She suspects they were purchased in London, and they turn out to have a colossal combined value. I remember buying a beautiful piece of jade in Iran back in 1988. In a bustling market, a small shop filled with gleaming gemstones caught my eye. The shopkeeper, an elderly man, shared stories about the jade's history and significance. Feeling an instant connection, I bought it with great excitement. After watching this video, I'm curious to see how much it's worth today.

It really is amazing how much Jade can be worth. It's all about the color.
I have a lovely jade necklace, but it is a darker jade. In New Zealand, it is called Pounamu. Personally, I prefer our jade. It is more like a moss green.
as a new zealander I also agree. Imperial jade is superb but sometimes it looks like plastic haha

I wonder if that stunning ring qualifies as Imperial Jade (Jadeite). It appeared to be a little occluded as well, but ive seen stones like that in the $10k+ range.

The flat pieces that were made into a brooch were buttons or adornments for lapels or cuffs for a Chinese brocade robe that is why there's so many holes in the pieces so they could be sewn down . This guy is clueless how about the real Chinese Origins

Why? Doubt any of this kind of stuff is loot, so much goods were still just China trade and its only valuable because of the course of time.
