Is it possible that you’ll study other kinds of takedowns in the future as well? Great videos, by the way!

I know you're very hard at work with these fantastic videos and thank you very much for them but I would really like to see you break down the sweep single (in the gi)

Would love to see a study on David Taylor's Folkstyle augmented Free Style pinning combinations against World/Olympic medalists (Yazdani, Naifonov, Erdin)

Being am up and coming wrestler. Can you do another ankle pick study on Cael Sanderson? A all time great and I personally think his ankle pick is even better than Taylor's. Much love goes out to you and your channel.

Dr. Lopez I'm impressed by the highschool he came out. Just a community school ( St Paris Graham) that just continues to pump out these elect athletes.

I really like the ankle pick but i have an hard time both setting it up and executing it.
I don't know how to bring the leg forward, circling away from the side of the leg you want just works when practicing but in wrestling it's a whole different story.
Also when i level change i have trouble bringing the opponent's head down with me.
    Any advice?

Let's say I'm going for right ankle (in this case, right ankle is forward. If left ankle is forward, then do the opposite of this process). I put a headlock with left arm, and drop right knee to the floor, reaching in with right arm. Grab or hook the ankle and pull not towards you, but to your right. What this will do is put them so off balance that you can drive them to their left (your right) or keep a single leg.

But when dropping down, be explosive and pull with your left arm as well. This will solve your level change problem.

Taylor has a great video on which side your collar tie is on and how it dictates which leg you level change with (not penetrate), also goes into detail if the importance of circling to the pick, not away.

Do you ever run the risk of injuring your opponent's knee when pulling their leg across off of the ankle pick? Seems like it can put a lot of torque on the knee... just curious.
