I’m a pretty big Andy fan. I’m riding his baby heron with the 97a nano cubics. Now that I’m used to the different shape, I love it! The man is definitely onto something with the different gear ideas.
I just found out I have a condition called Charcot foot which will pretty much prevent me from ever skating again. It is what is, I'm 41 and it will always be a passion. My son (16) and daughter (13) both shred, and I couldn't be happier. Congratulations on Natas, teach him to keep searching for Animal Chin, he's still out there man, just a session away.
@radoldrat Hold him close, time goes by super quick. Just wait until you get to stoke each other out skating together, it's the best. Enjoy it, fatherhood's a blast.
I liked the "message"at the end of the video : «words of wisdom» … 👍 And yeah, Andy Anderson is a unique character in the world of skateboarding and we need more young people like him to bring more inspiration and creativity !
Love your videos man, congrats on the newborn! I've been battling with heelflips since i got back on the board earlier this year after a 20 year break. So i've just been having fun with my ollies and manuals.
Congrats on the little guy man!! Sick video love the set ups!! So cool you got to meet Andy Anderson dudes def my hero!! Love his last part he put out!! Just wait till you can skate with your son will be so cool enjoy!!
Being that you are a Natas guy I can absolutely understand why you like Anderson. I tried all three of his boards. They didn't work for me. The wheelbase was a little long. The heelflip. Manny Santiago has the best tutorial. Have you watched my learning to heelflip video? Pop, flick stick. The foot should slide off the nose like karate kick right off it. Like a mean ollie north hitting the board on the way off. My foot is never more than an inch down from the bolts and almost straight across the board with just enough toe hanging off to bend the big toe down. Pop Flick Stick. Go get it.
Hey Rat with flip tricks on boards with tapering noses try carrying your flick on right off of the end of the nose, like drag your front foot all the way up and off
G’on. Break a bone or two. Daddy’s got you! Uhhhh , stay sweet and wholesome and rad… lucky happy baby🎉 I got my fat feet on a 9.85. Broke my elbow in July .. back up on it. Thanks ROR. Shred on
@@DustinDollinsShinBone you're definitely right. I'm sorta not really doing anything if you think about it. Total fear for some stupid reason. Squat and kick. I'll get it 🙏💪😤

I agree man! I'm really digging his first model, very functional and opens up a lot of possibilities!

It probably doesn't help that like 35% of ur board has no grip on it.
That doesn’t matter as much as you’d think. As long as you got it where it matters.

The wheelbase on that deck is 14.5 inches
You gotta squat with it and really kick out. Sort of not doing that here.
