Sounds like a Baker’s quality for a Four Gate price. I’m actually happy to hear that, because I don’t like the idea of spending $200 for a Little Book that’s probably not as good as my favorite Chpt 7 Little Book, for $125.
Love to hear a review from you in a couple months. I thought if I heard anyone say anything bad about RR15 I would think it’s just for attention (before I actually opened mine). But I opened mine and it was always flat. I was so disappointed. Waited about 3 weeks and just the nose alone when I open the bottle is unreal and can be smelled from 10 feet away. It’s like it went from 720 to 8k (TV). I really believe good bourbon needs to open up a bit. Solid review. Always appreciate you shooting it straight.
I was able to purchase this bottle at a Whiskey University class I attended and have not opened it yet. All in, tax included, I spent less than $175. I was looking for a special occasion to share the Little Book with family and friends since I paid more for this bottle than any bottle I've ever purchased. And let's just say I really paid and additional price when I told my wife how much I spent. After watching your review I'm now wondering if I out kicked my coverage. Oh well, live and learn.
Well dang it, I was hoping this was gonna be phenomenal. The look of that bottle is awesome. Thanks for the review, I think you just saved me $200, I still wanna try it. Cheers
Maybe shooting for the glossy, expensive “coffee table book” kinda market? More for show and conversation. Give as a gift at a price point that shows you care.
I saw this unexpectedly over the weekend and passed on it. I've never had a Bookers (big or little) that fully lived up to the price. Picked up the KC18 and a 2XO instead with that money, which was the right call.
I picked one of these up a couple of days ago. I got a fair amount of oak and spice, not much sweet or fruit. Agree it was on the thin side. Maybe it will open up with some time. I'm hopeful that future editions will improve over time.
I think you were being too kind haven’t tried it but Jacob’s well batch 2 is a 17.5yr all of it for 165msrp screw little book with the undisclosed percentages this is likely not even worth it’s msrp
Whatever this dude likes I love gotta be honest. Only thing I’m not paying more than $100 for a bottle. It’s fucking ridiculous these prices. I can throw a Rare Breed to any overpriced bottle and nobody can tell me is worth $50 more than Breed. Once I see the ridiculous price done watching video. Continue succes with your content and like always Falcons stink😂😂😂😂😂

I just bought this three and a half hours ago. Struggling not to crack tonight
Always a roll of the dice with Little Book and Bookers.
I disagree. With little book it's a roll of the die. With Bookers, you know what you're gonna get and most are the same profile.
Same…it’s only money 😂
Great review!! We have basically the same palate, thanks!!
🥃😃🥃
Hopefully you can revisit and confirm lol I was really looking forward to this one too. I’m curious of that bookers reserves too.
Thanks, Jason!

Thank you for this, I will be looking for it in a bar before I buy one!
Thanks Jason for review.
Appreciate the review, Jason! Now I can skip the FOMO on this one. Plenty of other good well aged Beam available!

Just picked one up today.
Thanks for keeping it real.

Nice review! I enjoy books 5, 7, and 8 quite a bit and my store owner friend will let me have this one for 110.00 bucks so I’ll pick it up! Cheers!
Picked mine up for 150 very delicious
That’s one good looking bottle

Could do a double bass with different Kentucky spirit Camp Nelson bottles
Thanks for the review. I’ll probably skip it and try it if I see it at a bar.
Case in paint with me…. Thin finishing whiskies can really run the whole experience of an otherwise excellent pallet/nose.
The sexier the bottle, the more suspect the juice inside. This sounds like Little Book: The Leftovers
I saw at local but, was alittle over $200. I passed thanks for review
Looks like a pass for me especially at $200. Thanks for the honest review
Thanks for the nice review. Not sure I'd pay that kind of money for a "good" bourbon.
Any Bardstown Disco comps?
Thanks Jason! Saved my 200 😊
Haven’t been a fan of Little Books except for the #8 it’s phenomenal
Sounds like mix of left over liquid in right proportion to make money. Blending helps sell left over or not sold stuff. My 2 cents. I could be wrong.
Did I misunderstand the comments made by Jason that its blend of other lines.
Thanks for detailed review all the times!
Yeah, I've got Little Book 7 and 8. But I'm going to pass on this one. Still have 3 Booker's I've not opened yet.
Cheers 🍻
Great video!! Keep them coming almost to 100k finish the year strong 💪🏻
Honestly, loving the honesty, more than anything in all of your reviews. Keep it up! Go buckeyes!
Go Blue! Lol
Love the bottle & the blend of ages but the price 👎🏻; I think the bourbon enthusiasts are rebelling against these high prices.
Interesting and glad to get a good honest review. Will be curious to see how Bookers reserves stacks up.

Batman’s bottle 😅
You probably just saved me a 200-300 bucks..😅
Good review, sounds like a pass for me - I’ll hold out for other Beam offerings.
Very unwelcome news, hopefully batch 2 is better
Looking forward to this review. Hopefully no beam rant tonight. Lol
Thank you for saving me some money!

10/9/24 update: Secondary resale on this looks to be basically breakeven now vs MSRP. Seeing it go for $225 shipped on secondary pages now.
Been looking forward to this one

I really wanted this one. Now not so much
Never seen a little book yet around me.
Is it a buy or pass in your book..?
@@N.M.T.K pass
I may let it open
Pass. I’ll stick with KC single barrel for $48 or 12 year for $60. Great values. Any bourbon containing “book” is way overpriced.
Seen one today for $250
Seems like a gimmick
20 years ago you could get a high age Willett wax top or multiple PVW 15 for 200. Bourbon market has become COMICAL.
Imagine paying $200 for a bottle, and it getting blown out of the water by a $70 batch of ECBP 😂
DEF. NOT worth the MAJOR expense.
Quality VARIES QUITE considerably.

How can it be a straight bourbon if it’s blended 4 different juices all form different distillery
Again I understand the story and the history but at 200 it’s a pass.
Little Book is one of the biggest scams ever portrayed on bourbon lovers.
Lame gimmick
