- Here I have a problem with internet connection to my PC. My Ethernet cable connection does not work. Probably for driver problem. But when I connect Wi-Fi USB adapter there strange problem arise! There are all user nearby shown in the network list but me. Troubleshoot is useless. It was also persisted when I setup my network from settings manually.
I have tried another suggestion from a forum. Inactivated the windows defender security defender. But it was failed. After a lot of experiments I found a solution. It simple and effective for all routers. My android phone was connected to the router. So I logged in to my router. My router is an NETGEAR WNR614. To log in go to browser and type www.routerlogin.net in the address bar. Username is admin. Password is password. Look at that all signals normal. Go to advanced. Then go to Wireless Setup. Find wireless network settings. In this setting Enable 20/40 MHZ Coexistence should checked by default. Just uncheck it. Then click on Apply. Wait for a moment. Now look at the wireless network list. My NETGEAR97 is back!For another model of Netgear router you may find this setting from this. Uncheck it. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี

This isn’t my problem. My problem is that my 60Ghz does not work. I have been using it for the past year so it definetly did work but for some reason I woke up the next morning and tried going on my Xbox and pc and it does not show up on the list. On netgears website it says everything is good to go and my 2.4, 5ghz, 60Ghz show up on the list with the green check but when I go to network to connect to wifi my 60Ghz is the only one to not show up. Why?

Do I need to buy a router in order for my Wi-Fi network to be detected my ASUS Laptop?? I took my laptop to my mothers apartment and it was able to connect to her network because it showed up in the list of Available networks.
What if I am just trying to connect to my phone's hotspot? Other devices recognize it, but not my laptop.
It worked, thank you, even if the router isn't the same, you can easily find the bandwidth option and if isn't with the checkmark, select any of the options ( I had automatic, 20mhz or 40mhz, I tried with 20mhz and it didn't showed up, then with 40mhz it worked)

Huh ? Non of my many device in the home are still connected to the NetGear wifi. Its only my cabel modemn wifi which absolutely sucks thats why we got the netgear routerto begin with for better internet speeds. But I can’t connect to the netgear to login and have it tested by the website so what the hell should i do

My new D-Link DIR-615 router can't be seen in my desktop although it is showing the other devices like another router or mobiles from which wifi signal is generated by hotspot. I can connect my mobiles with wifi from the new device. I am using iball Baton wifi adopter in my desktop. How to solve this problem? Please help me as soon as possible.

I found that if you go to network, change adapter options, select wifi, go to properties, configure, driver and then update your driver and it should get rid of the problem, or at least it got rid of mine

I have the same problem and I’m using a Bell hub 4000 modem and my wifi adapter is D-Link DWA-171 Wireless AC Dual. Wifi network doesn’t show up on my computer however, I am connected with my iPhone. I’m not sure if the same rules apply from this video and to the modem but I need a solution..

You have to type in your IP address normally it’s the one that starts with 10. Then it will automatically take you to your router settings, his is different since he uses a different network. But typing in your IP address should work across the board. Hope this helps

Dude I've tried making a network manually 8 times now :') and the video might not work because my laptop is a bit older
In my case, I went to "Wireless Security" and realized the SSID (Network Name) was different than the other laptop. For example, for one laptop I connect through "ABC", but on the other, the network was showing as "DFGEEFG". Why? I don't know...
It's not normal case! But If you have been using wifi usb dongle for different devices, it may be occurred.

I went through a thousand videos. Reset my laptop numerous times. But it was my router that was the problem. To factory reset your router just put a pen or pin in the tiny hole at the back, and hold for 10 seconds, and release. Boom! Internet back.
I want to say a massive thanks to you for curing four days of router hell! The company online help told me just to put a pin in the back and switch off then on. Nooooo hold the switch down for ten seconds. Thanks again.

Unwatchable for me. If you can’t see your router in your WiFi settings anywhere and Passwords etc don’t work. Simply put a pin in the hole but hold down for ten seconds. A guy below somewhere has made my life make sense again so hopefully I can pass it on.

Faced the same issue. after watching countless videos & nothing working for me there was a wifi called “hidden network” it turns out that was actually my wifi and I just connected to that and put my wifi name & password & I got my internet back if you ever see hidden network you guys should try it out. Not sure if it shows for everyone but that’s how I fixed my issue.
I saw the hidden one but it’s still not mine :(
On my Acer Qualcomm wifi network adapter.
In device manager I went to the wifi adapter & change the wireless mode down to only use 11 a/g/n/ac.
And it immediately popped up for me. I think the driver is not doing backward compatibility from the ver 12 standard. 😉
I dont have 40M so i switched to 20M but that I don't think was the issue.
The issue is now is that it keeps dissapearing & I have to keep changing the setting again & again. This seems to be a driver issue may be.
I have the same problem on my Acer and i don't know what to do...
@@k.elenkin4849 For me it turned out that to be a hardware problem with my Huawei usb router. The battery had overheated due to 2yrs of constant use, it bloated & popped out.
Ofc the device was issuing a weak & distorted signal & hence the wifi adapter on my PC had issues connecting to it. Got a cheap new router & all is very good.
Try a different router & see. I find that most issues are almost always due to hardware malfunction & rarely a driver related. But thats my experience, Good luck.

I didn't find this settings but while searching for it I found channels and I changed it from 13 to 11 and boom it worked so you can try changing channel also.
I thought I should share the info maybe someone in future may fix his/her problem.

Install latest drivers
If the problem persist and you only get internet when near to device and no internet when faraway, then wifi card would be problematic. Get it changed. I hope it works for you

Very helpful, Thanks a lot. In my DSL setup, there was drop-down of values in place of check box. So I selected 20gh value and after 19 seconds I was able to see my broadband wifi and connected successfully. 👍🙏
