- In my latest piece, "Broken Reflections", the piano becomes my vehicle to explore the complex facets of our identity, reflected through the prism of a changing society. Through subtle notes, I aim to capture the feeling of seeing myself in the broken mirrors of others' judgement, reminding me that we are all human, imperfect, yet connected by the same longing to find our place on earth. Each key I press is like an introspective glance, each chord an echo of our shared struggles. As the melody unfolds, I travel through the ups and downs of the human experience, remembering that our imperfections are the marks of our authenticity.
Each note is an opportunity to heal the cracks that society often shows us, to unite what has become fragmented. As I play, I feel the music flow through me as a reminder that, despite divisions and prejudices, we share this earthly journey in search of identity and purpose.
So, as my fingers dance over the keys, I imagine that each vibration resonates in the hearts of all those who listen. Music becomes the bridge that connects our souls, reminding us that, beneath the surface, we all share a common humanity, a shared history of search and discovery.
Each chord is an affirmation of our worth, of our uniqueness in the midst of the crowd. Throughout Broken Reflections, I seek to weave a tapestry of sound that celebrates our differences and honours our similarities. Each note is an echo of the deep truth: that we are all fragments of the same song, a universal melody that connects us in our journey through life together.
