- The Acura TL is a compact, entry-level luxury sedan with a great balance between luxury and sport. In this video, I discuss my Top 5 Baller Mods for the Acura TL. And by Baller Mods, I mean the most EXPENSIVE MODS (that's fairly easily obtainable). This video was highly inspired by other car channels on TH-cam (Donut Media! and Fitment Industries!) The TL has moderate modding potential, but it can still be made to keep up with it's competition and turn heads at the same time!

The 2004-2008 TL looks the best imo, especially with the jewel eyes LED

i got an 06 acura tl just hit 210k and still modding but it runs and sounds like a beast😮💨with bbs chrome rims and a cold air intake and throttle body spacer but i love itt
Air suspension takes a whole lot of work! If you know what you are doing you will know! I am going for jewel headlights as well but about 2g’s for jewel headlights. Soo nice and I’ve been eyeing em down for a long time

Just finished my stage 1 supercharger kit from Gerzybear performance for my 04 TL 6spd. Claims 425 whp. Pretty solid kit so far. Just finishing up the tune for it among other mods to complete the set up. Will be posting pics and vids when its all ready in the coming weeks. I actually just have air for a little over a month now. To be honest it is pretty awesome and convenient, people usually look at my tl when I air out

Just got a black on black 2006 Acura TL today for 8,750 with only 59k miles on it and stick. WITH THE TL WHEELS AND A SPEC BODY KIT. AGHHH I CANG WAIT FOR IT TO GET TITLED AND TAGGED

Not sure if I’ve seen that attempted, you need to cut out the frame in the rear passenger to pass a drive shaft through. Just get a 4g TL SHAWD.
I just got a 2nd gen TL, and I’m surprised how little aftermarket stuff there is out there in comparison to stuff for the 3rd gen. I probably won’t do much modding to mine besides suspension, wheels, tires, and exhaust since it has almost 300k miles tho.
Acura's in general don't get alot of aftermarket support, compared to Hondas. Sometimes, you gotta get creative with mods

Just got a 2010 TL
I picked up the same car this week, she has just under 114k.
I have an 07 type S with 40k miles. What’s the best budget shocks to get? It’s stock height. Thanks
First of all, DAYYUMM! 40K is super low miles for a 07. She's a keeper lol. As for budget struts, I would recommend KYB if you are staying stock height

OGS with the $4k headlights? Fuck out here with that. That is beyond overpriced and I'd hope they would come calibrated with that type of coin. They charge damn near 3xs what I've seen others ask for those lights. Super clean, but I can't see the value in it. More power to those of you who do and have the wallet for it. Enjoy them.

Just got a tl aswell 05 battery seems to be dying might get a new battery next week 😬
If battery keeps draining over night change out the alternator and unplug that blutooth module if not using blutooth device.

I have a TL as well and I love the car but what is the way to save the transmission in these cars I constantly change my fluid and it's been working out but is there any permanent solution
2nd and 3rd gen TL's and Honda V6's of the same vintage are well known to have pretty bad transmissions. It just wasn't made well from the factory. You're doing what you can do to prolong the life of it

The TL isn't the easiest car to learn on, due to the clutch not being consistent. Manual TL's are out there. They are pretty rare though. Good luck with finding one!

You're going to have to do some research. I want to say there are Super or Turbo charger kits out there for the 4th Gen TL's. You will most definitely have to do some custom work though

@@thecarfiend11 air ride is sick but unless you got money like that to fix then a pay for tow trucks I’d pass on them lol. I live in Pennsylvania so we have spring an summer but my car don’t come out the garage only for spring an summer an a little bit of fall lol
