I love your hair growth tips! I am a little confused because another one of your videos said not to sleep with oils overnight and only keep in for 4 hours. Which do you recommend?
I use plain sunflower oil just before shower and then before blow drying my hair, just couple drops and once again when hair is dry, couple drops of same oil only in the ends of my hair. Beautiful shine, all the bounce, no frizz and softness is guaranteed. Budget friendly too with all the benefits.
You have great videos, you really know your stuff and summarize things well and its nice that you share the products you use that work best for you and don't try to gatekeep them. I have one question though based on your commentary on rosemary oil. I noticed in another vid that you use just castor oil and dermaroller on the brows, but have you tried using rosemary on brows as well to supplement hair growth there too?
Hi! Thank you soo much ❤️❤️So that video was from years ago I actually don’t use a dermaroller anymore. If I did go back to using a dermaroller I would definitely use it with a growth factor or stem cell serum like the one that act and acre makes meant for hit. @@hgo772 You're completely missing the point, there are studies in which people (Including women) responded to 10% and 15% minoxidil which were non-responders to 2% and 5% minoxidil, the only reason some people don't see results with 2% and 5% is due to it not coming in contact with an enzyme called sulfotransferase. I advise you to please educate yourself about hair loss then post your comment.
@@MyHasnainali ye I’ve ordered rosemary and going to work on my sleep and mental health cause I know they ain’t good
Ty for this video! I’m struggling with hair thinning so I’ll be trying your technique!!
Macadamia Nut oil is also excellent for hair and known for strengthening the roots of your hair. ( Everyone’s hair is different so please do your own research before applying to your hair type).
I have blonde hair and find that I need to use clear, white oils like coconut or almond. Otherwise my hair gets a yellow tinge. Thx for sharing your experience.
So gorgeous!! I’m going to try pumpkin seed oil💖I would love to see your naturally curly hair!
I am usually ”against” natural alternatives since they often dont have studies that support them. But i love that you actually talk a bit from a scientific wiewpoint as well!
And that you actually have done reasearch before talking about this.
Same! I am too actually! ☺️ But yes the studies and All the doctors talking about it got me and now I can’t stop.. but just with hair oils. 😂
Love your skin ❤the glow 😮😊
Thanks for the video!I use mango butter and coconut oil mixed .!
I love your hair growth tips! I am a little confused because another one of your videos said not to sleep with oils overnight and only keep in for 4 hours. Which do you recommend?
Glad to see you again♥️
Can you make a vedio on how you style your hair please .
Thank you ☺️ yess!
Pumpkin seed oil + Rosemary essential oil. Got it.
Thank you! You have beautiful hair. I'll try this to see if it works on my hair.
I love olive oil, it makes my hair feel thicker, look shinier and it's always in my kitchen haha
This beautifully explained vid got me subscribing immediately Will try your tips Sarah 😘😘😘😘
I oiling my hair with candelnut oil mix with shea butter. Btw your video is so good and your black hair too. Thanks for making this video
Can you link the products pls
I love your hair. Its so pretty❤❤. I am also going to use the oils
I may thallus purchase it if it goes on sale to try. But no I haven’t tried that. I don’t think I would just Becuase Rosemary is so potent I wouldn’t want to apply that anywhere that I’m cheating tiny wounds.. if Ido try start dermarolling again I’ll talk about it on my channel ❤️
Omg I'm south asian too, Bengali, and my mom use to oil my hair too when I child. However, I never use to like it. Btw, you are absolutely beautiful and gorgeous and so is your hair, I honestly I wish that I had hair like that but I don't unfortunately !! ❤
Omg I love almond oil as a half Pakistani these are all the oils I use on my hair coconut oil, castor oil, almond oil, olive oil, mustard oil with some spices my mom makes them, and a other hair oil my moms still making it but all I know it has bay leaves, aloe Vera, and almond oil. So glad I have silky soft straight hair girl when I was 8/7 I had so much long hair it was so close to my back and it was so silky even tho at those times I used chemicals ( not all chemical are bad I only use chemicals sometimes these are the chemicals I use sulfate, sls not that much, silicones they work for me but they do give buildup so I remember to use sulfate to get rid of the buildup :)
Good to see you ♥️ I appreciate all ur amazing video hun x
Thank you so much🥰🥰
Thank you for your video. I prefer to get the oils like you and make my own concotions rather than buying a marketed hair oil. I find that the bottles are small and can be costly when instead I can put buy big bottles of carrier and essential oils and they can last longer and be cheaper.
I stopped hair oiling more often and colored my hair and wallah my hair is now pretty much efd up☺️
I’ve been using jojoba and Rosemary as I wait for the table and Maine oil I ordered.
How many times a week should we oil our hair with your routine specifically?
Omg you are absolutely gorgeous !! I wish I could have hair like you and eyebrows. I use to have thich eyebrows but I thinned them out. ❤
I love the simplicity of the video and the products. Is it possible to use pumpkin seed oil for cooking instead? They are ways cheaper then the "special hairgrowth" ones and I can't see any difference
Which shampoo are you using sis????? Your hair is lovely.
Thank you for this video gorgeous .This was the video I was waiting for 😙
I did not know that pumpkin seed oil help block androgens .Will definitely try this !!
Your hair has grown so thick and long and its really beautiful :)
Thanks girl😍😍 I’ll be filming a full hair care routine for growth too!
@@SarahSaleen can't wait to see it 💓
What scalp?! Your hair is full and gorgeous.
Third Sarah that talks about haircare 😃🫶
I used minoxidil before and it make a rash on my scalp and when I stop the minoxidil then my hair falling out but I definitely try the pumpkin seed oil and rosemary oil South Africa thank so much 😘🙏
Yesss! There was a study that showd rosemary oil having comparable results to minoxidil, with less of the side effects. I think it’s worth trying to see
Instead of disposable shower caps, could I use a cotton t-shirt to wrap my hair ? I don't want to be wasteful with the plastic
Yess go for it!
I grew out my hair for the first time. It's been growing for about 2 years. I have all these fly aways and hair frizzing. So i guess im going to try some different products to see what works for it. I just tried some oil, just a few dabs to tame it a little. Im using some random oil i got from marshalls, it seems to be working well though and it smells and feels lovely
Update: my hair felt amazing the next day. I oiled all my hair and left it in. I live in the southwest where it's very dry. And my scalp felt really healthy the next morning. Massaging it in didn't do much, but i wore a scarf over night and it soaked in to my scalp and it felt amazing. And my hair feels really healthy and actually does what i want now. Lol.
Thank you for posting this....I am going to mimic what you do as I am new to this. I wonder if you could answer 2 questions.... How often do you hair oil? How often do you shampoo/condition. Thanks in advance!!
Hi! Just 1x a week! For both.
If I work out a lot and my hair gets really sweaty one week I may wash my hair 2x but most weeks just 1. ❤️❤️
Tvoja kosa je san snova !!!
A nos i cijelo lice su ti prekrasni !!!
😭😭 you’re soo kind 😘😘
Hi Sarah... Would you please do an indepth video about how you style your hair with a straightner? I am also a southasian woman and have your hair type. I did see your hair styling video that you posted a couple of years back but the styling part was very brief in that video. Also what kind of a hair cut you get. Please and Thank you
Of course! So much has changed since that video! An updated one is so needed ❤️
How often should this be done? Is it a once a week practice? Thank you for the great and informative video ❤
I do it one time a week. It can be done 2 times at most. These days I just leave it in for a couple hours and wash it out and I still get good results. I’ll film an updated routine. But I’m still using these oils and love them!
@@SarahSaleen Thank you so much for taking your time to respond! Okay, I have bought the items in this video as what you are doing looks like its working :)) but I will definitely check out your updated one too x
@@SarahSaleen do u wash it out with shampoo?
How much hair do you lose just after oiling?
My father oiled my hair cos being an Indian I was born with copper brown hair , so my father oiled my hair all the time so my hair starts turning black and they did an so glad cos I love black hair
I loveee that 🥰🥰🥰
I'm an Italian/Middle Eastern woman. My mom did the same! ❤
I can’t believe it was hair oil all along it truly is a miracle sent from God ❤
Your hair is my #goals. Mine looks like some of your before pictures. Is this the routine you used from the beginning?
Thank you love! 🥺❤️❤️ in the beginning I experimented with a few other oils but nothing worked like this routine. Even now I experiment sometimes with different products, but I alwaysss use rosemary oil no matter what ❤️
@@SarahSaleen You’re welcome !
Thank you for answering my question! 🤗
You’re absolutely Gorgeous 🔥
Oiling hair is really subjective. It hasn't worked for me so far but it works great for South Indian girlies. But I still can't stop oiling my hair. It feels like it is a part of my dna 😂
Thank you so much for this video, I’m new to hair oiling so I haven’t been able understand much. Do you only wash your hair once a week though? Or is that just for the oiling?
I also added peppermint oil. Started today
Hi Sara! Is this your natural hair or do you straighten it?
I like to flaxseed gel my hair aloe Vera it and it’s been pretty effective
I need to get into flaxseed gel ☺️
You are so beautiful! I would love a makeup tutorial
I like your Hair and skin! I use sweet almond oil, Jojoba and Argan oil. I found them light and fast-absorbing oils and they are beautifully moisturize my hair. I really like the video but I don't agree with you about leaving the oil all night. I think it's damaging to the hair, all we need is 1-2 hours.
I agree. This video is super old. All of my videos since then have been me leaving it in for a few hours max
You are very pretty! I hope you have high aspirations for your life. You have a nice disposition, use that to strenghten YOU ❤
I do not oil my hair. But I do comb and brush it thoroughly from multiple different angles with wooden combs, a brush with wooden bristles, and a BBB. Being that the only thing I put into my hair is filtered water or an herbal hair rinse, that sort of counts as hair oiling, right?? My hair and scalp certainly do feel drenched by the end of each "session" anyway (twice a week), and then after washing it feels so soft and healthy!
Yess it all counts! The fact that you’re even consistent with something outside of shampoo/conditioner and seeing a difference is amazing 😍❤️
@@SarahSaleen Thanks! I use neither shampoo nor conditioner 😁
Ur eyebrow are really thick nd ❤ beautiful. How do u get them ??
Can you share the product links plssssssss
It depends on texture of your hair. When you oil fine Slavic hair, it looks like you didn’t shower for a week 🤷🏻♀️
oh my god yes, i rememver my mother emptying half the bottle on my head, wash it with no shampoo and i looked ridiculous😭. as great as oil is we have to get it out too!!
Yes thank you 😂😂. My oiling routine as an adult is so much more comfortable and effective than when I was a child dripping in oil 😂😂
@@SarahSaleen exactly!! i follow your routines like blind now lol, with different products though. they have done wonder!❤️ thank you sm
