This video and that bike are treasures. I've wanted a tan & cream FL like this since I saw one on the covers of Supercycle (May '79), and Cycle Guide (Sept ' 79). I still have those issues. The first two years of the Evo FL were also available in this colour scheme. I bought my first Harley in 86. An 85 FLHTC, still in the crate, burgundy & slate. I wanted the tan & cream, but they were gone by then. I also still have that 85. Other bikes have come & gone, but this one stays. Thank you for making this video, and keeping this beauty on the road, and in America. (So many seem to be ending up in Japan now.)
I sure appreciate that man. You are exactly right! Seems like these old scoots keep going across the pond. This color combo is my hands down all time favorite. People either loved it or hated it. In most cases they were painted black like every other bike on the road. You take care and keep the rubber side down 🤙
i always liked that color scheme, i had the same bike in blue that i bought new in 1980. the tank badge and flying wheel emblem is my favorite and i dream about it, i want to get it as a tattoo on my arm someday but i better get it soon because it's getting late. good luck with it.
