This video is a list of artists from Houston. The list is ordered by each year, from 1990 - 2010, and it shows each song made by the artists that helped them gain notoriety, fame, or just anytime of popularity at the time, which helped influence the Houston sound. I know I forgot to add a lot of underground rap groups and individuals on the list. Also I know a small amount of these artist aren't from Houston, but I still added them since they lived there, released the album/song there, or they're just repping the city (Like Pimp C for example) *This video was Inspired by Hip Hop Universe* 7:09 the song is actually titled "What'Cha Gonna Do" but I didn't notice the mistake until I finished it. *Follow me on Instagram* instagram.com/SpmTunes
Funny part is the hook for Streets On Beats help me originally discover a few artists, but I didn't add a few of them to the list. Still legendary none the less
Ikeman, Shadow & Grimm paved the wave for Mexican Rap culture in Houston, without them there would be no SPM and with no SPM there would be no Lucky, Peso or any Mexican Rapper from HTX
@@Silvano_offical no, I mean Shadow Ramirez (aka Twinn) from Houston TX, He's Grimms twin (Grimm started the whole Mexican Rap Movement in Houston). Shadow Ramirez is also a incredible producer/rapper, he has worked with people like Happy P, Mista Madd, Bun B, Juan Gotti, Baby Bash and a lot more
