Been a owner of fz16 from 2010 , still running like a charm. Gear shifts are still same , still its lord of the streets. :) But in a decade the perception has changed for FZ - from a college bike to family bike now. Never see that coming though. Thanks for doing this Strell :)
With each generation, the fz is becoming more and more docile. I cannot digest the fact my version 1 is still the most powerful generation out there. It still beats other 150s in a flat out performance. The mid range of this engine is just so so sweet.
Hlw strell I'm your big fan. Loved your review currently I'm a rtr 160 4v bs6 rider and I'm selling my 160 4v and after that I'm going to purchase this bulky beast fz v3 bs6. I really love fzs v3 it's awesome. I really like the performance of this bike going to purchase it very soon.

@@ajaykukreti3268 I have completed 8000km in one year and now I'm having very much problem with this bike. And the point which you raised about performance so let me clear your doubt power is not less in fz like on paper performance is low on fz but on road when you'll ride fz you won't feel any lack in performance as I have tested that bike and I really loved it. I know apache can go above 130 but brother let me tell you one thing apache is not safe at that speed because it's a naked bike plus wind blast will make that bike unstable and already stability is very low in apache ( which no one will tell you this) gripping is also not that great and on highway you'll cruise on 80-90 or 90-100 and that speed is easily achievable from fz like I have cruised on fz and my speed was 90-100 and bike was really performing really well. And fz stability and gripping is best in its segment like I have ridden fz on 118-120 and the stability and maneuverability on fz was of top level and In apache that is not available. I'm really eager to watch your review of the new FZ-25, because that bike seems to foreshadow what the next gen MT-15 would be, especially with the switchgear
Bought bs4 after seeing your review last year. Bike is awesome for a beginner like me. Easy to handle in city like bangalore. Have done long rides of 450kms. Only concern people have is the build quality. My tank panel was broken and yamaha denied warranty since there was a minor scratch on the tank. Same issue was found in many I know who bought at the same time, not sure if they have fixed it now.
Hi bro, i had seen your BS 4 review then, i had bought FZ-S BS6 In January 2020 and as a beginner i usually drive between 55-65kmph most of the times in eco mode, so literally I'm getting 62kmpl mileage since completion of second service ( i drive on highway).
Hi yamaha lovers, My bike is BS4 fz v3..Bought in march 2019, Till now 27000kms i had driven.. I'm maintaining my with regular Engine oil change for every 3000kms, chain cleaning n lubing, with proper maintenance you easily get 50 to 55kmpl at 75kmph(max economy speed) even with pillion or without both in city and highway.. after every service i would try to check mileage of my bike with 10ltrs tank to nill tank.. Well, I'm 25yrs old, so i ride little aggressive n with little care, so i maintain my speed between 60-75kmph everytime. Once to test my bike's i emptied entire Tank Nill along with fuel injectors until bike struggling to start. Well you don't believe the mileage i had got. So minimum 50+ and max 57kms you will get, but only if you maintain if your bike is under good condition Fz Bs4 Top speed is 123kmph(don't expect same 50+ mileage😛) Parts changed that i changed so far Front n rear Breakpads 2times Air filter once Just Clutch Steel plates(rs.120 apprx) Chain sprocket (complete ga poledu.. But i changed bcz i want my bike to be smooth) Clutch wire 2times Front absorbers Oil seals I use yamalube 10W40 in winters n rainy But in summer i choose motul 10w50 just to avoid engine over heating as our weather temperature touches 45°c (Telangana) Now my bike is as new as it was when i bought and even more powerful i feel😅. If we talk about Braking, you need not to doubt. Superb ABS braking n handling. In Hyd roads i use to drive at 60-75 kmph speed, that's the trust i have on myself n my bikes Braking performance A tip while buying chain sprocket kit.. I had purchased kit from showroom. But Chain that i got in the box was thin which is not just like Stock chain.. So before buying from Showroom spare parts, check outside shops who sell genuine yamaha spare parts, check whether stock chain or thin chain inside the box. Yeah they will open the seal(it was just a plaster).

Bro i have ridden this beast in bs4 model and i achieved top speed of 124kmph the stability of this bike is awesome at that kind of speed I can truly say that maneuverability at 124 kmph was tremendous. I must say many youtuber reviewers criticise fzs v3 because of low power delivery but it's not that true bs4 model fzs can easily go upto 124 and i have ridden at that speed for more than 5times. Whereas I have ridden xtreme 160r of my friend and i achieved 122 at that bike and after that speed I was struggling alot. Now all the TH-camr reviewers were silent at that time when xtreme 160r was powered with 15ps of power but then also it achieved 122 of top speed. It's totally clear that fzs v3 bs4 is not underpowered machine.
Hi Strell, My previous bike was a CBR 250r 2017 repsol edition. I sold it cos i want a good city commuter with decent mileage figure. Will FZ V3 satisfy that need?
