    You end and start sentences with a small "yes" as and an Englishman this immediately reminds of me some wise old man. It's not a very common speech characteristic in England, especially among the lower and middle classes! I appreciate your intelligence; you have a talent for delivering a lot of information in a palatable manner. Thank you Shogo-san.

    Tomoko-sama looked like the wind. With this long hakama her feet were covered so she looked like if she was flying over the stage instead of walking. The gentle way of moving with this long clothes made her look like if she was a story herself. Shogo-sama on the other hand was like a rock, unbending, strong and loud. The master of the sword, creating the story. Together you looked like Fuji-yama covered in white clouds. You two are really perfect together, creating the most beautiful images in this world.

    Thank you! Enjoyed this video very much! Yes, I also noticed the difference in style between iaido and kenbu. It seems to me that iaido is much more practical, to be used in a real fight while kenbu is more dramatic.....

    A friend and I went to this exact Kenbu theatre the 1st time we ever visited Japan, in 2017.
    It was absolutely fantastic. Loved every minute of the experience.

    I remember watching the Last Samurai and seeing Ujio doing a dance with a fan before the battle. I was disappointed that only a small glimpse of that was shown. I would have loved to have seen more. Thank you so much for making this video!!

    When I saw the name of the video all I could think about is Shinomori Aoshi and his Kaiten Kenbu and the ougi Rokuren. I love the Oniwabanshu Okashira. He's my second favorite bad guy of the series.

    It's weird to actually say it, but I was proud of myself for noticing when Tomoko was walking behind Shogo, he looked behind and moved his sword to make sure the sheaths wouldn't clash and remembering that's a rule in handling the katana. Proof I'm actually learning!

    Is it just me, or does Shogo's kimono look a lot like Himura Kenshin's in Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X? Also, I kept thinking, "Oh man, Shogo has an advantage in a lot of these videos involving katana." His drawing and sheathing is smooth. If/when I ever make it to Kyoto, I've gotta try this!
