว

At $7 each if he sells 50 combos he gets $350. Pay $250/day, that leaves $100. Pay $2 per combo, 50 combos is $100 additional to pay, that leaves $0. That's the break even point. Each combo sold per day above or below 50 would earn or lose him an additional $5; i.e.:
      * If he sold 49 combos he'd have gotten $343. He'd pay the county $348 giving him a net loss of $5.
** If he sold 48 he'd have gotten $336 and paid $346 so net loss of $10.
      * If he sold 51 combos he'd have gotten $357 and would have to pay the county $352, netting him a profit of $5.
** If he sold 52 he'd pull in $364 and paid $354, net profit $10.
Not counting however much he has to pay to create the combos in the first place, ingredients and packaging and labor and whatnot; but that was outside the scope of the question.

:D lol but on a serious note memorizing stuff doesn't make us intelligent/smart that's really the problem with our schooling, we are made to memorize a lot of stuff that we forget later in life.

Omg this might be the best. BTW Kim that is what happens home schooling. You learn stuff you don’t know how you know it. lol 😂 Penn you loosing means you need to help more with homework. You are loosing your edge. Lol thanks for morning giggles.

This made my brain hurt lol I’m a year 7 (7th grade-)and this is all 🤯. I’m guessing it’s because I live in a different country. I’m pretty sure periodic tables are to be learnt in high school so yea…

I missed the fraction one and like Kim I guessed on the Algebra one and got it right....I Hate Algebra I would somehow get the answer right but the teacher wanted me to show my work and it looked wrong so I would only get half credit....IF YOU GET THE ANSWER RIGHT IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW YOU GET THE ANSWER DAMNIT!!🤣😡 ok bad 9th grade flashbacks 🤣

Agree. Math used to be really fun and easy when I could just use my own method. It was intuitive. I could still do it showing my work but it became less fun and now I can’t do mental math at all as an adult.

I'm starting 9th grade and my brother is starting 7th. Today was my virtual grade nine orientation! Can't wait for school to start, and I should do this to my parents. But my mom is a high school math teacher so she'd crush the math. My dad is good at math too though. This will be interesting.....

I was bad with most of the math problems, but got everything else right. My brain crashes over higher math.
