- Today we test the brand new AMD Ryzen 7 5825u mini pc for mining bitcoin at Nicehash. The device can be ordered at ali express for something around 300 us$. The power consumption is less then 25 watt.

Some of your machines are running at 98c, that could be setting you back..... I completely strip the case and add motherboard stands and put a 120mm on top, I'll show you on discord
yeah, i saw this too but i have no idea why the temperature is so high. 2 same machines with same fan and specs ( bottom removed ) have 2 different temperatures like 60 and 98c. I am not sure if this temperatures are correct at nicehashos. i will check your discord and try to make one machine "naked" also 🙂. Thanks for watching!

@@ClosestNearUtopia i think it is a mistake in the software. i guess the software not read out the right temperatures because the devices are not hot at all. some show 60C others show 95C. But who knows 🙂
Why flash the m.2 anyway? Would be just a good to use a usb flash drive for Nicehash os right? I have tried both ways in the past and never noticed any performance advantage on running ssd or m.2 nvme over just a cheap usb flash drive. But that's just my experience anyway. Can anyone else share if they have tried both ways? Either way thanks for the vid and sharing your experience.
My usb sticks get very hot 🔥 before so I tried this. I have no idea if the performance is better but I think it is the same . Maybe I will test it and let 2 same machines run with usb and nvme. Thanks for watching 🙏
I would take off top and add 120mm fans to each NUC pc
i did already but some still have very high temperatures about 95C. But in my room it is already 40C so no wonder 🙂
@CheapCharlieMiner Awesome, you can get these fancy Airconditioner in the room that has power saving features. Also, it can program it to turn on and off every hour or two. That way, the room stays cool.
Also i was wondering how much money does each NUC mini pc make using nicehash, as i only just started mining and thinking of doing the same as you.

@@tonyvlavo2529 atm i just put them all to mine verus coin at luckpool. there you get on top 1 other coin ( dual mining ) automatically. i use mmop OS on all devices. if you check out my video about the orange pi zero 2 , this devices are more profitable. you can get 10 of these for 120$ and you will make 20 mh/s. so far for me the most profitable way to mine.
only getting about 12mh (verushash) on mine. on windows with srbminer tho. does nicehash os have optimization or something?
For verushash 5700u much better , they make 17mh/s. I have installed NiceHash OS, there you can only choose randomx, no other miner.
@@CheapCharlieMineri used ryzencontroller to give it more watts and it increased my hashrate to ~18mh/s.
