@strudel89 That's Yang's target combo. Close (cl) mp, cl hp, back + hp. They're all pressed quickly and they have a special animation. They may look like regular mp, standing hp, and palms chained together, but they're different hits with their own properties
A lot of these are not possible as they are tool assisted. If you're learning a particular character theres tons of information on the youtube channel "SF3LP". I have a few necro combo videos on mine also brother.
im curious. so i got the switch version of the 30 anniv. set my dummy to auto block after hit, and tried practicing linking combos, the tourouzan doesnt combo unless i immaculately space and time it right. its not as easy as u/ssf4. is there a technique to it?
Most of the time in 3rd Strike, you won’t link into slashes. Cancelling into them is one of the only ways to reliably confirm them. Also, there’s 3 different versions of the slash, that all go varying distances, so keep that in mind too. 3S is pretty different from SFIV, but you’ll get used to it eventually. Best of luck! ^^

I always wondered what the f*** that move was used for crouching medium punch where it looks like he's poking the ground with his fingers bro I've always wondered how the f*** do I use that move typically I just go overhead iach slashes and then I do it or I'll do Target combo Eric Hicks and just standing medium punch into crouching medium punch but I didn't know you could use it like that some of the stuff I'm seeing you do with this move that I've been trying to figure out what the f*** I'm supposed to do with this crazy much-loved man yunand yang my favorite two characters in 3rd Strike
a good combo I used to use in a match is UOH, linked to QCF+P, cancel it a few times, but stop before you knock the opponent down. Then link a S.lk afterwords cancelled into QCF+P, and keep gonig before you knock them down. Lick into S.lk just as before and continue this cycle until your SA3 time runs out.
Holy Crap!!! I'm debating to think if it's a rip off... but this seems possible for the PS3 edition. yes new combos to try out. LOL but it took me 7 minutes to pull off 2 2nd supers after each other xP ... so is everything about timing now?
@Morice0097 The point of these vids isnt to show you how to do combos that will work in an actual match.Look for tutorials if you what that.The point of this is to show what its possible to do with the game engine,so just enjoy it!
@wasup510 well, id say its its because he has bad pokes compared to everyone, no wake up game besides basketball, bad anti airs, no good reversal, and hardly any hit confirms.

Besides, in reality most Yangs would not use two stocks of SA-2 unless it was guarenteed to finish an opponent off. This was merely for entertainment, not as a tutorial for what Yang should do for set-ups, knockdown, or gimmick cross ups. Just chill out man, you gotta be cool to use yang well.
PEOPLE CANT ANYONE NOTICE?!?! he did most of the combos when the opponent's stun bar was almost filled. When the opponent gets stunned while in mid-air they're more vulnerable to juggles so lots of this combos are not solid.
3rd strike is probably capcom's finest fighter. I no longer play sf4, haven't in years due to the easy input, which has almost ruin my execution. I only rock this game and marvel now. Capcom if sf5 in the works let easy inputs be an option and not a gaming constant.
