Just a FYI, you could put the lit flashlight in the pouch in the first Into the Radius too, it's a common strategy to keep hands free. It doesn't work on the Quest versions though, since flashlights turn off when ya let go of one due to the Quest's lighting limitations. Some players who were scared of the night in ITR 1 would have a circle of lit flashlights in their pouch to really go overboard.
That's weird, I shined a flashlight on the first mission artifact in glass shards and it did nothing but make cool shadows. The tablet light worked, though.
I tried this in your earlier videos. but ill try again. the anomalies get samey. its VR you can make a flying "creep" as a flat surface that you see though into parts of the world beyond the radius, they swoop down, entangle you and screech to attract other creatures, mimics (from DnD) pretending to be loot items, weeping angels or creeps that look like normal bushes. but when they are moving become vulnerable to attack. wandering areas that flip the environment about. if your in it when it moves it jumps you across the map. more useful artefacts such as something to make you invisible or invulnerable to a common type of anomaly (depletable naturally), short range teleport artefacts. anomalies that give false images of creep attacking you, so you discharge your weapon at a phantasm. health syringe that makes you see ghosts and hidden parts of the map. anomalous weapons from beyond the radius, a crown that shoots a beam of void, a small orb floating around my head that repels bullets back to there point of origin, a trident that gives you wings. unique anomalous locations so when I go into a little building and enter a huge ballroom or figure out that if I shine my torch on the obelisk it forms a light bridge I can walk on, I feel like I've discovered something. more weird is more betterer
wish when you drop magazine in pouch it would catch it maybe they will later did the first game do that? i got the first one but was late and wanted as fresh of an experience in the game as possible when this one came out
You can buy a chest rig mounted light in the store next to the medical stuff if you take the time to look at whats for sale every video i watch and see you pass by them just to the right of the medical
I think Nexus Mods has yet to approve the game, but some are available in the game's Discord modding channels, discord.com/channels/537645945006063636/936568201154797588
I just started the video-- I know it took ya a while to reach security level 2, but I think I hit a bug that made me sec level 2 almost immediately! I only did the first 2 tutorial missions and suddenly I had security level 2. I hadn't even gone to the Forest yet! And I was able to go and buy all the security level 2 stuff I wanted. It only took me like 40 minutes (I wandered around looking for ash), I felt bad for how long it's taking everyone else. Since it's clearly some sort of bug, hopefully it doesn't ruin my progress somehow (though it's early access, who cares if I gotta start over of course).
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a video on how to edit a save file on this game it can be unplayable at times with all the bugs and glitches I’m sure many people along with me would appreciate it
I don’t really like the new gun models or the way you put the attachments on I hope they I’d like an upgrade system like in the first game and they had most of the guns like the M4 scar AKAM
You could just keep hitting up the anomaly fields in Peninsula till ya have enough to stock up with enough supplies to feel comfortable. Get a few artifacts in those spots before you see any enemies, return to base and sleep till the Tide, do it again, etc etc. And keep an eye out for Ash (the stuff you pick up that dissolves in your hand), that automatically turns into money, and in my short time playing the game it can really add up sometimes.
my game has so many bugs im going to wait till they fix this game. 5800 x3d 4080 super with my Pimax, runs terrible even on lowest everything... not playable and i play for 2 hours and come back later to find my saves gone. unexceptable really... game is broken
That's a shame, your PC is too nice for it to play like that, I hope it gets sorted soon. I just have a 12900k and a 3070ti; my first session had hiccups and frame drops, but today was pretty smooth (maybe it was shader stutter or something during my first session).
I hope they bring back that satisfying high pitched squeal when you dispatch an enemy from the first game.

NGL seeing him spend like 20 minutes to organize all his ammo is why I HAVE to combine after each run, that would drive me NUTS!
You cane use the probs to trigger the electrical anomalies make them sit still get around them easier.

Into the radius 2 is what Retribution should of been

For sure, the pocket flash light, I never used them in ITR1, I don't know, don't really have a reason.
Will you be able to mod the game when the full release comes out
It's already being modded :::)
