I wasn't sure if I was going to watch this video because there are so many making AG doll videos now I don't have the time. I concentrate on the ones that talk about what most interests me (Etsy clothing, homemade outfits, AG and Maplelea brand clothing, doll rooms and displays mostly). That said, I'm glad I did. I really enjoy your personality and the way you "babble" on and get off track sometimes. That leads you to mention amusing little incidents that pop in your head. I enjoy those parts the most. I have to say, or confess, that I'm the same way. I know it drives others crazy. I see people rolling their eyes or making circular motions with their hands to tell me to get to the point. I usually just blurt out what they wanted to know but, honestly, it makes me feel like I should apologize for wasting their time. I guess, that's why I like your stories so much. With TH-cam if we want direct answers and the creator isn't getting to the point we can just skip past all the babble. I never do that with you but some that, for instance, are showing how to make something like doll food I'm not really interested in hearing stories of how many dolls they have or the one they really want, for example. They can just make a different video about that. Hope you understand this and what I'm saying ? Don't change the way you do your videos. I especially loved the last part when you explained your relationship with your partner. It was very cute. Sometime when he's sleeping alone quietly set up all your dolls on the floor near him all looking at him so when he wakes up he might wonder if they are alive. P.S. I have plans to make stop motion videos (the real reason I got into collecting AG dolls - AGSM videos) and have one in mind where their toys are moving closer and closer on the nightstand beside the bed to a sleeping doll. Every time he (because I have some tiny action figure dolls with guns, etc.) opens his eyes they have moved closer to him. I'm just as crazy as you, LOL ! Anyway, thanks for the video. One of my favorites.
It’s true, there are a lot of AG creators now! So I totally understand having to choose-mine tend to drag on, so it’s a good idea to consider if you have the time 🥴🤣 Saying that, I’m glad you got something out of it. And I’m sure my videos would drive soooo many people crazy… but this is how my channel has evolved lol. Do you know I actually did that to my ex!!! When I got a new Chucky doll, I stood him up outside the bedroom door, which was closed while we slept. I woke up to his screams 🤣🤣🤣
Oh and I feel like if I ever made videos how to make stuff, I’d probably ramble over them too 🥴 unless it was a tutorial. I’m just not skilled enough to make a tutorial of anything lol. Second comment from me sorry! But the dating another collector comment about space is SO REAL! My partner collects Gundam and action figures of various franchises and the space struggle is real! My collection is far bulkier than his so I’m rather thankfully able to take over our craft room with my dolls while he has glass cabinets in the dining room. Not to mention our collective plushies and Lego! Definitely a struggle for space!
I’ve known collector couples, and I don’t know how they do it! Like what if we both wanted the same doll? Do we share? Buy 2? It’s so sweet when people can share the passion… maybe I’m just selfish 🤣 I’d be like no the doll is mine!

Kirsty from AG takes over was able to make a CYO with a bang after they ended the choice but It is probably to late now to try it. I regret I did not follow through when she shared the information. WE can love in hope for the Chinese historical because I want one also.

I was a young adult in the 1980’s (graduated high school in 1986). Courtney’s second book is the Ryan White story. Her activism is a bit premature for the time period (I believe it was set in 1987) and for her age. That level of information was not as available at that time. However, it is a good story in standing up for others and being an advocate for change. I don’t have Courtney. My CYO mini me loves her clothes and accessories! I don’t have the bigger pieces (bedroom set, PAC Man), but I have most of the clothes and smaller accessories!
Ohhhhh okay, my perspective on what was going on in 1986-87 would’ve been different for sure. BUT! I still recognized her behaviour and activism wasn’t age appropriate lol. That might be what made me like it. I could picture myself in the 80s wanting a friend like that. What doll did you use as your mini me? She has the best collection, so I’d o probably want to do the same if I made a mini me lol.

I smiled listening to your ideas for a historical because that question came up in a past Q&A video I did and my answer was less fleshed out but definitely similar. Also, having a partner who is also an AG collector, I might have to disagree and say it *is* ideal to have a partner who collects. Your point about fighting for space is fair, though. I think Grace just assumes I'll work some magic and make everything fit. No matter what comes in, I usually do (make it fit) lol. Haha yes your couple collecting is a pretty ideal arrangement. I’ve known other couples in the Disney community, and I never understood how they did it. I think the problem is me-I’m so greedy on my own I couldn’t possibly share space 😬 But it’s always nice to hear others can do it lol.

I felt bad answering a negative question 🤣 I don’t understand why they got rid of the bangs at all!! Probably to cut costs. I need at least a choker or necklace to cover the neck joint. But even then it’s like what are those weird wrinkles around her collar?

It means a lot that you would comment - it does take time out of your schedule, and it can be tricky if you like to watch on your TV (like I do) so I’m always touched when people go out of their way to leave a comment or a like (which is why I never ask anyone to in my vids 🤣) You love horror too?? I think there must be a certain level of horror to loving dolls as much as we do lol, so that’s nice to hear! For me your stories are not juvenile but rather quite creative and realistic. Start writing them down when you can. You are just so creative, so much a part of you I don't think you realize all of your own creativity and your own future creative potential.
Awww I’m glad you enjoy them. There are times when I’m saying things in a video, and my brain is telling me to stop talking 🤣 but my words are louder and unstoppable
When I think of the amount of money I spent on the dolls and I believe the last doll that I bought my daughter was he did the 13th or the 14th and they’re all pleasant company. She grew out of the dolls right before or lost interest because her friends lost interest before Matel took them over so everything that she has is original, or was produced prior to their taking note of Matel. When she married and moved to Texas, also along the way, blessed us with two grandchildren but I’m sure if I would’ve walked into the basement of my assessment house, I would find all those dolls in the boxes I doubt she took them to Texas with her, I hope she did but I doubt it I mean I spent thousands and thousands of dollars on that stuff and it’s kind of heartbreaking to know that she’s got her eight-year-old who would be thrilled to have them and don’t even know they exist.
Isn’t it gut wrenching to think of how much we spend on dolls? I try not to! If no one is interested in then anymore, you could probably sell them for a small fortune. Not everyone loves dolls forever. At least that’s what I’ve heard…
Well, the way I see it collecting dolls is no different than collecting baseball cards or autographs, going to NASCAR and hoping that you get to meet your favorite racer some people collect sheet music generally there are people who are musically gifted but once again there’s something there that they put time and effort into. I don’t like anyone ever looking down there knows anyone else because of what they choose as their project or what they want to collect or what they want to, build a little world around. This world is a very tough place right now tougher than I can ever remember being and I’ve lived through two wars, three wars and probably the fourth before this is all done. Everyone deserves to have something that they can just escape to for a little while, if we don’t take advantage of those times we are going to lose our minds. My Tiana collection definitely snowballled over time. I started collecting limited edition Disney princess dolls in 2012-by 2014 I started to add non-LE Tiana items to my collection. And by 2017 I had a full on Tiana collecting - and then at the end of 2019 I sold off my non-Tiana Disney dolls to focus on her. I guess that would’ve been easier to say in the video 🤣 And I could’ve given many juicier details. Next time!

Awww hi Lisa! It means a lot that you would comment - it does take time out of your schedule, and it can be tricky if you like to watch on your TV (like I do) so I’m always touched when people go out of their way to leave a comment or a like (which is why I never ask anyone to in my vids 🤣)

For me your stories are not juvenile but rather quite creative and realistic. Start writing them down when you can. You are just so creative, so much a part of you I don't think you realize all of your own creativity and your own future creative potential.
Awww I’m glad you enjoy them. There are times when I’m saying things in a video, and my brain is telling me to stop talking 🤣 but my words are louder and unstoppable
When I think of the amount of money I spent on the dolls and I believe the last doll that I bought my daughter was he did the 13th or the 14th and they’re all pleasant company. She grew out of the dolls right before or lost interest because her friends lost interest before Matel took them over so everything that she has is original, or was produced prior to their taking note of Matel. When she married and moved to Texas, also along the way, blessed us with two grandchildren but I’m sure if I would’ve walked into the basement of my assessment house, I would find all those dolls in the boxes I doubt she took them to Texas with her, I hope she did but I doubt it I mean I spent thousands and thousands of dollars on that stuff and it’s kind of heartbreaking to know that she’s got her eight-year-old who would be thrilled to have them and don’t even know they exist.
Isn’t it gut wrenching to think of how much we spend on dolls? I try not to! If no one is interested in then anymore, you could probably sell them for a small fortune. Not everyone loves dolls forever. At least that’s what I’ve heard…
Well, the way I see it collecting dolls is no different than collecting baseball cards or autographs, going to NASCAR and hoping that you get to meet your favorite racer some people collect sheet music generally there are people who are musically gifted but once again there’s something there that they put time and effort into. I don’t like anyone ever looking down there knows anyone else because of what they choose as their project or what they want to collect or what they want to, build a little world around. This world is a very tough place right now tougher than I can ever remember being and I’ve lived through two wars, three wars and probably the fourth before this is all done. Everyone deserves to have something that they can just escape to for a little while, if we don’t take advantage of those times we are going to lose our minds. So I said play.Collect, did you say and I’m not sure if I heard correctly that you do some designing of doll clothes good for you,

I forgot to submit my question, but how long have you been collecting for Tiana?
My Tiana collection definitely snowballled over time. I started collecting limited edition Disney princess dolls in 2012-by 2014 I started to add non-LE Tiana items to my collection. And by 2017 I had a full on Tiana collecting - and then at the end of 2019 I sold off my non-Tiana Disney dolls to focus on her.
I guess that would’ve been easier to say in the video 🤣 And I could’ve given many juicier details. Next time!
