- For years, several young girls in the Midwest went missing. Some were found murdered. Others were never found at all. This CNN documentary examines how police investigated the cases and the questions families were left with. #CNN #News
Redemption is real man! The dude kept the child rapist killer from killing and kidnapping again! To go from a low level prison to a high level prison... think about it... CRAZY! He kept that serial killer behind bars! Dude, very gutsy!
Thankyou Sir for helping..THIS WORLD IS UGLY...
One of my cousin's sons was kidnapped and killed by a secret police from a Central American country years ago. She never recovered his body, she doesn't know where he was killed exactly, she couldn't bury her son, she doesn't have a place in a cemetery to go visit him. I think that is a type of pain that is very difficult to explain. In those countries they do it to keep people in their place, quiet. It's very cruel.
Ask the Holy Spirit for justice!

I'm sorry to hear that Big Jim passed away. What a loyal, supportive son.
Lucky he was paroled, but why in the world did he blow his cover when he had the evidence in his hands, w/ the dots and the falcons ? After going through all that ?? Oh my, what a screw up ! I am surprised there's no footage about him agonizing about blowing his cover. Doesn't seem to make sense that an experienced football player and drug dealer and then hard worker to get to the answer, would blow it all and lose his cool to where the murderer destroyed the evidence.

So two young women are approached by a sketchy man in a van near the spot where another young student had been abducted a week earlier and the police let him go without any investigation? Hello!
Right on!!
Well, they hardly had any reason, let alone legal cause to question him at all. I'm sure a lot of people talked to a lot of other people in that area all the time. That is not a crime.
I thought the same when I saw it..... Like what's going on with those Officer's 🫤?
@@Erebus.666. a young woman is missing and quite possibly kidnapped and murdered. He’s a sketchy guy driving around in a van and following young women! I think he definitely should have been taken in for questioning and they should have done a background check. The lives of innocent people is much more important than inconveniencing one guy. Who by the way turned out to be a serial killer
@@jamesl9371 But he never turned out to be a serial killer, he became a suspected serial killer on very scant 'evidence'. And cops can't just drag people in for random questioning on just a hunch, there needs to be reasonable suspicion which doesn't mean just talking to random people.
My heart goes out to the families of the missing children. May their dear souls rest in peace and rise in glory and may their memories always be a blessing.🙏
Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I truly cannot imagine having your child go missing. There can be nothing worse.
I agree. Waking up every morning and having to relive reality The police are not helpful either. They treat the missing victim badly.

The loss of one's child is something that you'd never even wish upon your worst enemy. It leaves a massive empty void in your soul and your very being.
If anyone was unaware, they made a tv miniseries about this called Black Bird. Very very unsettling, and a scary level of acting.
Yes, I’ve seen this one too and given how unsettling this case the cast did a bang-up job portraying the story and so did the casting people (don’t know the proper title of them) in finding and bringing them together.
Also a TW; do not watch if you’re triggered by abuse/homicide/ rape concerning kids etc. It’s ok to pass watching something that everyone marks as a must-see.
The Larry they got to portray Hall looked so much like him, and had his voice down to a T!😂
That voice by Paul Walter Hauser still haunts my brain. Great show
I just looked it up. Great cast, and Dennis Lehane usually delivers. I'm going to check it out.
@@roooooin Casting director.
A lot of people have difficult childhoods, yet they don't become serial killers, kidnappers, or rapists. Blaming one's upbringing for such heinous crimes is NOT an excuse, and I wish reporters would refrain from presenting it as such.
Yo Jimmy, thx for protecting girls and women everywhere by risking your life going inside, befriending this psycho and getting the details to keep him in prison for life. Respect.
As a father to three girls, this is heartbreaking.
The axes on the wall of a serial killers brother were kinda creepy
He was weird as hell too he probably helped
He sounds like he's on something.
Fuck the axes! The guy himself was a weirdo.
They were tomahawks and it kinda goes with the story of them being civil war reenactor’s
He just seemed kinda slow
Man, it must be a whole 'nother kind of rough to be the twin of a serial killer.
can't remember comedians name, talking about Oral Roberts,
'you think, man, it's gotta be rough growing up with a name like Oral...

I was taken by someone w.hile at a bar in Davenport, Iowa back in 83. I had to have been slipped something in my drink and some how got away and ran across Interstate 80 into Pleasant Valley and ran to a house where they called police. I was arguing with a officer when I came out of the blackout.

Going thru that changed me. I never recovered those memories.
Just vague memories of the bridge that crosses the Mississippi river
I stopped drinking after that. Wish I could say I never drank again but 2 years later I did drink and it was a hot mess

The law has no problem with dangling a carrot. This guy was not a violent, sadistic, murderer. The moral implications of putting this guy at such risk, makes no sense to me. Then again, only in Murcia!
Well said Elizabeth!

While this is true, I also also think that after 15 yrs dealing drugs and with his athletic abilities, he has the perfect skill set to get this guy to open up and tag him. As the classical philosopher, William Joel, pointed out, “only the good die young.”
This is a story right out of the archives of movie of the week. You couldn't have written it any better, it has everything. The really bad, bad guy. The sport star turned drug dealer, turns into a good guy, well not that he was bad, just a bit mis guided And many dead teen aged girls. Hense, movie of the week and the rest is history. Thank you to the good dude for taking this evil pile down... It's a chilling story, and worth a second look, it's quite a long movie...
Yeah! No kidding...as I watched I couldn't help thinking of Face Off movie where John Travolta wears Nicholas Cage face after an advanced and new medical procedure pretending to be him in and is sent to prison to unite with his brother so he could pump him for info.
Comparing actual human suffering to 'Movie Of the Week'? 🤔 Okay
It’s real life for some people
Never go with them. No matter what.....
Easier said than done when a monster's involved who's bent on getting what he wants. RIP dears😢💔💔💔
exactly. so sad. you used to have to listen to your gut now, u can trust no one
Absolutely. I would rather die fighting.
The horror the victims of serial killers go through, and the suffering their families must endure just to satisfy the urges of a serial killer. That is pure evil. And to think many of them are still living, in prison, but alive. Makes you wonder, is that justice?
Indeed. I've seen it send a victims family insane before. The criminal eventually was release but got himself killed less than a year later, apparantly pissed the wrong people off.
Death is way easier than prison
People say them sitting in prison for life is suffering but I disagree.
They get to make friends, they don’t have the stresses of life we do, they don’t have to worry about food, electricity, where they’ll lay their heads at night. They have a commissary, they can call their families, they can get pen pals, they can marry their pen pals and have conjugal visits and create offspring. There is no justice in my opinion.

I don't understand why the killer doesn't tell where the victims are.
Bc it’s all they have to make them relevant
It’s about power.
It’s all he can control now.
It's a secret they have for themselves and the power it holds. Cowardly IMO, ur in prison for life, seriously, give the family peace of mind, somewhat
It's a game to them. They hold a secret that no one else knows, and it's the only control/power they have now.

Yes I thought that was odd
I live in Wisconsin, once a friend told me that one night he left a gas station and someone came up to his car and turned on a red light.
They just sat there for a while and then this guy got out of the car and walked up to my friend’s car and said he was a cop.
The red light on the guy’s car wasn’t a roller light or a flashing light.
When he said he was a cop, I friend told him right away that he wasn’t no cop. He told him to get a life and my friend took off.
This was around 1980/81.
Years later, they found out that John Wayne Gacy used to do the same thing sometimes.
JWG used to ride on the strip where the water parks are in Wisconsin Dells looking for people. That’s not far from where my friend lived.
I’m sure Hall never had like an actual “cool guy” want to be friends with him.

sangeet9100 Why do basement dwelling trolls like you even open your big mouth when you do not know all the facts? It's obvious you do not know the whole real story! What rock have you been under? Would you rather he did not do the mission at all then the serial killer would have for sure been freed to kill other young girls again? Is that what you would have wanted dude?
If the FBI & US Attorney say Jimmy succeeded then he did, there is no 2 ways about it, and they know way more than you do!
Jimmy was released and his record was completely cleared, not even a traffic ticket on his record, and rightfully so! He got tons of new confessions, some recorded on over 20 different victims, which confirmed the serial killer killed the young victims! You seem to have forgot about that very big important part! If not for him, the serial killer would have been for sure released to kill young girls again! To all sane people that makes him a hero! On behalf of all parents thank you for all your help, Jimmy!

Serial killing in prison watching a program about serial killers.
Jimmy messed up by not being able to keep his mouth shut.
That’s what I said.
I'm grateful that he can't keep quiet.....
He totally screwed up the entire investigation and now he's got a book and a movie deal. Wow, must be nice.

You know...Everyone grew up in some kind of difficult manner. I grew up without money and with abuse, but I protect women and girls. I don't kill them. I don't want to hear the excuses anymore.
Edit: All of these shows start off with a story of how bad these killers childhoods were. I just don't want to hear about it anymore.
Which brother is slow again?
The one who taaallllkkkss liiikee thhiiiis?
Thousands of serial killers live among us.
The brother seems like a killer himself
Idk but hes closeted 1000%
He sounds even more creepy!
You people need to go back to people reading school.
It’s a good thing no murders have happened recently that the news should cover!
Truly a unique chilling story! Black Bird is based off of this story! Jimmy agrees to this mission & elicited confessions from this sick demented psycho girl raping murderer. He succeeds! Pretty crazy to agree to go this high level maximum prison with other killers. Thanks to Jimmy this sicko is not out in society! Great award winning show!
I agree with you Meg, Jimmy Keene's Award-Winning Black Bird series is awesome! The best I've seen! Also, his best-selling books are very informative and great reads, I highly recommend!
How sad, my heart went out to all the families of missing daughters,
Good people must be vigilant and report weird behavior
I would rather be dead than someone hurt my daughter

The world is a very said 😢place
Keane botched it by thinking about himself and not what he agreed to do.
True. But Keane risked his life to get home to his dad.
It was obviously difficult to spend time with a despicable guy.
Not many people could pull that off.
@@MsRotorwings What Keane did took some guts but he didn't get the info he was suppose to. Besides, Keane was a drug dealer who only cared bout money. How many lives did he contribute to destroying with those drugs.
@HikerBiker This was one of my first thoughts..he tried to help investigators to help himself, however, he took part in the destruction of many lives as well. On the bright side, he seems to have redeemed himself and hopefully will speak out on drug addiction and help others.

I really don’t understand why people commit crimes, it’s really sad tbh
It is indeed disheartening to witness crime in our society. Often, criminal behavior can stem from a variety of complex factors including socio-economic conditions, upbringing, mental health issues, and societal influences. Understanding these underlying causes can help in developing more effective preventative strategies and rehabilitation programs. It's a multifaceted issue that requires compassion and comprehensive solutions.
I’ve heard many psychologists who work in prisons say that most prisoners are very impulsive people.
I really don't know why people watch this ghoulish soul destroying 'entertainment'.
He was a weirdo who couldn't get a woman so he just grabbed them.
Both of the brothers seem to be a little off
I LOVED THE SERIES BASED ON THIS
