Great video! I own the BRX’s and REL subs, and they complement each other very well. While it’s no surprise the 1.R’s were superior, the surprise was how well the BRX’s and SuperSub X competed and even bested the 1.R’s in bass response. The larger enclosure and superior positioning options of the SuperSub I’m sure were a factor in that. Again, we’ll done!
Thanks for the comparison. I noticed the much improved clarity with the 1.r's as well. They also sounded a lot more open and spacious through the headphones to me. What are the room dimensions in this listening area? Room Size? Speakers on the long wall? Thanks.
@@HPMIKE55 depending on the brand, yes. I have purchased quite a few used pieces of gear over the years, fortunately for me they have all worked out fine.
@@Audiolympian I forgot to tell the name it’s called Seaton Sound SubMersive HP+ Sealed Subwoofer 4,000 W. The guy is lowering the price I don’t know what to do can you please help. One side of me says No! But the Other side says do it because I could not come up with $4000 to get a Subwoofer that’s crazy. Lol When you have time ask if it’s worth getting that subwoofer for half price and no warranty that’s what killed me. Lol 😂 Thanks for your help!😎👍
@@HPMIKE55 my first question would be, is your room conducive to handling that monster. It does seem like a rock solid sub, well designed and configured but you certainly would need the right room dimensions so it could reach its full potential otherwise a sub like that in the improper room would just be a boomy nightmare (you may like that though, it’s certainly your choice) I know the feeling of wanting a killer deal. If this is something you’ve really wanted for a while and If you’re in the market for a big sub and have the budget then yes it’s a great deal but if it’s just a want it’s not really going to take your system to the next level, this is tuff but I’d say pass on it. There will be more deals on other items later, there always is. Hope that helps.
I definitely hear the difference. The Triton references are louder. And cleaner. And by the way, I hope to purchase the references at the end of this year :-)

My listening room is small to medium size 7’ height, long wall is a bit over 15’ and short wall is around 12’. Thanks for watching.
