thank you so much for covering my iceberg as part of this video! with the expanded entries, even i didn't know all of this, haha. you got pretty much everything on point with the actual facts, but i do have a few minor corrections: - if i recall correctly, the podcast was referring to the minecraft pack as a story pack, the same kind of pack used by the lego batman, fantastic beasts, and ghostbusters 2016 ones; i think this is why you remembered it as having some relation to minecraft story mode, due to the use of the word "story". as far as i know, they never mentioned any relation between the pack and that game, but since it never came out, i guess we'll never know. sucks super hard that the podcast is seemingly lost now, i had no idea until watching this, and i would've saved it myself if i had known it might've gone offline - there's no reward for *full* 100%, but getting all year 1 gold bricks gets you "vorton disco", which is i believe a red brick? point is, it makes the hub play disco music and makes the characters dance. it's definitely sunshine postcard-tier content, but at least it's something - i take no offense to the use of he/him pronouns here because i use the username "babyjeff" online as a joke, but i'm actually a girl lol that's it, loved the video! you did an incredible job researching these points and editing everything together, and it made me super happy to see everything from my "vorton is xen" theory to my silly iceberg level names make it into something like this. thanks!
One little thing I wanted to add on. I think the Jurassic World team pack was originally meant to be a Level Pack. Reasons why I believe this why was the ACU trooper the second character in the team pack and not a named character and with the ACU trooper being an enemy in the bonus level too for the Jurassic World wave. On the back of the box Owen Grady is shown using both Vehicles, without the ACU trooper being showcased. Plus the fact even on the box cover Owen Grady is the only one showcased with his character artwork. Every other team pack showcases both packs. With the fact that LEGO Jurassic World released as a full game earlier in the year they didn’t see a reason why they should release a level pack when they had already released the game and with the ACU trooper being very easy to program with his only ability being electricity. And since he has the same voice actor as Alfred it can’t be hard to argue that he just recorded some extra voice lines for him. Plus the fact that he is the only minion esc playable character also what leads me to think this. And the whole idea of Jurassic World having a level pack would lead into the whole post credit scene of LEGO Jurassic World teasing LEGO Dimensions with that it doesn’t have a main story level with that it was going to have its own level pack. This has something that I have always thought with the character and his inclusion
I was absolutely obsessed with this game as a kid too, i bought WAY too many sets, but i loved all of it, and this video was so freaking cool in reminding me of how fun this crossover was
Hey, I am the person who redesigned the UI of the Lego Dimensions fandom wiki! It is super nice to see someone use it. Im a admin over there, and we still have a Discord server! Loved the vid. Even as a fan of the game since launch, I didn't know some of this stuff. A cool thing I can see you missed is some year 2 E3 footage that differs from the final game, like a demo edition of the Shard, and even a beta version of the Harry Potter world portal with it. A model of the cancelled Lord Vortech (yes, its different from the story mode, it is opaque and not clear) and his vehichle, which is similar to X-po, was found by a user on the subreddit a few weeks back. Just some cool stuff people scrolling through may want to see.
I will pat myself on the back for this. In a comunity post RuggedEagle made he asked for secrets in lego games. I told him about the Cyberman gold secret and he both hearted the comment and said he never knew that. So… I'll take the slightest bit of credit.
I just wanna say thank you so much for making this video, sometimes it feels like im the only one who remembers this game sometimes, so its nice to see a multi hour long video about this game. Theres something i do wanna mention that i dont think anyone else has talked about, but in the lego game lego racers for the ps1 and n64, there was this white brick power up that when collected would warp the player further into the race track, the reason i mention this is because the blue portal cutscene that is used for the power up looks very similar to the loading screens in lego dimensions, where the characters are seen flying through the portal. The only difference is that the version in dimensions has a bunch of white bricks flying around, which makes me think that the more white bricks, the more powerful the warp is, where only using 1 would just be more of a teleport, using a ton more allows multiverse travel. And also foundation prime is made of a bunch of white bricks, so this makes me think both dimensions and lego racers are connected in some way
1:22:53 well if you think about it if simpsons is connected to rick and morty which is connected to fortnite which is also connected to michael myers and michael myers being in dead by daylight which is has a saw chapter. then down the line lego dimensions is connected to saw :)

This game definitely needs a reboot! I think Tt Games’ next LEGO game could be a crossover game like Dimensions and why it’s in development for a little while. It’s also being made using Unreal Engine because of the development crunch using the NTT engine. The last LEGO game we had from them was in 2022 with the Star Wars Skywalker Saga (the ONLY LEGO game using NTT).
You know, I didn't expect Fnaf to get intertwined with a Lego game about having Homer Simpson being able to drive a pink Batmobile while in Green Hill Zone with Owen Grady tagging along

I don't know if there's any way to say this with certainty, but the reskinned cannons featured on the Destiny's Bounty, shown at 2:10:38, are used in both S4, "Tournament of Elements," and, more importantly, Season 5, "Possession." Tournament of Elements introduces a variety of other characters with unique powers, similar to LEGO Dimension's array of characters and their unique abilities, and Possession introduces the Realm Crystal and the 16 realms, which are similar to Vorton and the dimensions featured in LEGO Dimensions. Based on walkthroughs I found on TH-cam, prominent references are a soundtrack featured in S4E1, the Master of Sound featured in S4E1, S4E2, S4E3, S4E4, S4E7, S4E8, and S4E10, an anchor used in S4E10, S5E1, and S5E6, 2 energy coils that could reference S5E2, a cage that was used to temporarily trap a side antagonist in S5E5 and S5E6, and a flag that could reference S5E5.

2:08:50 It me! I'm the Tyler guy! As for X-PO not mentioning any of it... Uhhh... I will have an explanation for that in my fan comic, Multidimensional Ventures, when I eventually get to the Dimensions arc. I will note, however, I no longer believe Crux Prime and Foundation Prime to be the same place. As a side note... Nobody tell the folks on my comic's website about that theory, it'll make a future twist WAY too obvious.
Another note about the LEGO Movie timeline thing being confusing: Emmet has Master Builder (you can also pause the game playing as Emmet, who is specifically referred to as Emmet (Master Builder), as he was in the LEGO Movie Game). If it weren’t for Lord Business and Cloud Cuckoo Land, this really would been definitive that it takes place after the first movie. Oh, hey! I dunno if the Atari 2600 was mentioned on the iceberg before, but I remember recently bringing it up in the LEGO Dimensions subreddit since I couldn’t find any other mention of it online- and to the same confusion as to why it wasn’t in the ET world If there’s something else I would’ve added to the iceberg, it’d be the weird Spinal Tap reference in that Ghosbusters 2016 level, like, such a weird reference
It’s been forever since I’ve seen the movie, so I might get details wrong, but what I remember is that they order a stonehenge prop for their concert, but then it turns out to be super small when it comes on set. In the Ghostbusters 2016 level where you’re at this concert, a gold brick can be acquired when a small stonehenge prop is slowly lowered on center stage, just like in Spinal Tap.
While it makes sense to use Chen's staff as a foundation element for Ninjago as it was the only thing from that current Ninjago season that made sense as one, the Weapons of Spinjitzu/Garmadon's Megaweapon/The Golden Master's Armor would have made way more sense
Very good and informative playlist. A shame about the Inside LEGO podcast, someone really should look into that. Some corrections/notes I have: -This iceberg missed one of my favorite obscure things with the Dr Who content: Every Doctor has their opening titles theme for the TARDIS interior music except the 8th Doctor. Said Doctor is infamous for only appearing in a 90s TV movie co-produced btw the BBC and US distributors for an ultimately-failed pilot. (Luckily 8 returned in a 2013 mini-episode to provide a narrative ending). Because of this co-production's murky copyright status it's become increasingly harder to market stuff related to 8's movie, which is likely why the game skipped on using its opening theme... and yet through glitches players have discovered said theme IS in the game and partially coded to play in 8's TARDIS interior. So it nearly made it in before someone legal spoke up. -Pretty sure the core GLaDOS gets at the end of You Wouldn't Know is meant to be HAL transferred into a core, following up on that last scene. -The devs paid some proper respects to Titanic beyond the Jack & Rose shoutout. You can raise her in a secret area in the Ghostbusters story level and go inside the ship's Grand Staircase, which is shown in great detail in both derelict state and in pristine condition with a BTTF time travel treadmill point. impressive attention to history since the ship's interior never comes into play in Ghostbusters -I think the franchise cameos in LEGO Jurassic World are all just meant to be Spielberg homages, considering his role in the JR series. Particularly with something like the Jaws/Orca crew bit. -The missing Dr Who episode the Goonies level's secret area references is actually Power of the Daleks, not Tenth Planet -Hoopy the Hoop IIRC was actually more of a meme the Valve devs latched onto more than the community; there's some BTS interviews saying they got real attached to it and joked about it being the breakout star, but it was never really part of the meme fest the way Cake is a Lie and the companion cube were. The community has sorta-embraced it in retrospect though, and it did show up in a blind box assortment with a companion cube
I actually read BunnyCuteTyler’s theory about dimensions being the sequel to universe before. If this is true then this would be the PEFECT prequel game. Imagine a vortech origin story that bridges the gap between universe and dimensions, as we slowly and tragically watch our hero become the monster we fight in dimensions! It would be perfect for bringing the franchsie back without toys for life (since vortech and maybe Xpo might be some of the only playable characters) plus it could integrate chima into thr storyline and explain why it wasnt in the main story of lego dimensions.
And who knows, maybe it will explain who the red sleeved hand was in the post credit scene. I know some people believe that it is vortech and how he became that way but in the background we see thst foundation prime is how it was AFTER vortech conquered it, my money is that it was bob from lego universe and he was one of the last survivors from the maelstrom conquest and went to hide at foundation prime (and maybe look for vortech???) but this is just speculaiton from somebody who hasnt even played universe or studied its lore
In Avengers: Endgame, when the Tesseract was being 'stolen' during the "time heist," Loki was able to use the Tesseract to teleport to a then-unknown location. As explained by the Time Variance Authority in the "Loki" series, those events resulted in a separate timeline- one in which Loki ultimately avoided being suffocated by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, and one in which a plethora of other events were not as they should have been. Similarly, 'stealing' items/characters from various points in each show's timeline could be an excuse for the events of LEGO Dimensions being somewhat canon- they're just part of an alternate version of the original film/series. That could solve any and all inconsistencies that conflict with the original source material. The portal that took Robin and the kryptonite crystal when Batman and Robin were chasing Bane in the beginning of the game could have spawned a separate timeline as soon as it was opened. This is also in keeping with other instances of time travel, like in the Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu episode "Lost in Time"(S7E10), the Lego Ninjago: Legacy short "Golden Hour," the Apple TV+ adaptation "Calls," the video game "Life is Strange," and mainstream films and novels like "Inception" and "Dark Matter." (This could also become justified by the yet-to-be-released video game "Life is Strange: Double Exposure.") Also, all of this could make Foundation Prime a sort of dimension that exists beyond definite space and time, like Nether-Space in Lego Ninjago: Dragons Rising.
If disney can put all of disney infinity on steam for 1 price, skylanders and lego dimensions can too. I know with dimensions listening would make it near impossible but a boy can dream

1:05:44 my silly little headcanon is that this is actually Lord Buisness' brother from the lego movie 4D Experience at LegoLand since he is more unapologetically evil and the cast have faced him before, meaning Wyldstyle would already be familiar with him
Wyldstyle would’ve called him “Risky Business” instead of “Lord Business”
@@blagus3743 maybe he’s the new Lord Business after his brother stepped down
This game was lit. The highlight was the ghostbusters levels. I love ghostbusters
This vid was really well put together, great job!!!! Loved the Tommy Westphall reference

Vortech should return to be the main villain for multiversus as it would be a nice callback.
thank you so much for covering my iceberg as part of this video! with the expanded entries, even i didn't know all of this, haha. you got pretty much everything on point with the actual facts, but i do have a few minor corrections:
- if i recall correctly, the podcast was referring to the minecraft pack as a story pack, the same kind of pack used by the lego batman, fantastic beasts, and ghostbusters 2016 ones; i think this is why you remembered it as having some relation to minecraft story mode, due to the use of the word "story". as far as i know, they never mentioned any relation between the pack and that game, but since it never came out, i guess we'll never know. sucks super hard that the podcast is seemingly lost now, i had no idea until watching this, and i would've saved it myself if i had known it might've gone offline
- there's no reward for *full* 100%, but getting all year 1 gold bricks gets you "vorton disco", which is i believe a red brick? point is, it makes the hub play disco music and makes the characters dance. it's definitely sunshine postcard-tier content, but at least it's something
- i take no offense to the use of he/him pronouns here because i use the username "babyjeff" online as a joke, but i'm actually a girl lol
that's it, loved the video! you did an incredible job researching these points and editing everything together, and it made me super happy to see everything from my "vorton is xen" theory to my silly iceberg level names make it into something like this. thanks!
1:22:31 Well, didn´t expect my Tommy Westphall Map to be used in something! Thank you!
Cyberman is actually also a minion character.
One thing I like to see is seeing an adaptation of like a two part avengers endgame and infinity war defeat this new vortex
this is one of the most in depth and interesting iceberg videos i have seen. great work!
Just some cool stuff people scrolling through may want to see.
oh fun fact Matthew Lillard was in this game because i remember he played as Billy Loomis from the original Scream movie in the 90s
and he played as William Afton from Five Nights at Freddy's movie which i did not like that movie by the way
I will pat myself on the back for this. In a comunity post RuggedEagle made he asked for secrets in lego games. I told him about the Cyberman gold secret and he both hearted the comment and said he never knew that. So… I'll take the slightest bit of credit.
Amazing video man, this was so up my street. Thanks for all the gard work you poured into it
thank god there arnt any spoilers for LEGO Indiana Jones! i wouldnt have been able to watch if there were
this video made me setup my ps4 again and dig dimensions up again
You did it sir
Hey dude i know this doesn’t have many views but me and many other people appreciate you making this hella long iceberg for us to enjoy. W video and please make more!!

I'm surprised the Paul Fieg jokes stayed let alone having Mr. Director voice them. 2016 really changed me...

Thanks but you can also turn on TH-cam history
@@blagus3743 my history is on but it doesnt save video progress for some reason, great video btw!
You know, I didn't expect Fnaf to get intertwined with a Lego game about having Homer Simpson being able to drive a pink Batmobile while in Green Hill Zone with Owen Grady tagging along
the example with inside lego podcast is extremely depressing and shows how important archival of internet media is. and regarding the whole video, it was a wonderful ride, and even provided me (who already knew a fair share of things) with several pieces of info i had no idea about. thx for providing us with this huge comp of great info!
You could also mention that in the Lego movie world there are a series of secret tunnels under the ground that lead to treasure.
Yeah. I don’t know what the deal is with those
1:07:22, the "Meet That Hero!" shorts were animated by Paganmation, who has done several Lego shorts for the Lego company in the past. My favorite of the bunch has to be "The Adventures of Max" series for Lego Club.
21:01 It’s general Zod’s spaceship and it appears in the ghostbusters level from story mode. The Lego figure is one of Zod’s minions from Man of Steel

I love to think the it crowd is canon in Lego dimensions.
21:01 - that spaceship is from the set 76003 Superman: Battle of Smallville
This was a fantastic video, I love Lego Dimensions (who here doesn't) and saw this iceberg on reddit, hoping someone would make a TH-cam video but doubting it. The fact that it exists, goes into such depth and is so well-written and edited is amazing. You've earned a new subscriber 👍
1:14 the reason i got lego dimensions
Thanks for the video ❤
16:31 Why didn’t they use Scooby Snacks as a Foundation Element!? It makes more sense for that franchise.
I think it’s because they have a bunch of them

Another thing I'd like to mention is that the Xbox achievement art uses concept art for the photos
So the Simpson not talking isn’t a glitch only Homer had archived audio and the rest of the characters were completely mute on purpose

8:24 Small correction, The Tornado is Sonic's plane, Tails' is the Tornado II
My mistake
I played this game with my brother when we were younger. I want to replay it however I can’t without ruining my credit
56:17 true most have seen someone die I mean Zane literally died and rebuilt himself.
Oh, hey! I dunno if the Atari 2600 was mentioned on the iceberg before, but I remember recently bringing it up in the LEGO Dimensions subreddit since I couldn’t find any other mention of it online- and to the same confusion as to why it wasn’t in the ET world
If there’s something else I would’ve added to the iceberg, it’d be the weird Spinal Tap reference in that Ghosbusters 2016 level, like, such a weird reference
I haven’t seen This Is Spinal Tap and I didn’t catch the reference. Does something go up to 11?
Some corrections/notes I have:
-This iceberg missed one of my favorite obscure things with the Dr Who content: Every Doctor has their opening titles theme for the TARDIS interior music except the 8th Doctor.
You can raise her in a secret area in the Ghostbusters story level and go inside the ship's Grand Staircase, which is shown in great detail in both derelict state and in pristine condition with a BTTF time travel treadmill point. impressive attention to history since the ship's interior never comes into play in Ghostbusters
-I think the franchise cameos in LEGO Jurassic World are all just meant to be Spielberg homages, considering his role in the JR series. Particularly with something like the Jaws/Orca crew bit.
-The missing Dr Who episode the Goonies level's secret area references is actually Power of the Daleks, not Tenth Planet
-Hoopy the Hoop IIRC was actually more of a meme the Valve devs latched onto more than the community; there's some BTS interviews saying they got real attached to it and joked about it being the breakout star, but it was never really part of the meme fest the way Cake is a Lie and the companion cube were. The community has sorta-embraced it in retrospect though, and it did show up in a blind box assortment with a companion cube
Very cool and informative video! :3
Love the nods to Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, but the fact you called Classic Universal Monsters CUM made me chuckle a little
1:32:38
Rob Westwood also composed the music for both games (w/ Ian Livingstone for Dimensions).
That might be why.
I forgot how much I love Lego Dimensions until I watched this video. I want to go back and replay it now it was such a good game.
If disney can put all of disney infinity on steam for 1 price, skylanders and lego dimensions can too.
I know with dimensions listening would make it near impossible but a boy can dream
i would like to point out that canonicly chell is mute, and that is why she does not speak
