Thank you for bringing this to us, @Mr UploDr . RIP Sean Lock, adored here in the UK and one of the best wits on so many comedy shows/panels. God bless his wife and children too.
the tragedy of bruce is that people who follow an innovator will do a better job, and people who look back are surprised that this "genius" wasn't that funny. but back in the day, though, people couldn't believe their tiny minds that someone thought of something so innovative. audiences thought it was the most amazing thing they ever heard, and comedians were kicking themselves they didn't think of something so "obvious" in hindsight. people basically can't imagine the context where there'd never been a similar thing. they can't imagine how seinfeld or young ones or python was must watch tv because they just see middling talent. citizen kane is also impossible to see as it was first seen, and will inevitably become just a film
I didn't know Vegas was wild. I hope he slowed down a bit for his own health. I like the Vegas I see in shows nowadays. This is the first time I've seen him from before.
I've never liked kinison, he came across as a thick Bill Hicks without Hicks' subtlety or charm. Loved Johnny Vegas since first seeing him in Sex Lives of The Potato Men, in my opinion and despite the shit IMDB rating, the funniest film ever made.
Kinison helped Hicks on his first tour as a teenager, and influenced his rageful style, but was quickly passed by him, and very bitter about it. He was a bit of an asshole, impregnated his mate's wife, the guy found out the kid was not his way after Kinison's death.
I first saw Sam Kinison in the movie Back To School...hilarious. Sean Locke for me has been the funniest man on the circuit for a while now. Will certainly be missed.
Love Sean Lock, pity that living in Oz I didn’t get see the best of his talent live, before he passed…. I am sure he would have added John Mulany to his list…RiP…😢
Kinnison, eh?! First time I saw him was on an episode of 'Married with Children' as the Ghost of Christmas Past or something like that but I didn't know he was a comedian. Saw a few clips on YT, didn't find anything really funny.
Tearful. What a loss. Haven't been so moved since losing Rik Mayall. A million kisses to his family and loved ones.
Very very Ditto. Riks death was massive 😔
@@LivesInLibertyCity Funny, thought the same.
This comment just brought something back when you said Rik Mayall.

What a beautiful shirt...
Love you Sean.
Sean you’ve been without realising it you’ve probably epicentre of comedy in our country for the last ten years. What a bloke 😄
He really appreciated the ART of Comedy
Lovely choices from Sean. I've always admired Lenny Bruce too. Seems like he was comedy's Alan Turing. Crushed by the hateful powerful.
That Vegas clip was great.
Young Vegas is fascinating
RIP SEAN
I'll remember you Sean.
Au revoir to “The Riddler”. Sean was a very, very funny man.
Norm is gone as well
So funny, intelligent, sorely missed... 😪
Sean Lock was a genius (RIP).
Bill and Sean, these two are brothers in different realities. Don't you dare leave us also, Bill...
Johnny Vegas in "Ideal" Brilliant.
Inneh scrummeh
Never hit me until now but Alex Jones looks like Sam Kinison and Sam Kinison's louder, crazier love child.
I like the teapot guy...
Johnny Vegas is an effing legend 👍 Period
Can't believe Sean's stand up idol's was Sam kinison and Lenny Bruce.
Part 1??????????
"When he said c**ksuckers they.." I wonder if Sean was considering making that into the obvious joke, then changed his mind.

He was mad for it and talks about his alcoholism quite openly, even on panel shows. Interesting, funny and broken man. Like most comedians I think.
in his tv show 18 stone idiot. He interviews huey Morgan. And he looks down at the floor as Vegas urinates on himself

Hicks was obsessed with being the smartest guy in the room. Kinison was much better.

Any chance you can put up part 1?

Lenny Bruce must have been an influence on Martin Short.
Part one won't seem to play for me
where's part 1?
Blocked by BBC

how intelligent was sean???
"..what'll I do that's good and hostile?"
Is that Pee wee Herman as Lenny Bruce?
Kinnison, eh?!
First time I saw him was on an episode of 'Married with Children' as the Ghost of Christmas Past or something like that but I didn't know he was a comedian.

His humour didn't age well and a lot of it was quite flat .
@@bigsmoke6189
Yes, I thought it may've been somewhat unique and original had I seen it back then, thanks for the reply!
Yeah he must have had something because a lot of comics like him, but I don't see it
Sean explains Sam Kinison brilliantly. So many crap right wing Yanks have basically copied his style without having his depth.
Where the fuck is part 1????
Sam Kiniston was another great comic who went early...
Sam Kinisen was a one note Johnny and not that funny. Poor choice done for effect only.
Sadly the evolution of Kinison is a generation of comics who think screaming their woke opinions is funny. See Wil Anderson
Johnny Vegas. NO
Thought I was going to see Sean Lock and some most unfunny prawn came on
I didnt find kinison funny at all. His jokes just weren't funny to begin with. And screaming them just made them worse.
