    Thank you for acknowledging that your hair doesn't always look like this. Hair is like body, and social media sometimes mislead us into thinking that everybody's hair is always SO perfect, while it's not. We're all human, and our imperfections make us perfect, and that's what's beautiful after all :)

    Training your greasy hair to be less greasy with less washing doesn't work for a lot of people though... only if the excess grease is caused by scalp inbalances. A lot of people just have greasy skin (like on your face, you can't train your face to be less greasy), it is just a skin type. So if your hair get's greasy quickly, just wash it when you want to :) just try to avoid daily washing and focus shampoo on the roots and not the lenghts! ❤

      True but I guess equally if you use very stripping drying products on your face you will also make it more greasy because it will produce more oil to combat those products. There is a transition period with hair and skin when you start to use less harsh ingredients when it might look worse before it gets better..
      But yes there is also a baseline that people will have due to genetics etc 😁

    • @danaelois
      @danaelois 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@ehouseable yes thats absolutely true! Sometimes skin is greasy because of harsh ingredients and dehydration. But sometimes skin is just greasy from hormones etc :) that is the case with a lot of people too. For me, it doesn't change when using mild products

    • @janitajasmin
      @janitajasmin 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      this is so true! I've always struggled with an itchy scalp and I washed my hair 1-2 times per week, it wasn't until recently that I realised that my itching was related to my oil production and once I started washing my hair daily/sometimes every other day my itching went away! I was literally struggling for years because everyone told me how bad daily washing was

    Yaaay I’m so glad you did this video! Love your hair, always looks gorgeous 💜 I really wanna use the infamous olapex but afraid that it might be too strong for me and cause hair loss than hair growth. Thank you for being honest about how the shampoo and conditioner not working for your hair. Although my hair grows really long, it’s thin and I need something to help follicular stimulation. A trick I picked up years ago is washing my hair with cold water downwards so tilting your head down which is supposed to stimulate blood flow to the follicles.
    I need that tangle teezer brush. My hair is now 28 inches and has been long for like 15 years, sooo happy to get it cut soo much shorter for the first time in ages. But looking at your hair is gonna make me miss it but I definitely need the refresher! Haven’t even used heat on my hair for a good 3 years and never coloured. Thank you for the tips and tricks. Your hair is just so luxurious looking 😍💜

    Babe, when you wash your hair you open the cuticals. When applaying the mask it's hydrating the cortex, but not closing the cuticles. So it is very important to apply a conditioner after your mask(!) to close the cuticals!! :D

    I agree with alla the steps that you follow but as a professional I can tell you for using olaplex you should first wash your hair after aplly it on wet hair, leave it and then wash again and aply shampoo. That way it's more effective for your hair.
