When I first saw footage of this game, I thought the chair anomalies looked brutal, and the reflectors looked easier, being more visible, with their color and visible core. Man, was I wrong! If you're quick, you can dart all around the chairs. Hell, their biggest threat is guiding you into a reflector. I think the reflectors are more deadly because they lie dormant far more often, and, in ItR 1, where the outermost shell wasn't harmful (you could safely walk between two reflectors that touch each other), the hit detection on these extends to the very edge. I know the new ones don't superheat your probes and other items, and fire them back at you like a shotgun, but that was a relatively easy threat to avoid.
The big bag for 2000 bucks has two large weapon slots and can carry a bunch, it's well worth snagging if ya can. The big backpacks and the pocket light are the biggest QOL upgrades I've been enjoying, aside from better weapons. The pocket light in ITR 2 works way better than the pocket light in ITR 1 and it moves with your head like the headlamp used to.
I feel like it focuses the good loot drops near the missions. Or depending the location. Think had a time or 2 house be empty since had a mission item. Could be wrong tho n just completely random. Also you really need the body light on your pack strap. Soo much better to see at night and super cheap like 400$. I usually wouldn't stop since wastes precious loot time lol
I've completed a lot of missions but I'm still at security level 1. Can you please share how many missions did you complete and were does it show your security points and how much to get to the next level? Thank you in advance.
@@substatica thanks buddy for the hint. I think I know how it works now. It's not the number of security points that matters. As you complete missions and they become more difficult and deeper in the forest region, you will eventually upgrade to higher levels. I got level 2 last night and purchased 18000 worth of equipment which I'm going to test drive tonight 😁
That's a bummer. I was lvl2 before I even set foot in the forest straight from 0 to 2. I'm guessing it was a bug in my favor. I do often get hit with the disappearing items in my backpack that still retain their weight. I've had to sell and replace three large backpacks (fortunately, their sell price is almost ⅓ of their cost). Just today, I finished a looong mission that ended in me finding three unique artifacts. When I went to complete it, one had disappeared. Now, I have to go back and redo the last step of the mission, which will require me to kill a bunch of mimics again. It was my security level 3 mission, too. I love the Bizon (mainly the 64-round magazine that uses cheap ammo), but the Val/Vint was my favorite midrange assault rifle in ItR1 and I was excited to start with that tomorrow. Oh well, at least it'll extend my time on the limited EA version. I'll be bummed when it's over, even though I have an unfinished ItR 1.0 game to complete (it'll probably be a bummer after these graphics, the rigs, backpacks, jumping, etc...still awesome, though).
Besides empty ammo boxes and empty probes, the only "used" thing I've seen be able to be sold are cigarette butts. I've been putting used cigarette butts in my backpack and selling them for 1 buck each. Cigarette butts used to despawn just like the health injectors do, but now they remain an item even when used up (not sure if they survive a Tide, should you flick one away somewhere-- hopefully not).
Hey I have a question now idk if you still do these but could you make a code for walking dead saints and sinners retribution that allows you to have the axemans aka:Geriks axe
Fair enough, it was early in the journey. At least it doesn't affect us as much as being overloaded while dragging like a rifle and a big orange box across three maps in the first game...holding them with the triggers and periodically having them fly across the map.
I thought i would comment on your most recent video since your more likely to see this. Is there anyway you can make a version of the god phone for quest. Even if you say no I will gladly help. The sky is the limit.
5800x3d, 4080 super, run like azz on my Pimax crystal lowest of the lowest everything settings unplayable... on my Quest 3 on highest setting runs perfect... why???
1:32 yup that different distance between the laser and the dot is accurate to real life if both are zeroed for a particular range.

the artifacts turn in you were looking at the weight not the artifact number. nvm you got it lol.
Whenever you get chased by a spawn and it's in front of you, wait until it stops to shoot it
💯 That Part.
My First Run It Put In Maximum Effort To Dodge Me Ever Getting A Bead On It.
Best of luck with the otherside of the river its all whole other ball game recommend the large rig and back pack you will bring back alot of stuff
I have seen a loot crate in the guard tower on the small hill near the rail yard on forest.
For sure! I was right beside it, got distracted and forgot to climb up. It turns out there's a crate/stash to the South/West of the station as well.
Absolutely love Substatica! Found out about Into The Radius 2 by pure luck when it got released.
@@ParaglidingManiac can you tell me if you do have info if they add it but I still hope they will add that pistol

I prefer the other large bag, with the four extra fixed slots. Good for health injectors.

I completed between 5 and 10 missions before the Security 2 mission showed up. There is a bug where it doesn't show for some players though.

What I’m trying to see is when the game is fully released I bet the OC 33 pistol is going to be added. That’s what I meant earlier.
Did you ever find out if you could sell used health pens?
I don't think you can, I tried to pick one up and it despawned.
@@substatica I guess they don't want to be responsible for disinfecting them.

Kinda Digging This Title Atm Currently Taking A Brief 30min Break Before Diving Back In..

Unfortunately I cannot. His axe is not a usable weapon in the game.
It’s ok I don’t mind the axeman code is pretty cool
But how did you get Gariks axe in that one video
I have a question, sir. Are they going to add? Ots 33 pistol into the radius 2
I doubt they'll add the OC-33 since the G18C is in the game and is an auto-pistol, but I have no inside info.
i feel like if they were to add a 9x18 auto pistol they would do the APS Stechkin model, since to my knowledge it was a more used model
The tripod can go in a rifle holster.
Great tip! I forget that sometimes, but also, I don't need the weight if I'm coming back that way.

Is this played on a quest 3
This is PCVR, played through Virtual Desktop on a Quest 2. There is no Quest-native version, yet.
Nice aim-skill.

Is the pimax running through openxr? Apparently it works better through it.
@@mochatugboat1914 yes openxr, my pimax works fine for all my other games. just not this one. the only differance is that i switch to Pimax runtime

Psvr2 should have play test to.....this sucks lol😅
GET A BETTER BACKPACK FOR THE LOVE OF GOD and better rig
This is the only rig with two chest weapon slots, I wanted to run it for a while.
