  • Hi Friends! I’m back again! I’ve gotten a bunch of requests for hair videos so for my first hair video in over a year I’m talking about hair oiling! I use hair oils weekly and they actually make a huge difference. I’ve experienced hair loss due to COVID, hormones, and stress, and hair oiling is something that has helped me with my scalp and hair health. I also notice that my hair grows so much faster when I’m consistent with hair oiling.

Growing up Italian-American, I always oiled my hair with olive and rosemary oil and used a rosemary rinse. It was such a fun moment of intimate bonding when my South Asian friends spotted my oil bottle in in the bathroom in college. We ( Pakistani/northern Indian/southern Indian/Italian) had different massage techniques and goals, but shared and taught each other. We were all alone in a foreign country, and sharing our experiences made us real friends.

    • @savannahmancuso2965

@@shetty4079 you have to mix castor oil with other oils, don’t use it straight! It’s too thick and can cause tangling and breakage. I roughly use 2 parts argan oil to 1 part castor, then add a few drops of rosemary.

      @@briangon176 Hi there :)
I need to preface that I have zero experience with essential oils, so I'm not the best source of advice on that topic.
Nevertheless, I think that your idea is great. I'd like to give it a try myself :)
The only thing that I need to check is whether or not you can keep it on your scalp for the entire night...
Additionally, it'd be best if you used coconut oil that's : 1. cold-pressed; 2. unrefined.
Best of luck to you ;)

So glad I have silky soft straight hair girl when I was 8/7 I had so much long hair it was so close to my back and it was so silky even tho at those times I used chemicals ( not all chemical are bad I only use chemicals sometimes these are the chemicals I use sulfate, sls not that much, silicones they work for me but they do give buildup so I remember to use sulfate to get rid of the buildup :)

Yes, I do oil both my scalp and my hair. However, I use a leave-in conditioner first on my hair only and then seal the leave-in conditioner with oil. I am considering skipping the leave-in conditioner altogether and simply using oils. Hmmm not sure yet, but considering 😊😊

Heya, I had thick long hair then for no reason from October 2022 till now I lost more than half my hair. I had tests done for thyroid and to check my t4 for hormone all was OK t3 was abit over wat it should be but Dr said nothing to b concerned about. I'm on alot of vitamins so can't be vitamin deficiency. Driving me mad it's so thin. I started rosemary oil a month ago twice a week after extensive research. At the top back of my head my scalp is showing 😔. How long did rosemary oil take to work for u?
