A shame that such a nice little movie isn’t recognized that much. I just saw it again for the first time in, I don’t know, thirty years, and not only does it still hold up to this day, it is as relevant as it was back then. Great cast and a simple, yet effective, argument and plot. A couple of loose ends here and there, but overall, very enjoyable.
@@mr.randomguys7629 Yes, it's very good. But man, what a movie Meyrink's Golem could have been! It at some level uses similar devices as _Mulholland Drive,_ except Meyrink did it _85 years_ before Lynch! Of course it's also much deeper.

I love this movie. The fact it hasn’t even been released on CD with the last release being on Laser Disk is just baffling to me.

I always regretted that Soderbergh did this story instead of Gustav Meyrink's _Golem._
That would’ve been super interesting to see. Still I really like what Soderbergh did with Kafka.
