    Ok, I was thinking about Frank N’ Stein, after you make this video, well I don’t have doubts, thanks

    Mulled it a bit, having lost Flesh Golems and Mummies in the middle of a season, Frank is an interesting pick match up dependent. I think he is a very specific purpose to face off vs other high Str teams to combat the line. I actually like that he has the op to break tackle and possibly laying down an important block. Again, situational due to cost, but I'm good with it

    I'm suprised you didn't make a comparison with Grak and Crumbleberry. Similar big guy with no combat, less staying power on Grak, but also free halfling?

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great pick-up Mike! Grak and Zombleberry for the Sylvanian teams are a really great choice - but I think wilhel will be the top pick at 250k!

    Sounds like you've broken up with Winzor Chog and started dating Punga lol. ;-) Good comparison between Frank and Zug!

      Hahaha, wish there was more Winzor Chog - but he's been hired by Games Workshop!!!

    My only thought about Frank is : why would you take him when you can take Wilhelm instead ?

    • @skodedickinson6544
      @skodedickinson6544 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He's a flavour pick but whilst Chaney is better pick to sack the ball carrier, blitz with or even run the ball with big Frank by contrast will be better if your after someone on the line with St 5 he is gonna tie up a few few players vs bash teams and is hard to remove. He's gonna be more viable to say Norse teams who lack reliable LOS muscle esp if your missing the Yeti as Icepelt Hammerblow is missing from this edition so becomes more question of say Frank or Zug than vs Chaney.

      @@skodedickinson6544 problem is loner and no block skill so no safety in throwing a punch with him

      @@ForzaTerra89 true but treat him like a troll - you don't have to activate him to tie up several pieces, it forces multiple players to deal with him to free them including guard pieces normally

    Watching this, who is warming up their 3d printer right now because of .......... unavailability ! UPDATE: 5:47 ... Aha !!! Note that the StarPlayerShop here in Spain do almost all of their Star Players in metal, despite that they are of good quality and very reliable even when shipping internationally. I saw the Werewolf Star Player in there also and a few of the unreleased Nurgle ones so I am very tempted to pull the trigger on them as I don't have the time to convert using GW piece only.

      I love metal. I specifically play blood bowl mordheim and necromunda because I can financially field an all metal group lol

      Not to mention my 4 year old loves orks. She also has sticks of butter for fingers so a chunk of metal tends to stay alive longer at my house lol

    I own the starplayer flesh golem will look tiny next to GWs, and it is suposed to be bigger and stronger? No cant do.
    Starplayer miniatures are gorgeously sculpted and of really good quality though. Just the scale will be off

    I cannot see ever taking him over the cheaper stars with Block (or in Chaney's case Wrestle). Old World teams have far too many better choices. and for all the Spotlight teams Chaney seems flat out better. There is no doubt going to be some niche there he will be a good pick but I much prefer any of the Str 4 Players with combat skills rather than a Str 5 without.

  • @ebbiilizard8954
    @ebbiilizard8954 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Almost great. If only he had guard instead of mighty blow as that's not that useful without block. That would be the premier road block

    No block, loner 4+? Umm

    • @JorisVDC
      @JorisVDC 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup, this is sadly what it typically boils down to on star players.
      Do they have integrated Re-rolls or Combat skills?
      They might be better with changing Break Tackle for Brawler.
      If you take a 250 kgp inducement, you don't want to see your team turn over 1/9 times.

    • @deckerCKY
      @deckerCKY 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, even with break tackle he's a failed loner from dropping on a 1 to dodge. Both his combat and mobility are unreliable enough to avoid.

  • @JorisVDC

    Sadly another player who is a miss. Without at least Brawler, he is at best a 2/5.
    It's such a shame that GeeDubs created this cool new Strength skill that is like half a combat skill, it only works on offense and then they simply refuse to give it to Big Star Players.
    Maybe they are not planning on making a model, so the rules have to be iffy.

    • @deckerCKY
      @deckerCKY 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, was thinking "brawler would make him make a lot more sense."
      Frank will never be taken over Zug.

    I avoid star players who have 1 in 9’s to block. The werewolf is the better choice IMO
