@@melangellperry5984 the white eggz looks a little off to me because of the shiny skin. It’s confusing that she’s a doll of a doll instead of a doll that’s supposed to be a kid like Sadie. The blue one who glows is extra spooky like a ghost, so I love that about her. And yes it’s much better to live vicariously through this video, because LDD tend to be expensive on the secondary market. I hope they don’t release tooooo many of these deluxe dolls 👀 ☠️

@@virgo1986ful it’s probably better to enjoy them in videos and pics at this point-they tend to be really expensive on the secondary market. Definitely not worth those prices!

The numbers are still low enough I keep making boys too. I’d love to see other molds get the closed mouth / squarer jaw treatment.

@@kayleighbrown459 I forgot about that! On the LDD forums UK collectors shared their prices, and it was such a mystery. Buying from American sites was always cheaper for them. It was just the Presents dolls that went up in price as far as I saw a few years back - like $85. But I think the regular dolls were stopped by then. I was shocked to see them charge that much

@@eliseelliot oh nooooooo!! Don’t traumatize yourself to support anyone’s content-especially when I’m sharing dolls I normally wouldn’t lol. This is the scariest video I’ll do this October at least. I have a couple vampire dolls but they’re more glamorous than scary. Don’t risk it if you think you’ll have nightmares tho!

@@DisBlaine We all enjoy seeing your passion for dolls! It is infectious and brings us all together. I feel like I am sharing my love of dolls with my bestie with no judgement. So many times I get the eye roll when I talk about my dolls and how I enjoy working with them. You never give me the eye roll! Love that!

@@c.w.2000 haha yes I tried to give a couple warnings that this video was coming because these dolls definitely won’t be appropriate for a lot of people who watch my AG vids. I’m still a W Club member and will continue to be until I’ve sold off all the dolls in my closet 🤣 I do have plans to share some more of them on here before they’re gone. Maybe after I catch up on the backlog of vids in my list - but I better do that before I sell everything! And yes the older dolls are definitely nicer 💔

@@Locktobre oh yeah I forgot about those LDD presents dolls. I started seeing them for $85 at retail a few years back. Maybe they went ham on the license fees, but in the beginning they didn’t charge much more for them. These are definitely worth the higher price tag compared to the older dolls

@@Alixthecollector Lizzie Borden, really! Wow I don’t think I’ve ever known her to be a favorite. Series 2 was a fun theme, so her being a teacher was cool. And I did like her ftr (hope I didn’t come across like I don’t lol). Was the orange cat the variant or the one you liked? I loved those sets. And yes, collecting in the 2000s was hard on a minimum wage budget lol!!! Clothes definitely would’ve been a priority

@@DisBlaine I know!! 😂😂 Yeah I remember her almost constantly being in stock on Hot Topic's website and at Spencer's gifts lol I had a slight obsession with Lizzie Borden and her life when I was a teenager so I felt like I had almost manifested that doll lmfao And YES! The orange cat! He was so unbelievably cute and I wanted to replicate his outfit for Halloween that year so bad lol

And yes now that I’ve sat with these dolls for a bit, Sadie is my fave of the 3 I opened. Someone said she looks like a mean girl but horror, and that bumped up her ranking 🤣 These are expensive tho, same price as an AG

The doll behind me is Deepika (Jasmine but I repurposed her). She’ll only get to wear that outift for another week ☹️ (I’ll be redressing her for Diwali) but I do love this outift on her.

Mezco put the accessory pack up today for these deluxe dolls, but the shipping is the same cost as for a doll, so it’s not worth it. Damien is amazing! Can’t wait to see deluxe Posey.

@@buffmontana4203 haha I have such fond memories of watching that movie as a kid! I used to get in trouble for acting like her after and scaring my older brother (we shared a room). I do miss my LDD collection but the dolls became hit or miss later on.

I have one tiana doll, one tiana mcdonalds toy, a PatF cd, and a tiana sweater i really appreciate you replying to my comments and you're actually the one that inspired me to start collecting PatF merch unfortunately I don't post on Instagram I will be posting on my TH-cam channel unfortunately I do have lots of difficult things going on in my life but your videos motivate me to keep going

@@LisaWhitmire-c3f the bad news is ikea stopped making these units, which are called Detolf. They were pretty affordable for glass cases, but it did take some (simple) modifications to make them fit AG because the shelves are 15”. At this point you can only find them on places like marketplace 💔

@@lisbetsoda4874 if I ever see a PC Josefina that speaks to me, I’m sure I’ll buy her, if okly to were the riding outift I recently got. You have an older Josefina? Is her vinyl softer, squishier? If I can find one made that way, I’ll definitely try. But yes when Mattel started manufacturing AG, the dolls changed a LOT.

@@lisbetsoda4874 oh yes it was definitely not an ideal time to be “different”. I think I’ve always been a little self centred in the way I don’t care what other people think or want me to do to be “normal”. I’m sure it was really annoying for them to see me flaunting my differences and then not caring what they think even tho they were all doing a good job fitting in and caring about pleasing everyone else. That just wasn’t for me 🙈😝

@@scrap4u1 the bus does all that?? I need to figure out how to work those lights and wipers! I can’t even find the battery pack lol! I have the cooler but forgot to show it (that’s nothing new for me). I have the scene displayed so high I can’t see the hooks for the screen, but that’s a fun detail! I can’t see the light in the backseat, so I’ll definitely need to pull out my stepladder later to check out all these fun elements! Thanks for explaining all that.

@@Art-in-Making I think nowadays it’s just about dressing up and going door to door saying trick or treat to get candy. And if you’re an adult, you might go to a costume party. I think traditionally it was a pagan holiday-but I don’t know as much about that lol
