- 2 bulbs for rearview mirror→ amzn.to/2ffH7Yf
1 LED Fuse type bulb for dome→ amzn.to/2f3Gogf
1 LED for shift lever→ amzn.to/2eUAFFz
2 bulbs for the license plate→ amzn.to/2eUAFFz
This should be the same for 03 04 05 06 07 08. You will want to get T10 replacement LED bulbs. I would get ones that are listed as "WARM" because the "White" ones come off as a piercing blue ice white. Very cold looking.
You will need:
2 - 5SMD T10 bulbs for the rearview mirror.
1 - 31MM 12SMD 12V LED Fuse type bulb for dome
1 - 4SMD T10 LED for the shift lever
2 - 4SMD T10 LED bulbs for the license plate

Is there any way you can show how to change the air conditioning lights with LEDs?
I'll probably do this for my dome light. Was just wondering how to get the translucent plastic off and what type of LED I needed. Have you had any problems with flickering?
Adam thx man a shop would charge a lot just for this
Thanks! I didn't even know the shifter had a light! I now have a project to do tomorrow 😀😀😀👍
Thanks! Just changed my dome light after watching ur video :)
Literally everything I need thank you
Could you do one on how to replace the leds in the instrument cluster of the corolla Please?
I already started that video but it is a real pain to get good LED's. I was not happy with the quality of the ones I got. They would not lock in place. I am doing a bit more research on where to get the bulbs.
Any link on how to do the cluster LEDs please?
For the license plate lights I used zevo LED 168 Mini Bulb and they won’t work. If swapping them and turning them the other way doesn’t work what could I do?
How do you turn on the light in the roof? where is the switch?
As luzes tô teto na verdade nesse ai fica no retrovisor, aqui no Brasil ficam no teto
Great video man this helped me I got all blue lights got tired of the LED white ones lol
So I put in an led into the mirror and one was working and then I popped in the other led and now both of them won't turn on. Is there a fuse or something that maybe I blew? They were a pain to take out.
For the Rearview Mirror map lights, I couldn't get the needle nose pliers to work for me. I even tried wrapping the pliers with tape for more grip but still didn't work.
I found by dismounting the mirror and using an improvised paper clip to pull the bulbs out from the socket much easier.
Just straighten out a paper clip, on one end shape a small hook using the needle nose pliers, then insert into the cavity and make sure to make contact with the bulb only. Pull gently and voila! the bulbs pop out instantly.
Of course you run the risk of pulling on the terminals, but it was a lot easier than trying to grab the bulbs with pliers. Hope this helps for anyone having trouble.
Find a video to dismount the mirror if you don't know how.
One stock bulb broke when I tried getting it out to replace with led and then I use needle nose to pull-out the broken one that was still plugged in.
Then I put in an led and it worked. Then I put in the other led and now both of them won't turn on. What could it be? In the mirror
Alex Lungu try taking the 2nd one out and see if the 1st one works again. If it does work, then try reversing the 2nd bulb when reinserting. LED’s have to be inserted a certain way for the polarity. If it still doesn’t work, it might be a dud. Also check your cable connection to the mirror. Make sure that cable is inserted.
Or your door timer may have ran out. Just close door and reopen, or turn key accessory off/on
@@bcast2380 i tried the stock bulb and its not working eaither. And I tried switching the led bulbs around and it didn't work. All the wires and cable is fine. The turns on only with pushing the buttons on the mirror. Opening the door doesn't do anything.
@@bcast2380 is there a fuse that controls that mirror lights? So I can check and see if I blew a fuse by chance?
I used tape and a pointed tip object to wrap and secure the tape around the bulb. Then I just pulled and the bulbs came out very easy
2 5SMD T10 LED bulbs for the rearview mirror.
1 31MM 12SMD 12V LED Fuse type bulb for the dome.
1 4SMD T10 LED for the shift lever
2 4SMD T10 LED bulbs for the license plate

Pregunta.. Si uno quiere encender la luz mientras el carro está en marcha.. De donde se enciende??
I changed the bulb but still not working, What else do you think can be the problem? Thanks
greetings friend wants to ask. I have never seen any corolla from 03-07 with the rear view with lights. if you could give me info about that mirror?
Really? I that it comes stock i bought a 05 Corolla and it had that light
Will these same size bulbs also work in a 2003 Toyota Matrix XR???
What brand of bulb did you use. I bought the same exact type of bulb supposedly but the don't work when I put them in and they are extremely hard to put in. Like they are too big or something
My car has that same dome light so I will get the LEDs since mine went out the other day.
Thanks your video help me a lot
Thanks for the links 🙏
if I change reverse parking light which bulb should be used?
Help! I changed the first light in my rear view mirror, the LED lit up like it should. I then went to change the bulb on the other side of the mirror and now nothing lights up. I tried flipping that second bulb and still nothing works. The LED that lit up before wont even turn on. Ive tried putting the original working bulbs back in and they dont work either.
Did you find out what was the problem ? The same thing happened to me.
Ive used a volt meter and the sockets the bulbs plug in have no electricity. I have not been able to fix it. So far I think its a broken wire from moving the mirror around to pull the bulbs out. I dont think its a broken fuse because everything else in my car runs normally. If you have other things not working in your car it could be a fuse. Let me know if you fix it!
I appreciate your reply...Do you think replacing the mirror will fix the problem ? Thank you
It could. But it would depend on whats damaged. It could be the wire leading to the mirror itself. Let me know if your able to fix it and what you did. At this point I cant figure mine out and Ive given up.
I think you are right..it could be the wire... do you know if there is a fuse for those lights ?
I have a 2003 Toyota corolla and i put in LEDS and not my parking lights are not working and my back brake on my window stays on do you know why it would be doing this!! I am going to put the lower resistence in for my blinkers would that make my car parking lights work
Stephanie Chace shore circuit and blow n fuse
Thank you!
Thank you for this!
When I replaced my lights with led bulbs I first did my License plate lights which work fine. Then I did my rear view mirror lights and for some reason they are SUPER dim. So dim that its like having no light at all. Why would this be going on?
It's hard to diagnose that since there can be a lot things going on, low power flow, bad led light, bad connector.
Just gotta take shots in the dark
I recall when my License Plate Lights were burned out, I looked in the Owner's Manual on what type they were. The manual said nothing, and told you to take the car to a Dealer(!!!????) to replace these. Good old YT, showed that you had to remove the Trunk Lid Trim Cover for access and the type of the bulbs were. I could only imagine the cost to have a Dealer do this...$5 for each bulb and $30-$60 in labor.
Should we disconnect the battery before doing this?
Sumanth Ganta NO
Is there a difference between the 2 LEDS you installed
The only difference is the pattern of light they shoot out.
dude thank you so much
I blew a fuse or shorted something out in the map light on the mirror. Cant find the fuse anywhere. Called toyota and they're no help. Any suggestions?
Jake Mcmillian The same thing happened to me. Did you fix it ?
I think I did the same. One worked then 2nd one was put in and now both won't turn on.
@@TheAvada32002 same with mine today. radio and clock wont work..
Bhi bro where from u buy from view mirror,,,,.?
Thanx man ........Can I do the same for a corolla 2002?
most likely yes.
Gonna try this.
you are awesome...@adamDIY
very nice, thank you.
Where do I get the set of led for the car? Thanks
Any where when you go in to the card parts store they have a book that tells you what bulb for what car
Thank you 🙏🏻😌😌
Can you put them in the front
Just tried this literally a few minutes ago. Was able to successfully replace both map lights using tape to pull the bulbs without any damage.
License plate lights was a struggle. I was only able to pull one. The other wouldn’t budge :/
Waiting for the rest of the bulbs from amazon
I literally also just did it a few minutes ago on my 4runner. I did both map lights, center dome light, as I tried the trunk light one of those metal clips came loose and I have no idea ho to reattach it to the light assembly.
good video, thanks
You forgot the trunk
but this led lights didn't work old toyota car? like 1991, 92, 93, corolla.
وين الاقي هاء الابات
Thanks
tikri shiknarankiai :)
I tore apart my center console trying to find where the bulb is 🤦♂️ thanks
Bro i did this for my car and the lights flicker
Glass Shatters
A few moments later
Hey car mechanic, i tried removing the lightbulb put it shattered everywhere...
Man hides the pilers lmfao
turn it counter clockwise or clockwise???
Clockwise to install. Counter clockwise to remove. Most bulbs require just a quarter turn to install or remove.
Utah!!!!!!!!
this so very lack of info... no brand of LED bulbs shown
Thank you!
