Lovely and excellent song. David Cassidy was a great musician, actor, singer. He resembles his parents: his mother was beautiful and his father one of the most handsome actors of his time. My mother always told me, and she doesn't tell this about other actors except Sean Connery, that Jack Cassidy had a beautiful face.
Perfect Song. I've never seen a Son so dedicated to his Father. David talked about his pain. Yet he never disrespected his Father publicly. There's another time that Jack and David were on the Merv Griffin Show. David did open up about how he felt his Father abandon him. Jack kind of interrupts and says David, I love you. David said thank you. Jack said, I just felt you needed to hear it. I believe Merv went to a commercial. And when they came back, Merv asked David if he would sing? David seemed surprised. And went on to sing Danny Boy. I wish he would of recorded it. Unfortunately they only have the Audio. no Video. It is on you tube.
