Thank you for the videos, Miloa! I haven't played LoTRO in a while but I'm planning on giving it another go; I miss the atmosphere, lore, and community.
Just came across this and it helps so much. I rolled a mariner n Angmar and it’s been rough trying to figure out. Now I just have the combos set on my bars as is with the use a n cooldown stuff above it on top. Works like a charm
Great video, Im levelling solo mariner now on difficulty 7 and feel I only find success with the yellow line. Its really hard to find any info on the class so thanks for this :)
Excellent video. I just bought Mariner using Lotro points and have been leveling her. Had trouble at first. After watching your video she pwns mobs with ease. Now also working on better way to organize skill bars.
Btw doing Thrust > Sweeping Advance > Compound attack > Lunge dont you lose the 75% to finishings damage from advance for Lunge? Or what exactly is a finisher?
I thought so originally as well until I parsed at the dummy for hours. Compound attack has a larger contribution to lunge than advance. But I’d suggest you test those for yourself.
Sometimes the newer classes confuse me. Like if I want a challenge I understand why you might pick this up. Ultimately though it feels like you are at a disadvantage to classes that have no such drawbacks (self stun).
I agree some of them are not easy to play and seem to be copies of other classes just with some changes… like the blue mariner is like a red cappy for example.
Thank you for this guide and the Reddit accompaniment. I have just purchased this class to play on the new Angmar server and I'm wondering if you'd recommend blue or red for Fearless. I do prefer to engage the wraiths (even mourning) when landscape soloing rather than a beating a hasty retreat.
My personal preference would be blue Mariner, simply because (1) it gives me the most dps AND (2) it is the most survivable at higher levels because of the heals and buffs that you get. Good luck, and let me know how it goes.
Not OP but I did fearless +3 with blue to 35 and then changed to red. Prefer red because the wraiths are a dps race, the self healing and buffs don’t do enough against their burst damage to justify blue. I can only beat shadowy wraiths. Will change difficulty down to fearless now since I’m 50. It was annoying at times, if wraiths spawned when I’m not full health it would be a very quick death.
I made a red mariner and wow is it strong! Probably the highest single target dps in the game right now easily I play on Gladden, Firebran is my mariner! Best virtues are Valour Wit Confidence Zeal Determination
Wouldn't say best, but at the moment it is nice to reach your caps. For raid it probably will end up with tact. and Phys. Mits. Because a dead mariner doesn't do dmg
This is the best damn mariner video ive seen yet. Thanks so much. You got a new sub.
Awe thanks!!! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it :)

Fantastic!! You’re gonna have so much fun!
Amazing video. I see on chart you did not use Feint. You use it for aoe and heal or?
Hey I only use feint for survival :) thanks for watching
@@Miloascape Btw how do you use Check-Step - Disengage heal as red or you ignore it? It seems like I can never get in blue to activate Disengage.
@@Zenislav i just ignore it when in red. much easier when you're in blue
@@Miloascape Cheers

@Harry-uq9qd that’s good to know. I think for solo play red is great.
Great Video! this will genuinely help me play my mariner thank you!
You are so welcome! Happy hunting
Thank you for this video. Nicely explained
You are so welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed this!
Wow, this is really great! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
I like the style of the class, the only thing I'm concerned about is the amount of attack skills on it. I would have to bind like 15 keys.
I have 20 and it still doesn't feel like enough lol
This guide is amazing! Thank you very much!❤
so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
a very informative video. make a leveling guide for the class to level 20. keep up the good work
glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the suggestion.
