Hey! After first getting into Tea several years ago, taking a break, and then coming back to it daily again, it is really refreshing seeing you both still doing this. Thank you for what you guys are doing! Your channel is underrated. Keep it up you guys! Cheers as I drink a 8113 Yunnan 2011 Raw Puerh this morning!
I love how “cheerio” has gone from something that made Denny crack up every time, to something both of you say while maintaining a serious, analytical face.
absolutely love this tea. Such a unique experience, never had anything quite like it. Steeps for days (hence the lich moniker imo) and even the color is something remarkable. I think spot on review, not a daily but definitely a tea nerd's tea and would recommend a sample to both raw and ripe aficionados.
Also thanks for reviewing this tea! I've felt like I've been the only one in the world drinking this since 2022. I see in these comments that there are dozens of us!
Excited to see this on the show, been very curious about it. I generally really like high end ripes but this ones price is really in the high end of the high end, so I never picked up a sample. Some premium ripes I really enjoy are the YS lao man'e old tree and recently crimson lotus have released an yiwu gushu ripe which is super tasty. Keep these western vendor episodes coming guys the content on the channel has been amazing lately
Right on. Thank you! Mr. Green generously sent us a few more high-end W2T ripes so there's definitely some more coming. As you can probably tell this one totally took us off guard. A real butt kicking tea.
I cannot see myself ever paying $240 for a 200g shou cake. There are so many banger's out there for relatively cheap, and most of the stuff I drink is going to be in the daily drinker tier. I've yet to have anything that was more than $1/g that blew my mind enough to buy a whole cake (as far as shou goes). I don't even necessary want a super complex shou either. The thing I love about it about is that it's consistent and great for a relatively low price most times. If I want complexity and intensity then I usually find the money better spent on sheng.
That's completely fair. I do think this is worth a sample if you are ordering anyways. I also doubt I will buy a cake of this, but it is a very interesting tea.

Thank you! Yes definitely not a daily (except for lover's of extremely strong tea).
Agree with you both. Been loving the two cakes of this I bought. Stash it for special occasions (or bad days lol)

It is for sure!
Really appreciating the broad coverage of high-end ripes on the channel. Keep up the great content!
Appreciate it! We got some more high-end ripes coming in about a month or so.

As a level 83 Lich myself, it pains me to see you all drink this
Your tears are quite bitter sir.

You guys seems confused by this one lol
Yep, took a few brews to really get ahold of it. A genre bender.
